Unfortunately my specialty drug didn't arrive as scheduled before my departure for my sister's funeral. After dealing with the local pharmacy twice, mail order, home delivery, and the specialty pharmacy getting passed from one person to the other and 2 hours in the phone DAVID solved my problem in less than 2 minutes. He literally solved the problem and took the liberty to contact my local pharmacy and asked them to handle things on their end. Again, I can't say thank you enough. This Walgreens was always 5 star for our family until last year. I asked a question in the drive-thru(first lane near drawer) and employee yelled through a microphone. She was standing up. Another a young employee told me "we all have to wait" when I questioned being told to move aside. I just wanted to know if I would get back in line in the same spot. Have not seen Dave in awhile. The fact that this Walgreens has a 24 hour pharmacy has really helped me out more than once. When I've had issues with medication/prescribers/insurance/time constraints, this Walgreens is open and here to help me out. I've transferred my prescription to them more than once and they were able to fulfil it quickly and easily with no problems at all. They also have the best little seasonal section. I can always find a last minute gift or cutesy piece of holiday decor here, and always affordable! read more

I was given dried out lidocaine patches. They weren't expired but clearly they were old. I took them back and the female would not talk to me she kept telling the poor tech what to tell me. I was told they dispense AS IS and to take it up with the manufacturer of the patches. Why not offer a new box and you the pharmacy send them back to the manufacturer for a 20 plus years customer that NEVER returns anything. Now I'm stuck with patches I can't use. There is no customer service anymore, just take the money and move them along. read more

Walgreens on Bedford Rd. & Central Dr. This is the most jacked up store you will ever encounter. What 24 hr pharmacy keeps running out of controlled medicine every month? Whoever orders it needs to be fired. You can't move a controlled substance to another pharmacy so people end up going thru withdraws. I hope the female pharmacist gets to experience not only withdraws but pain for a 3 day weekend. She is a liar and I will say that to her face and have. She told my husband that they never do partial refills on xanex when he was standing there with an empty bottle showing it was only partially filled. Then she said they didn't have any. My husband didn't give up so she finally filled it. She will look you straight in the eye and lie. The kind of employee everyone wants right? They have to many customers so they don't care about anyone who goes there. Your a pain in their day and they treat you like it. Never again! read more

It's a Walgreens, so there's only so much to say about it. Basically, it met expectations, but didn't exceed anything. We came in after an ER visit for my husband. They had 2 of the 3 prescriptions filled and ready to go which was excellent. The third, the doctor had entered incorrectly and they were completely unwilling to contact the doctor for clarification, simply claiming they couldn't fill it and we'd need to contact the doctor ourselves and come back when everything was worked out (again following an ER visit). The staff wasn't unprofessional or rude. They were simply cold and matter-of-fact. Not an asset in their industry. The store itself is nice. I'd probably give it a higher rating if it wasn't for the attitude of their pharmacy staff (Walgreen's is a pharmacy first and foremost, so I don't have much sympathy for a poor operation in that area). Unfortunately, big box pharmacies in the mid-cities are pretty crappy and this one didn't stray from that. read more

I go to this store at least one per week. I have been going here regularly for at least ten years. However, the changes Walgreens has made has made this store a shambles of what it was. It has gone downhill rapidly since Covid. They used to keep regular staff longer. Several of the cashiers who were there for years have disappeared. The pharmacy often cannot find prescriptions or they say something is not there when they literally texted and said it was ready for pick up. Yesterday, my doctor called in an RX, and I got a text saying there were insurance issues. I called store only to get routed to who knows where (a major problem with Walgreens right now). I spoke to someone who had no idea what they were doing then transferred me to someone else. I was on hold about ten minutes to be told the medicine was out of stock. So, first can't get it because of insurance and then told it's out of stock. Found medicine at another pharmacy and asked them to transfer RX. Walgreens told that pharmacy they couldn't transfer it because it didn't have refills. So, a brand new RX that they can't or won't fill can't be transferred either?!! Holy heck Walgreens. You are seconds away from losing a very loyal customer. I am definitely going to try another pharmacy because you just cannot get it together on this at all!!!! read more

