I knew I was home now. I knew everything would be OK. But an adventure still awaited I approached slowly, and gently toed the black mat that activated the automated door. SHAZAM! I was in! Welcome to the journey through the riches of Pharamcia. The shiny white tile blinded me momentarily, the fluorescent lights made my skin a pallid, chalky, white. I walked ahead slowly, past the maiden standee selling lip plumper sublime. I edged through the kingdom of Maybellene and through the halls of Loreal. At every turn there was treasure to be found. Elixers of Old Spice and Bay Rum and powder from the faraway fiefdom of Talc. Foodstuffs a plenty! Indeed, Good and Plenty, and Pieces of Reeses and the silver clad Mint of Junior. Trinkets of the finest sort. A magical band from the land of Scrunchee and foot washing salves of eucalyptus and padded slippers from the wizardry of the Witch Doctor Scholl and unguarded salts from the mine of Epsom. And finally I traversed this gauntlet of finery, and found the wizards of white smocks dispensing the best of spices and herbs, but only with a written missive from the kings and other royalty who dained you worthy. To those so fortunate, small bottles in the color of orange were given with reverence in fine white paper vessels. May you visit this magical land some day, and find yourself enthralled. read more

We were so used to Riteaid at Cherry Creek, then followed to the Leetsdale location. Everyone was so nice, and the Pharmacy was always accurate, courteous, knowledgeable, everything a pharmacy should be. Unfortunately they closed and I transferred my prescriptions to Walgreens at 360 South Colorado Blvd, Denver. DO NOT TRUST THIS PHARMACY to get anything right, and above all do not expect courtesy, competence, or even a dredge of helpfulness. They have completely messed up every single order, made me come in person to renew prescription and told me I also had to come in person to start mail delivery of regular rx. When there, was told they only offer mail delivery "to a select former Riteaid customers." Well, guess I'm not on their "Select" preferred list. (Even though on the Walgreens website it clearly says "every refill ships for free." But that's ok, because they don't even place last on my preferred pharmacy list. They don't deserve any more of my business, prescription or otherwise. Today was the last straw, when calling to fill a new prescription they twice said the doctors office never called. I had to call my doctor two times then get their verified call out to this exact pharmacy 4 days ago, and still Walgreens says they never got it. They are either totally incompetent or liars trying to keep up and failing miserably. Find a new place for your prescriptions. Don't trust this incompetent crew to get anything right. read more

If I could give Jacob in the pharmacy zero stars I would. He was rude and refused to fill my urgently needed px because he said they were closing in 5 minutes. If a store is open until 6:00 pm doesn't that mean I should have been served until 6:00pm. He has no sympathy at all other than saying tough luck and laughing. Seems to me that he has chosen the wrong profession and needs to learn some manners. It is one thing to be closing but his attitude was disgusting and totally uncalled for. read more

