I was really impressed with the staff interaction I had today. I was looking for a certain item and the employee checked the backroom and was able to tell me other stores that had the item in stock. The pharmacy is horrendous here! My wife needs medicine for her sickness and Urgent Care called it into this Walgreens at 9:00am this morning. We went at about 9:10am and the man working there told us we just opened and don't know what's what yet. He said come back in about 20 minutes and we'll have it ready. We came back and he told us we're short handed could you please come back later? It is now noon. We are here and this idiot is completely lost! He still doesn't have it ready and I saw him turn down several people in front of us as well. My wife needs this medicine promptly and I'm going to make a scene if he doesn't have it ready this afternoon! Utterly incompetent people in this pharmacy! DO NOT COME HERE!! They should actually tear this entire Walgreens down and build a modern one to keep up with the times! read more

Pharmacy needs a lot of improvement. we moved to another Walgreens because Pharmacy at Hopkins crossroad and Highway 7 is unreliable and not helpful. I use drive up window as it is more convenient for me, but it is often closed because no pharmacist on duty or short of customer service people. read more

Worst of the worst. Takes me 2 or 3 trips to get my meds. Either they are a day late, only a partial fill available or nobody in the pharmacy so it's closed. Very nice people supported by garbage information systems. Second time in a row that I requested a refill online only to have it get stuck at order confirmation. Tried to call...was on hold 40 minutes and then disconnected. So I went to the store. They acknowledged that the order got stuck in the central system, again, and they had no visibility of it. I was told that the best way to communicate with them is to come into the store...their systems are not reliable. Really? You do know this 2023 right? Have you heard of Amazon? Made an appointment to get flu shot online. An hour after my appointment time, I'm still waiting in line to check in. The same 5 people in line ahead of me when I arrived are still there. There are about 6 employees behind the counter who keep shuffling back and forth aimlessly. Lady who is especially aggressive and loud gets to go to the front of the line. This location of Walgreens is the closet location to where I live. It is a super convenient store that has a lot of stuff for you when you're in a pinch. It also has a pharmacy for you to pick up your prescriptions that is very handy. With all that in mind this location is convenient but is lacking in almost every department. First off to start with the store, this store is not kept up and is usually on the dirty side. Everytime we come in here the floors are dirty, items on the shelves are thrown about, and the store it's self is just old and somewhat run down. They are out of items a lot of the times and if you ever ask them if they have anything in the back they just glare at you and say no. I had someone go to the backroom once and came out a few seconds later and said no. This is store is only convenient when they have all their items stocked on the shelf. The worse part about this location is the employees. I rarely have a good experience with any of the staff. They are very unhelpful, not happy to be there, and just don't seem like they care about their jobs. They never want to help you find items, they drop your items you're purchasing into the bags uncaringly, they roll their eyes at you when you ask questions, and just a thousand other instances. There are certain employees here that when I walk in I already know I'm in for poor service. Overall this location is a run down store that has a poor staff to match. The redeeming qualities are that they are a convenient corner store and our experience with the pharmacy has been good. If you don't need to come here I would say to go across the street to Lunds or a few blocks down to Target. read more

Convenience... Pretty simple it's close to home. You might pay a little more but sometimes your time is more important. I can get my staple travel supplies, mascara, and greeting cards. They have a decent selection of gift cards. This location has a red box and cash machine! The pharmacy techs are very helpful. I like the automated pharmacy for your prescription refills. read more

I would like to thank the lady at the pharmacy who was very helpful when I spent four hours trying to track down amoxicillin for my son back around the end of October. I was very tired after work and errands and frustrated that no Walgreens' had it in stock. She was very pleasant in the drive thru and seemed genuinely caring for my son to feel better soon. read more

Your basic Walgreens...over-stuffed with a wide variety of items that go well beyond your typical pharmacy items. Their private-label "Nice" brand offers nicely discounted (no pun intended) generic versions of foods and household items. I prefer the Walgreens at the corner of Louisiana and Cedar Lake to serve as my pharmacy. read more

I had a 2:30 appointment for a covid vaccine. I was made to wait in line with all the pharmacy customers. I waited till 3:30 and still was not at the front of the line.I finally just left. It wasn't that there was a long line...the staff just seemed like we weren't a priority. Most of the time only 1 of 3 registers was open. I watched 2 people leave for breaks while we all just waited in line for someone to come back to open a register. It felt like a bad day at the DMV! I stopped in a HyVee the next day, and they had me in for my vaccine within 5 minutes, and I didn't even have an appointment! Yeah, it's the "worst" Walgreens, a reeeeeal dump....rme Not really. It's clean, the prices are what you SHOULD expect at a Walgreens or CVS type store and well stocked. Somethimes the pharmacy lines are long, but most of the time they're not. Long lines are more common at the front check out (I see threeeeee!!!!!) but most of the time it's a quick in and out (phrasing!) All in all it's convenient, close by and the hours are great. read more

Store is under-staffed, under poor management, staff is over-worked to the point they don't care. Poor service every single time I walk in the door - not to mention the online pharmacy is incorrect almost always, have received wrong medications, other people's medications! We have been visiting this Walgreens for over a year with our service dog. Last night out of the blue the clerk asked us to leave and accused us of having a fake service dog. She claimed that she trained service dogs, was an expert, and that we would be fined if we did not leave. We asked to speak to a manager and were told to go down the aisle and find him. This complaint will go up the ladder and we will get an apology. She needs to study the ADA. She violated several of the rules in one attempt to be important. read more

My husband and I called this store ahead of time, about 30 minutes, to make sure they could take our passport photos. Upon arrival, we were told by the man behind the photo counter that their system for passport pictures was down and has been since Sunday. We annoyingly let me him know they we had just called and was told we could indeed get our passport photos completed. He then proceeded to tell us that we must have called another store. We said we didn't and I told him that he should make sure everyone in the store was aware that their system was down. As we headed toward the exit, he said, "Well, you didn't talk to me." I am utterly surprised by their lack of customer service and unprofessionalism. I would expect that he would at least apologize for our inconvenience. I did double check when we got home to make sure we did not call the another store. We didn't. We received this terrible customer service on November 11th at 8:00 PM. read more

Worst Walgreens. This place is a dump. The worst thing about this Walgreens is the prices at the register don't match the signs. You can either wait an additional 10 minutes for them to check the price or just pay it and move on. Keep in mind you already been waiting for 10 minutes and everyone behind you is real pissy so don't hold up the line, just pay extra and go. Charging extra is like stealing from me.