I came to get my Covid-19 testing that was set for 10:30am, I arrived at 10:20am, had to wait 25 minutes before I could even be serviced & an extra 3-5 before I was even acknowledged at the window. Then I was told that because my insurance information wasn't on file I needed to provide a card, I even offered to pay using my HSA card, in which she didn't want to even do. I told her that we just switched insurances and all I had was the information on my phone, she suggested I go print it out and bring it to her or schedule another appointment and which I just said I'll schedule because she wasn't trying to help me anways. Then of course there aren't anymore appointments today, this is inconvenient and ridiculous and your workers could be a little more compassionate! read more

This review is for the store and not the pharmacy section (although I've always had good experiences with the pharmacy). They are open 24 hours and are busy no matter what time you go in. Tonight I was on a quest for a fever thermometer. The young lady at the checkout counter said that they could not keep them in stock; however, I could order one to be shipped to the store, and they would hold it for me. I appreciated her effort to keep my business with Walgreens, but I ended up going elsewhere because I needed one right away. This store is always clean and well maintained. The employees are friendly and helpful, for the most part. The shelves are frequently bare of items that are required during the pandemic, and I wish they would pay attention to their order points and levels. All in all, I enjoy this Walgreens. I just wish I knew I could consistently count on them to have the products that I need. read more

Sadly Walgreens is a mess. I have a prescription I have to cal the pharmacist each month a few days before it is to be ready. From repeated horrible experiences, I know I have to personally drive to Walgreens to make sure they ordered it and will have it ready when I need it ready. Inevitably Walgreens doesn't have it in stock. Their system is so poorly set up Walgreens has become a horrible place to buy prescriptions. As a person who buys stock in companies I also know Walgreens isn't a viable business long term. read more

Quick one, customer service issue. The Walgreens in Colleyville Tx. is ok for getting the correct medicine to its customers, but the service is pretty bad. I have gone in there many times in the past and noticed nobody is there to greet me. The drive through is clogged with cars and nobody is attending them? I peeked my head around the corner and it looked like 4 or five people clickity clacking on their computers but nobody was serving anyone? Odd? Usually, in any business, you are told the customer comes first. 5 minutes later one of them finally decides to go to the drive through and take care of 1 customer. That person goes back to the computer with the other 3 or 4 and hits the key board clicity- clackity, mean while in the lobby a long line is forming, and a good 8 more minutes one finally decides to greet us. This 24-hour location won't provide a restroom "because of Covid-19" but a hacking checkout clerk with her mask pulled down to expose her nose seems to be permissable. Two stars only because it's open around the clock, though you may need to shoot off a flare to get service. read more

I have been coming to this location literally since I was a child. But tonight, June 5, 2022 roughly 1:15am, was the first time I've ever felt alienated at a store that over the years has gotten thousands of dollars from me. I hate large consumer maze's such as Walmart or Costco or who ever! That is why I do the majority of my shopping needs, such as hygiene, hair care products, medical prescriptions , etc, at Walgreens. I love it but tonight was the first time I thought of leaving and going across the street to the neighborhood Walmart. I came to the store to purchase Benadryl. My allergies have been insane lately and I ran out of mine. The cashier, and please I won't mention names, seemed to not know what HE was doing. The customer in front of me was trying to pay not realize that it was a chip reader. So swiping away and away and again away before th GENTLEMAN at the register suggested the chip reader. Ok so being in the service and retail business, I have a very good understanding on how the POS(point of sale) works. So swiping your debit, credit card or whatever so many times, if the security protocol is any good, would register all those attempts as suspicious. Low and behold the POS freezes , with me standing next in line with my Twix ice cream melting. The employees training was inadequate in my opinion. Both this technical skill and customer service skill. Finally the manager tells the employee to go to another register. Now I've been here longer than efficiency stands for. The purchase is finally made!! Close to fifteen minutes later. My turn. Ok I said before my allergies have been terrible so I'm there really to just purchase the medication but I always seem to walk out with more than I intended. The cashier rings my medication and asks, may I see your ID? What??? For what? Then he explains to me that is for the Benadryl. Listen, I'm 37 years old and I've never ever been asked that before for an over the counter medication. Let alone Benadryl. The employee starts to get rude with me for questioning that. I'm not opposed to showing my ID but in the 21st century, I hardly carry a wallet around and my ID is usually in the car and I pay with apple pay . The inconvenience was something so shocking that I felt the need to review this store( my store). I nearly walked out. The service from this particular employee needs some work. Whatever though. I'll most likely still come in because I'm very big on brand loyalty. The ruler's of Walgreens please take note. read more