Slowest pharmacy in the west- convenient to my home but it doesn't matter when you sit in the drive-up lane trapped and waiting forever. Was thinking about bringing my tools next time so I could change my oil & work on my car while in the drive-thru line. They have open contempt for their customers and treat you as if you were just a burden to their work day. And they obviously hate their jobs. Sucks that they take it out on customers. Here's a little snarky trick they play on customers- they tell you it will be 3-4 hours before your prescription is ready & then you get a robocall 20 min. later telling you it's ready for pick-up. After you are already home, where you could have run a couple errands locally for 15-20 min & picked up your meds. Infuriating, and they do it intentionally. Today, I had a TCS (travel) COVID test scheduled for my husband and I. I went on line and read all the information. When I got to 360 S. Colorado Blvd. I was greeted by a very an angry woman who yelled at me. When I spoke to her calmly she continued for some time in front of others and with the Pharmacy Manager standing behind her. Apparently, the manager allowed her to act that way and continue verbally abusing me. I was not given any directions, just disparaged for not following their procedure. So, I went to another facility who were happy to take care of me on the spot with kindness and respect. This is unacceptable! Now I know why we switched our perceptions to another pharmacy years ago. Do not go there! I certainly won't!!! A two star rating is too good for this place. The Manager and Staff should be Ashamed of theirselves for cruel and verbally abusive behavior. I am not in the business of giving bad reviews, however this must be make public!! Take heed everyone, there are lot's of other pharmacies in the neighborhood. My auto refill for diuretic was supposed to be ready on Nov 24, 2022. But with Walgreen's incompetence I was left with zero pills for 3 mornings. I dont feel well when I miss a pill, and I get vertigo sometimes with nausea if I miss two. So my pills were STILL NOT ready on November 28 at the Walgreens on Colorado Blvd and Alameda, Glendale area of Denver, CO. I assume that because it is an auto refill the blame does not totally rest on the Co Blvd store. But the small brained person on the phone could not think out of her tiny box. I explained the symptoms of missing my diuretic, and that someone was there to pick up my pills but they would be going to work for the rest of the day, and I CANNOT DRIVE. She could NOT get my pills then until the next morning if she left empty handed. Walgreen's SOLUTION- "It will be ready later today. Please call back" or she can mail it. YGTBFKM!! How do these people get jobs? WHY COULD SHE NOT USE HER BRAIN AND GIVE THE PERSON PICKING UP MY PILLS 1 dose. AND THEN THE NEXT MORNING SOMEONE COULD PICK UP THE REST OF MY PERSCRIPTION. It was Walgreens mistake, not mine. WHY IS THAT SO HARD? Beware of the very unhelpful and uncaring woman with the thick accent. She literally enjoyed giving me unhelpful options. Had to wait at the photo counter for 20 minutes before anyone came over to me, after I had asked for help. There was a lot of confusion in a process that should have been simple (reviewing and purchasing photos). I'd also suggest making sure they know how you want your photos printed (centering and etc.). There's nothing like receiving all your photos back with people's faces cut off, while there is an awkward amount of blank space on the other side of the printed photo, when they digital image they're sent is centered..... Not pleased. They also would not accept coupons that were on the products, on the shelves, then got upset when I pointed out they should probably take off coupons they won't accept. read more

I am disappointed every time I pick up my prescriptions! The young staff is so curt and act like they are doing you a great favor by answering basic questions. The management should cover customer service or treat their employees nicer so that it has a trickle down effect to the customers. I'm currently looking for another pharmacy to fill my monthly prescriptions. Life is too short to deal with bratty and rude staff. read more

Where do I begin? They filled prescriptions twice "by mistake" and called us to pick them up, and then said we couldn't have them because we'd already gotten them. We told them to re-shelf prescriptions that we didn't want to pay for/pick up, and they twice re-ordered them and called us to pick them up. The system didn't update our address or phone numbers properly. I could continue, but you get the point, right? In short, this place is a red-hot mess. We are switching asap. read more

Used the online photo printing tool at 8am, website said the photos would be ready for pickup after 10. I didn't receive an email so I went to the store at noon, and the lights were off and no one was available at the photo center. Pressed the call button and the manager responded, said that my photos hadn't been started yet, and printed them while I wandered around the store. Thought this must have been a one time occurrence, so two days later (today) when I had another need, I visited this store. Went to the pharmacy to pick up Naloxone - overdose reversal drug - for my first aid kit. The pharmacy tech didn't know what I was asking for, and when the pharmacist was called, he didn't look up from his computer and said, "you need a prescription." I informed him that, no, a prescription is not required per Colorado state standing orders for the drug and pursuant to the company's own website, and after doing some research he said, "you mean Narcan, not naloxone. Narcan you can get without a prescription." I felt very uncomfortable having to explain to a PHARMACIST that Narcan is simply the brand name for the nasal spray version of naloxone, so I gritted my teeth and completed the transaction. 15 minutes later, while the pharmacy tech was walking back and forth, trying (unsuccessfully) to update my information on file, and even helping someone else behind me, I finally completed the transaction and left. I have never been to a pharmacy where the employees were as unprepared, unprofessional and uninformed as this store. After giving this store 2 chances, I'll take whatever future business I may have elsewhere. read more

