I cannot express how poorly this location is operated. I will NEVER do business here again. Crappy service and poor employee attitude.

Went to pickup 3 prescriptions, 2 were supposed to be out of stock. When I asked the lady at the drive in she gave me two different answers and blamed my doctors office. Called my doctors office and they got ahold of the pharmacy. Called the pharmacy on Monday and they had the wrong medication, doctors office called again to correct. Picked up the prescriptions and when I got home noticed that they had given me the prescription that I had told them I did not need. This was two weeks to the date my doctors office called in the prescriptions. Went to take back what they filled in error and since I left the location they would not return the drugs. I have never dealt with such incompetence in my life. This is not the first time I received phone messages that there was a delay in my prescription and then going myself to check on it and the prescription was ready. I will never step a foot back in that store. There are other pharmacies out there and I will sure be moving all my business to one of them. It was hard to even give them one star. read more

I could not wait to write this review. This got to be the worst Walgreens ever. First, they don't know their own Pharmacy hours. One employ over the phone tells you that they are open Saturday and Sunday and another tells you that they are not open on Saturday. When you drive over there you find out that they are not. A prescription for oxycodone was sent there on Thursday, and I did not get it the late Monday. I kept calling, and the automated system kept saying that they are working on it. Keep in mind that I am in terrible pain. I finally called and talk to someone. They told me to come pick it up in an hour. Of course that drive through was not open so I had to go in. I am having a hard time standing up and walking. When I get there I find huge line. This is what I was afraid of. I was in such a pain waitingfor my turn. They did not even ask me if I need to talk to the pharmacist. This drug is an opioid. Shouldn't someone talk to me; especially, that I never had this drug before. No wonder Melanie Tswitched to Fred Meyer Pharmacy. I will do the same. read more

I have a pick-up order they will be cancelling since I don't get a chance to even enter the store and I see this location is now temporarily closed. Not sure when they will re-open. read more

Beware, I have spent over 9 hours on hold with this store trying to fill a script that they messed up (no not a narcotic just a basic antibiotic). The pharmacy staff are ridiculously incompetent. I send a prescription for refill and the women with piercing states they don't have it, it's for 1 antibiotic and I received message that it was ready. No the women at pharmacy said I need to wait 40 min because there are two people on cue- after I ordered it on phone and spoke to a pharmacy staff. They have also messed up vaccinations. This is by far the worst pharmacy I've ever been too staff are so disrespectful staff stand around using foul language in front of customers the one tech with brown hair and is short has such a disgusting and nasty attitude with customers I definitely will be changing pharmacies so save your time and don't bother using them for any prescriptions you may need filled because they will end up turning you away because there TOO BUSY! All that time wasted. Against my own will I call back bc I have been given 150 count of Lasix w/o any Potassium?!?! That's 1st 3months of nursing, pharmacy or medical school knowledge. I'm now told that at 6pm the pharmacy is now closed! Someone is going to have to die from a mistake in this untenable situation w/health care. At the very least for those that are still working in healthcare-please do your due diligence for each patient before you move on to the next-AND for heaven's sake when you pick up a phone line, Check if someone is holding before you cavalierly hang up. This is a huge Walgreens. Much bigger than the one in Gladstone I think. We eat at a place nearby so Walgreens is convenient for us. We only get smaller items usually snacks. Makes munchies easier. No one wants to go to a mega store for a bag of chips! The staff is always helpful and cheerful. The parking lot is good. Always a spot up front to the door. The exit to the street is a little tricky but doable. read more

I tested positive for COVID 19 the day after Christmas. I am 67 and high risk. I contacted the clinic in Gresham, and after a phone appointment, they prescribed PAXLOVID. I don't drive, and my daughter doesn't have a car,and tested positive too. A Walgreens pharmacist went out of his way for me, and arranged Door Dash to deliver my prescription. He was wonderful with his helpfulness, and calling to let me know it was on the way, and telling the delivery person to tell me to take it with food. I was picking up my prescription in drive thru window around 9:05 am and there is two people inside not even looking or saying something to me. I was there waiting 20min and nothing they are not even looking on the window bad location 223 and Glisan need to improve there drive thru system. Hoping or at least say something to us. This Walgreens by far is my favorite one in the Gresham/ Troutdale area. It is kind of out of my way but I will come here when I need a RX filled that I need the same day. The Store employees are friendly and alway greet you when you enter the door. The pharmacy service here is top notch. I can drop something off and usually get it filled in around 20 minutes. The pharmacy techs are friendly and helpful. I was here a few days ago and the tech called several other stores to locate some special eye drops for me that I needed filled. The pricing is comparable to other places. I come here for the fast, reliable service and the friendly faces. read more