Not sure what all the hullabaloo is about this pharmacy. Then again, my standard for pharmacies is to get the job done. I always get prompt, courteous service - and it's 24 hours to boot! Props to the Asian pharmacist (Natalia?) that handles my hypochondriac questions like a pro. Even when I feel like I am asking the dumbest question in all of mankind, her poker face is impenetrable. My doc called in a script for Tamiflu yesterday, along with a cough suppressant. I was close to the end of the 72-hour window where Tamiflu is reportedly effective after catching the flu. I got a recorded phone call shortly there after, citing some issue with my insurance on one of the two scripts. They asked for a call back, or if no one calls they will continue processing. I tried to call back, but after being on hold for 15+ minutes (and being told by a recording I was next in line), I gave up, thinking they would do as they said and contact me. I should have known. It's now more than 24-hours later, and no one has contacted me. No one. I'm now past the Tamiflu window. I'm so done with the low-budget service provided by my local Walgreens, I'm taking my business to Market Street. read more

I WILL NEVER GO TO A WALGREENS AGAIN! I was at this particular Walgreens to purchase 2 gifts cards on Feb 13th for a Valentine's gift for my hubby! First of all, I had some photos printed and tried to purchase the photos & gift cards at the photo register. The young lady was unable to ring up the cards and asked assistance from the manager. When I was attempting to make the purchase-the "system" took my payment for all of the items, then the manager told me that the Home Depot card could not be activated and ask me to give him the card back and rerun the credit card. I asked him at that point if I was being charged for the HP card. He replied no that the "system" made a mistake and it only charged me for the one card. To my surprise when I reached home and checked my bank account-I was charged for both gift cards. Short story-I had to wait 3 to 5 days to get my money returned due to a "system" error and a manager who throughout the entire process never the first time apologized for this!!! Pulled up to pick up my daughter's meds at 1:28. They ignored us until 1:31 and then got on the speaker to say they were on a lunch break from 1:30 to 2 and I'd need to come back. "All three of you are on a lunch break until 2?" No response to that. She just repeated that I'd have to come back after 2. They are always slow but they aren't usually this aggressively rude. read more

Go to the CVS just down the street at Harwood and Central. This is the worst pharmacy and pharmacy staff I've ever dealt with. They consistently send my prescription to the wrong pharmacy, and today did it. I went in to pick up a prescription that I physically brought the hard copy of to get filled and they lost it. Even lost the hard copy!! The girl at the window asked me 3 times if I was sure I dropped it off at that location. Yes, I'm not an idiot and I know where I dropped off my prescription. Up until today this is the only pharmacy we used. You lose my prescription and then question me? Yeah, I'm done. Don't waste your time with this location. It's more headache than you want. The friendly pharmacy staff gets 5 big stars from me! Deborah in particular! I was in the drive thru picking up a prescription but there was an issue with my insurance. She was very patient, knowledgable and friendly while trying to resolve my issue--all the while some impatient customers were being incredibly rude to the staff. I went inside as to not hold the line up at the drive thru and Deborah still remained as friendly as could be. She resolved my issue and I went on my way. (I should mention that I was at CVS prior to this and was continually dismissed by the staff). Thank you Deborah!! read more

This rating is only for the Photo Department--they are AWESOME!! Dylan and Erick, both managers, really, really came through when I was having difficulties getting my project printed correctly! There seemed to be a discrepancy between what I saw on the computer and what they came to them. As we worked through the editing, Dylan stayed on the phone and checked things with me--he even called again when he noticed something that I hadn't!