They are all very nice but understaffed. Waited over an hour and ten minutes to get my prescription filled. At other Walgreens they fill your prescription right away if it involves antibiotics, but the pharmacists were busy with other orders. I got in line several times hoping to have my order ready only to sit down again and wait. They said they would page me but they did not. When asked why my order took so long, I was told they were very busy. Thanks Walgreens next time I'll try CVS. read more

After going to the ER two times in 2 days via ambulance being admitted to the hospital for severe back pain I made a serious mistake of getting my prescriptions filled at this location. Showed up at 6 PM immediately after being discharged. on a Saturday night to pick up my prescriptions and the pharmacist very rudely said it's 601 I'm not gonna give it to you. Seems like I should just be able to have them transferred to a new Walgreens but NO the main prescription had to be original so now I get to spend another 12 hours in serious pain waiting to pick up the medicine that she had already filled. I will never use this pharmacy again. It took me three attempts to fill a prescription, and the pharmacist was extremely condescending. I did not appreciate being told that he would not pay the prices they charge for drugs, and that I should perhaps consider not taking the medications my doctor has prescribed. read more

Closest one for the Cherry Creekers I believe. It's by the awesome Super Target. This is a really nice Walgreens, they happen to have really super high tech computers for a place like this. I found this old journal of a Walgreen's employee at an estate sale: Day 1: Got a new job! I'll be working at the Walgreen's on Colorado Blvd today. It isn't much, but they'll give me part-time while I finish up grad school. Day 2: Okay, my manager and coworkers are pretty strange. Though company policy states that there must be four employees for every shift, none of them ever seem to be on the floor. It's really weird. Despite never having more than two customers at a time, no customer can ever leave the store in under fifteen minutes. Even the ones that don't get stuck behind some old woman suffering from dementia usually have to wait, like, ten minutes to get service. Day 4: Janet mumbled something about the "unblinking eye" and walked into a wall. Everyone who works here seems really odd. Yesterday, Gabe's family came and begged him to come home. He just kept repeating "but I am home, mother." Day 5: Hmm. I'm not digging this checkout process. I'm supposed to ask for ID twice, try to sell them a discount card, and use a credit card machine with ludicrous options that takes several minutes to navigate. Day 13: Haven't been sleeping well. I get these dreams... all I can remember is an eye, somewhere in the heavens that never blinks. Day 22: Horror of horrors! I went into the stockroom to see why, again, there were no employees on the salesfloor. That's when I saw... it. My co-workers were on their knees praying to it. I do not, cannot, know how long it has lived there, if indeed a thing like that can be called "alive". It spoke to me in my mind. It showed me things, things I dare not speak aloud. It hurt me. Day 24: If you're reading this, it means my attempts to contact the authorities have failed and Bet-Sabbot has taken hold of me. Of the many mysteries revealed to me, I now know the answers to the lack of employees on the salesfloor, the long checkout process, the zombie-like cashiers, and why the horrible products no one would ever want to buy are arranged in such a haphazard way around the store. You see, the longer you are in close proximity to the creature, the greater its ability to subjugate your mind. Please, if you are weak-willed, do not shop at Walgreens! Even five or ten minutes may spell your doom! Day 33: I no longer go to school. I live at Walgreens, the sepulcher of The Master. I do not eat or sleep - the cold flame of Bet-Sabbot's love provides me with all the sustenance I need. Day 41: I lost another tooth today. Probably because I do not love Bet-Sabbot enough. Perhaps if I give myself to it entirely, I can make manager. Praise the three-lobed eye! Day 58: Hi, welcome to Walgreens... I'm going to need to see some ID for those cigarettes, and again for your credit card. Oh, it looks like the machine is down again. Paper towels. Aisle six...no, eight. We get the Sunday paper delivered and I have started reading the ads- I have to say I have found some great deals at Walgreens on things such as dye free laundry detergent, dish washer tablets, Kleenex, hand soap and seasonal items. It is definitely worth checking out for the deals- especially when coupled with their rewards card. This time around I earned $5 off. The parking is easy here and the gal helping us check out was very cheerful. read more

