I agree with the previous reviewer, the pharmacy staff is very incompetent and lacks any form of customer facing training

However, when candle day came along this year, they had all of the new candles including the pop up collection that was released just for candle day. I was so excited!! It was held for three days this year due to COVID19. I think they were trying to spread out the crowds but it didn't work. Most stores were pretty much sold out early Saturday, as was online. I had that Friday off so I went fairly early and was able to get what I wanted. I had two gift cards and it didn't cost me a dime out of pocket, yay! I was disappointed in the candle day price this year as it was raised to 9.95. Used to be 8.95. Fortunately I did have a coupon to help with that. Now, semiannual sale is happening. I love this sale for its 75% off deals. I went early and was first in the store. This sale is a big one and the truly good deals always sell out in a matter of hours. I am thrilled I was able to get some of these. I will admit I did go to another store in the afternoon to get a few other things I was looking for but I really went ham at Clifton park, haha. Thankfully, I had gotten gift cards for Christmas too which covered most of what I got. Woohoo! I love this store. I am not a collector, as I actually use my products. I love them. I'll never understand hoarding and letting them go to waste just for their packaging. Also, they have a nice selection of men's products. My boyfriend loves them so I regularly pick those up for him. I highly recommend this store; their associates are friendly and helpful and I am happy with my experience with customer service here. Happy shopping! Go check out this semiannual sale today! It's going on for a few more weeks and they will likely have different deals each week!

Absolutely terrible return policy. I received a very thoughtful gift from a friend this holiday…read moreseason - over $80 in Sephora products. The problem? I can't use any of it. They are all wonderful products but I already own those products and by the time I would be done with the old products, these new products would have expired. I hoped to exchange the brand new products for either a store credit or something else I could use, such as shampoo, etc. Sephora's policy does not allow returns without a receipt or gift receipt. I was told I either needed to inform my friend what she thoughtfully picked out was of no use to me and that I needed a receipt or basically throw out $80 worth of good, untouched, sealed products. So basically tell my friend "hey, your Christmas present was TERRIBLE," which would definitely have hurt her feelings. $80 worth of products down the drain. The corporate greed has gotten out of hand. I have been a faithful Sephora customer for over 2 decades. In more than 20 years I have made less than 5 returns. I would understand it if I was someone who was chronically abusing their return policy, but that is not the case. This is ridiculous. I will not be supporting this corporation moving forward. To not even offer store credit when the products are clearly sealed and untouched is WILD. Not only this, but their 2025 Christmas commercial with Mariah Carey not caring about the elf/worker being able to afford therapy because he's overworked was straight up tone-deaf and bizarre. Sephora basically said 'blush is more important than supporting our employees.' I don't what has happened to Sephora in the past few months, but their return policy is the nail in the coffin. I will be purchasing directly from the makeup brands themselves moving forward.

This store has seen better days…read more Years and years (and years) ago, this was one of my go-to stores for many items, chief among these were men's clothing and housewares. But the "feel" in some of these areas has gone downhill; a few times while I was walking around, I had to remind myself I wasn't in Marshall's. But the experience here is not all bad. Their curtain selection still remains among the best anywhere I've shopped, and they continue to be my go-to store at least for those. I suppose you could call all the cracks in the floor tiles "artistic," but I expect it's too much of an expense to repair those. Unlike some of the chains considered more of a bargain, the shelves here were always well stocked and in order. The problem in many cases is that a lot of items just are not competitive in price, and it's less incentive for the customer to have to go online to obtain a coupon for a discount, as per signs on many shelves throughout the store. I'm glad this store is still open, because I do want to consider it as an option. But... for how much longer??

This is the second time we've come into this store to get family and children photos done. The…read morefirst time we came in, there were two photographers in the same room, one of which seemed to have experience, and the other did not. You can guess which one we had. (I should preface that I used to work for a photography studio, so I DO have some credentials here). This was not a time to be training someone, when a family of 3 with one very young child comes in, during a busy day right before a holiday. Neither of the photographers had any idea what to do in terms of ideas, or props, or any way to get our daughter to smile. Very limited in terms of how many shots you get, regardless of whether the pictures would have great or not. I counted at least a dozen photos that would have been fantastic, IF the photographer had not had the camera face down in her lap. Today, we went in, hoping that maybe things would be different on a quiet day, and now our family has grown to 2 children, but essentially the same thing happened. Except we had 1 photographer in the room, which is fine, but the same issues applied. No attempt to bring props out for them, or any real posing ideas when one didn't work. I understand that when its just the kids, we as parents are free to help get them to smile or laugh, but i'm still unsure how to do that while being IN the photo. Afterwards, felt very pressured to sign up for the jcpenny photos membership. The sitting fee is also ridiculous. $20/person regardless of age or whether we got photos. It seems that there is minimal effort put in when they know they have your money just for showing up. Will be going to iSmile or a similar place in the future, where there are no sitting fees, (and because of that, the photographers seem to WANT to get good photos for you, since that's how the business makes money), and anytime we've walked by, everyone seems trained on how to take photos of kids. i.e. HAVE THE CAMERA READY AT ALL TIMES TO TAKE A PICTURE, SINCE KIDS ARE UNPREDICTABLE.
