Stopped in to look at gift cards. They have a decent selection and a few more $10 options than other places. An employee asked me if I was finding everything okay, which I'm pretty sure they are supposed to do when they pass by customers. Never ever go here for a prescription, took forever in line, then she said 15 to 20 minutes so then went and asked again, she said 20 to 30 minutes more! Waited almost an hour still not ready! Just came from Dr, in so much pain, no one was waiting in area, the whole time! Finally asked for prescription from Dr. And left! I did tell the Lady at desk I was in pain, she said she would tell them to hurry! NEVER will I ever go to Walgreens again, and warn everyone to go somewhere else!!! read more

Amoungst the worst RX service I have ever seen. I watched other drivers complain. Did no good. 1. I called confirmed my RX was ready for pick up. 2. waited patiently, (about 1 hour) before getting to the window. 3. Press call button told to wait. 10 mins later asked to give name. 4. 10 + min latter I press 'button' wait and I am told, "We can't find one of your medicines. 5. Continue Waiting, another 10 mins go by, "crickets". I press the button. 'can I help you?' Really? She says hold on a minute...We are very busy,.... we still can't find you rx... 6. After not quite 90 mins I get my rx, but the auto renew for my other medications I am told has been turned off. Why? Sadly this is not the first time, they just don't care, and when things go wrong which is often they blame the refill service or someone else...fewwwww.... Conclusion: It's not just the wait, it's, there lack of follow through and constant errors, e.g., lost medicine, rx not filled when ordered, lots of little things which just add up to terrible service. I see these other reviews an they are true... and I am not alone.... This much poor service can't be an accident; my message, " if you don't like your customers, your job, your manager, fine DON'T TAKE YOUR RESENTMENT OUT ON US, THE CUSTOMER! I'm giving the pharmacy 1 star as you can't really give them -stars. This pharmacy is an absolute nightmare. They don't call you when it's ready when you come back to get your medication at the time they had told you originally, there is some issue. I've had to call my insurance and make sure the pharmacy had every thing their hearts desired to fill my prescription, only to wind up finding out the pharmacy was given all the proper paperwork/authorizations and it was the pharmacy holding up the process. Cheese and crackers, people get your acts together!! When you call the pharmacy you get the call center and Paul in the call center is mean and rude. You don't even talk to someone in the store pharmacy, so no wonder they have no clue. If you do talk with someone in the pharmacy, they still are clueless. I suggest run, don't walk, anywhere else but here. read more

Frequent Pharmacy Issues: I have been coming to this location for the past 5 years and they seem to be going downhill fast. I called today to verify if my son's medication would be ready today around 2:30 pm and they told me it would be ready for pick up in 45 minutes. I sent my mother-in-law over there to pick it up around 315 pm and she was told they don't have it available. They would have to call around and see what other Walgreens has it in stock. This would have been nice to know when we called the first time. This is the 3rd time they have told us to come pick up medication around a certain time and it is either not ready or they do not have it available. They never call us to let us know and when the only reason we find out it is because we physically go down there to pick it up. I hope a manager reads this complaint and tries to correct whatever issue or person that is causing these inconveniences. read more

Checked in at the Walgreens Pharmacy for a flu shot. The person took all of my information and had me take a seat. I was called up to the Consulting Window, and the person told me my insurance did not recognize her as a person who could give me a shot. And if I wanted to wait, another person would be available in an hour. This was the second Pharmacy "dropped ball" in less than an hour I incurred. It wound have been helpful had the person that took my information had told me I had to wait, before taking my information. Ultimately, I went to the local Fry's Grocery store, signed in, filled out some quick paperwork, and was in and out in about 22 minutes - no fuss, no muss. Doesn't even deserve one star. Scripts promised in 30 minutes took over 4 hours to fill. It was not an insurance issue. Pharmacy techs are all laughing, talking, and kidding around while the line got longer and longer. Everyone was frustrated and angry. They have no sense of urgency nor any obvious form of customer service training. The asst manager finally came back to help, but not before taking a smoke break outside. Unfortunately, he was no better. He had The personality of a limp dishrag. No smiling, no apologies for the long wait, no empathy. If my insurance didn't dictate me filling my scripts here I would go elsewhere read more

We have been using this pharmacy for several years because of insurance and location reasons. However, if you have a choice, you should take your prescriptions elsewhere. We are a family with young kids so unfortunately we have need for prescriptions fairly frequently. Nearly every single time we get one filled there is some sort of issue. Once we had two of the same exact prescriptions called in by the doctor, for two separate kids (twins, different names, same birthdate obviously). Initially the pharmacy assumed one prescription must have been a mistake and rather than contact the doctor to verify, just didn't fill it, until I called to check on it and informed them it was not an error. Then, once it was finally filled, the instructions on the label were listed incorrectly for one child. Luckily I knew to expect that they should be getting the same dose and was able to verify with my pediatrician before administering the drug. Another time, someone keyed in the prescription wrong to the insurance system, so the insurance rejected it, and the prescription just apparently sat in No-Man's Land until I finally called and talked to a real person, who was able to review the details and found the error. Up to that point I had received several texts from the automated system saying it was in-process and would be ready soon... Today, I needed an Rx for my daughter, which had again been called in by the doctor. I delayed an hour on the way home and went to check on it, hoping that would give them enough time to fill it (to avoid another load up of sick kids). When I got to the window the pharmacist curtly looked in her system and told me it wasn't ready and they were working on it. So, I went home and waited another 2 hours. At this point it was dangerously close to bedtime, so I called in, and the automated system again reported it was in process. So I waited to talk to a person. The first person that picked up reported that the Rx was in process and should be ready by 6:00PM. It was 6:55PM at the moment she reported that to me. Which I pointed out. So she put me on hold, and a pharmacist picked up. Finally, the pharmacist looked into it and said they had it right there, but "the computer system had gone down" so it would be ready in 15 minutes. I wish such instances were rare, but unfortunately it is always something at this location. If you have the option, try somewhere else. Or be prepared to wait, and if you call in, don't trust the automated system, insist on talking to a pharmacist. read more