Sometimes you just have to throw the whole employee away . I came into walgreens this morning to buy some hair product but before going I needed to use the restroom. Now I'm not sure why but all the bathrooms in Colorado walgreens have a security code on them so I politely went to the front and asked the nice , big black lady to unlock the restroom she said "they out of order" lol needles to say I didn't get my hair stuff I had to go to the bathroom so bad and not to mention THEIR BATHROOMS ARE FINE . I had a prescription I tried to fill four times at another location and couldn't get it filled because of issues with my express pay. I finally had it transferred to this Walgreens and they were so much more helpful. They helped me solve the problem instead of just sending me away and telling me to fix it online. They have a lot if stuff at this store - make-up, bandages, etc. but don't ask anyone to help you find a specific item because no one knows where anything is sans they don't want to help, especially the pharmacy staff. Walgreens has always been my favorite pharmacy, and my go-to corner store. My experience today at the 360 S Colorado Blvd location in Glendale, CO has unfortunately changed that. I'm not one to call out horrible customer service, but the manager (Heather) was incredibly rude and condescending even as I was politely trying to inquire about the discrepancy in what she was telling me and what your written return policy is according to the Walgreens website. When I pulled your website up on my phone and showed her your return policy she said, "It's my store, I return at my discretion. And if I don't want to accept the return, I don't." That was her explanation when I asked if each store has their own return policy, or what the reason would be why she is not adhering to the Walgreens return policy. I honestly left feeling almost like a criminal for trying to return something to Walgreens (oddly enough, my first - and last - attempt to make a return with your company). I couldn't believe how she was speaking to me nor the fact that she appeared as if she could literally not care less. Anyway, in a time where we have so many options of where to fill prescriptions and get toilet paper, a company that treats loyal customers with such disregard are, disappointingly, not worthy of my continued patronage. Do NOT use this pharmacy. I usually like using Walgreens because refilling with the app and picking up with the drive thru is easy, but this Walgreens is awful. First of all, the people here are very unfriendly. I called to ask why I was notified of a different prescription than the one I dropped off being ready, and the person on the other end replied with an attitude like I was too dumb to understand and I was inconveniencing him. Second, they claimed they "lost my prescription" after notifying me the day before that my prescription was ready. Third, the wait time is absolutely ridiculous. I should not have to wait over thirty minutes in the drive thru to just be notified that they "lost my prescription." Lastly, if they do not have my original prescription rather than switching to another brand and not saying anything, I would have loved to be notified so I could either take my prescription to another pharmacy that does carry the brand or go ahead with a different brand. Pretty rude pharmacy staff. First they dont have the brand I am asking for, they say they will order it. Next day when I call up, they say yes your order is ready BUT again its not the brand which I wanted ! After clearly telling them what brand I want, they still order the wrong one not once but twice. This is my 2nd terrible review of a Walgreens pharmacy because I visited 2 locations in one week for different reasons. I'm extremely disappointed in this locations pharmacy. I went to drop off a bag of old prescriptions and this location has a big silver box inside near the pharmacy. When I went in and found the box, I could not figure out how to get all my old bottles into the silver "dispose of" box. I waited at the window for someone to help me, and I was (again: read my other review of Walgreens pharmacy off Hampden) greeted by someone really rude in the pharmacy that didn't even say "hi how are you", more like "what do you need" without a smile (sickening customer service). I said I wasn't sure how to dispose of my perscriptions in the silver box. I was looked at in a way that told me "really, you can't figure that out?", then the lady said "you just put it in the flap". The "flap?". Um, I'm not an idiot, I tried everything (not what I said). I said back to this annoyed lady that I didn't see a flap and would she mind showing me what to do? She literally [rolled her eyes], came out, showed me what to do, and walked back into her pharmacy. I watched her and her and another girl behind the counter muffled something under their breath about me too. WOW. With 2 bad experiences with Walgreens pharmacy (2 locations - the other off Hampden) in the matter of just a few days, I will ABSOLUTELY NO QUESTION take my business elsewhere. There are plenty of other options out there for me thankfully. Like I said in my other review, it's sad retailers like Walgreens (brick and mortar) aren't putting a larger emphasis on customer service.