Waited in store for an hour and half for a prescription that I was told would take half an hour. I then waited in line to find out if my prescription was ready and I was told yes. I paid for it and was told to wait for the pharmacist for consultation. I waited another half hour, then asked if I could have my prescription and was told no because the pharmacist has to talk to me. i split with nothing. earlier that morning I had oral surgery and the antithetic started tapering off and pain was setting in. Those guys have no compassion or empathy and have no business being in the careers they chose. They have my antibiotics that I paid for, but wouldn't give them to me. i Don't have a copy of the prescription to go somewhere else. read more

I called a week ago to get established with Walgreens - transferring everything from Fred Meyer in Gresham to Walgreens on corner of Hogan & Burnside. The lady I spoke with said she would call and get my entire prescription history transferred over. I was overjoyed. Today my doctor sent in a new prescription to Fred Meyer, so I called Walgreens to see if they could grab it. 1) I couldn't understand the guy and he couldn't understand me, 2) come to find out, no one had moved anything over. I said thanks but no thanks and hung up. Where is a good Pharmacy in Gresham?? Fred Meyer used to be good before that store began hemorrhaging employees. read more

Pharmacist is horrible. Sounds like he absolutely HATES his job and can't stand when anyone asks for advice or assistance. Called and asked for advice on best medication for impacted stool, she was in so much pain for over an hour we were seconds from going to the ER. He seemed annoyed that I called and even more so annoyed that I was asking for help. He eventually suggested a suppository which my grandmother rushed to get. I visited this Walgreens store for the first time. I am very impressed with the pharmacy services provided to customers. Both the technician and the pharmacist worked as fast as they could to accommodate all the customers and were courteous and helpful. I will spread the good words to my family and friends. read more

Let me start by saying that I fully understand the huge opioid crisis and Walgreens concerns about it. I have little issue with a pharmacist calling my doctor to "verify" my prescription that I just handed to him in the form of a water marked hard paper copy. I don't totally get the rationale when he is not my doctor, or any kind of doctor, and there are no red flags such as multiple prescriptions from different doctors, but fine if he wants. *I must also note that I always use the same doctor and same pharmacy. The point when I get SERIOUSLY IRRITATED is when the pharmacist decides to hold up my prescription for hours waiting for a diagnosis from my doctor before he'll fill my prescription. None of this is communicated to me by phone or text or smoke signals. I only find out by going to the pharmacy to see what's going on. I am then told about the pharmacist's request and that my doctor's office is the problem because they won't release my diagnosis without me filling out a release of information form. So, I call my doctor's office and they inform me that I can come by and fill it out but THERE IS NO REASON FOR MY PHARMACIST TO HAVE MY DIAGNOSIS and the only reason I have to fill out said form is because this information is protected by HIPPA and the corporation Walgreens had no need for it. In the end, I got my paper script back from the over-stepping pharmacist that wants to play doctor and went elsewhere to have it filled but only after hours of my time was wasted. So, to Mr. Walgreens pharmacist on 223rd & Glisan- while I value the ROLE of a pharmacist and their knowledge of medications because I am a licensed medical professional myself, I don't appreciate or respect you questioning what my doctor and I have decided is best for my care. I feel that pharmacists have a valuable role and often catch mistakes doctors may make unknowingly regarding drug interactions or know a better suited antibiotic,etc. but you have no need for my medical DIAGNOSIS. If my doctor thinks I need X drug for a pain in my knee, asshole, face, etc, your job doesn't change. I.e. If you did know why I needed pain medication it wouldn't change your job of filling what the DOCTOR ORDERED. That is way out of your SCOPE OF PRACTICE and I think Walgreens needs to reexamine their policy of allowing such ridiculous unnecessary prodding into an INDIVIDUAL'S PERSONAL MEDICAL INFORMATION especially when it is done on an irregular IRRATIONAL basis and in the end has no effect on the opioid crisis. Ps- they only get 2 stars because the rest of the store doesn't suck. Otherwise I would've put negative 2 read more

I'm new to the state of Oregon and I haven't had my fair share of run ins with "friendly" store clerks since moving to the PDX area. This Walgreens obviously knows a thing or two about customer service, and trains their employees VERY well! Always have everything I need, everything is almost always in stock, as stated...very friendly cashiers, and store clerks always more than willing to give a helping hand or answer questions when I need it. read more