Had a nightmare experience with cvs so went with what my instincts told me first (but I didn't listen) and used walgreens. They're printing my photos and the associate I spoke to was super friendly and had a great sense of humor. I recommend this location! read more

I went in there tonight for some medicine for my sick child. I was unable to find a generic brand of children's allergy medicine, but Julie found some for me. Turns out I was looking on the wrong aisle. She was very professional and sweet. I checked out with Kathrine and she was such a sweetheart as well. I will definitely be returning! I had a very bad experience dealing with the pharmacy here. I refilled a medication and was told my insurance said it was too soon to refill it. No problem, I called back about 10 minutes later and spoke to a different person asking if I could fill my medication and pay out of pocket. He said it was no problem at all and it would be ready as soon as I got here. So I drove half an hour over here as I don't live close to this Walgreens anymore and when I got here I went through the drive through and was rudely greeted by a young woman. She told me it was too early to fill my prescription and I told her that I knew that but I had spoken to someone and he had told me I could pay for it out of pocket. She essentially accused me of lying and said that the pharmacist was standing next to the woman I had spoken with and said that it was too early to fill the prescription. She was extremely rude, extremely condescending and because of her horrible customer service I will never return to this Walgreens again. read more

WORST PHARMACY EVER! Don't waste your time. Every single time I come here there is an issue and they are the only pharmacy either open 24hr, or where the ins allows us to fill the meds. On NYE we went here to fill Tamiflu. Of course they didn't have it and had no clue when they would get it in. Still to this day over a month later they have never filled it. Of course we are over the flu now but they didn't even bother to fill the RX. Now I attempted to bring in a RX for my son that the ins requires me to take to Walgreens. I give it to them and they tell me it will be 25 minutes. 45 minutes later I go to get the medicine and they tell me they don't have it in stock. Really? They couldn't tell me that 45 min ago or any time over the past 45 min? A few months ago I tried to take the same RX in and they claimed it wasn't covered yet when i contacted the ins they said it was. Then when I told them it was they changed their story and said they didn't have the brand name medication in stock. Seems they never have the brand name medicine which is a specific requirement of the ins to fill it for brand but it pays at the discounted generic price. Wondering if this is a scam by Walgreens, because they can then get paid more then what they contracted with the ins for, when it gets denied. If I wasn't forced to go to Walgreens, by the ins then I would never set foot in their store again. read more

I'm not shocked to see that other customers have the same issues with this Walgreens pharmacy. I was sent here by my doctor after being diagnosed with pneumonia and my regular Walgreens being closed at the time. Already sick, I waited in line for 30 minutes to be told that my prescription wasn't ready and to come back in 30 minutes. I came back an hour later and waited in the drive thru for 45 (not one car moved, how does that even happen?!) I decided to bite the bullet and go inside. By this time I have a migraine. I've now waited an additional 30 minutes, there are still 6 people ahead of me (I forgot to mention, I'm in line as we speak) and thanks to my Walgreens app I know that I'm only even going to be picking up 2/3 prescriptions that I was prescribed. I have to get up for work tomorrow and it's almost midnight. I couldn't imagine a more miserable night, thanks for nothing Walgreens. read more

Terrible experience I had to get a prescription transferred from Walmart. I called to get it transferred and ended up speaking with that stupid call center that they have set up now. The person who took the transfer request completely messed it up and put in the transfer request from a different Walmart. So obviously my prescription was not transferred when I asked. I got a callback from them that said that Walmart doesn't have my prescription so I made an error and call them back. I got off work about 10 minutes prior to Walmart closing so I called Walgreens again to make the transfer request and spoke again with the stupid call center who even if you put in a transfer request cannot do it if it's after a certain time. Luckily she was able to transfer me directly to the pharmacist which is who I should've been allowed to speak with the entire time and he was able to transfer the prescription I'm on my way there now to go pick it up fingers crossed that nothing else went wrong. PS Walgreens stop using the call center it's a horrible way to set things up I want to speak with someone local not someone in another state. read more

The store is fine but I would rather walk barefoot on shards of broken glass than have to use this pharmacy. Was in there tonight with my obviously sick child (who by the way was seen at urgent care at PCH in lightening fast time). Told 20 minutes and after the 20 was summoned to the counter only to get stuck behind a lady who was asking about possible refills on her husband's prescriptions which alone could have filled a drug store. Only one gal at the front to help. After 15 minutes of this the lady ran out of things to ask for and by now six people were in line. Then I was told the prescription I had wasn't covered by insurance even though another Walgreens filled it for another family member a few weeks ago without issue. When someone finally came from the back to help her they got it figured out. My next mistake (after coming here) was admitting my kid had not taken this medication before because then they made me wait 15 minutes to speak to a pharmacist. The pharmacist then came over and basically read the label to me. This experience took longer than my kid's entire visit to urgent care. Avoid this pharmacy like the Plague because by the time you get your stuff, the Plague will have wiped us all out read more
