I came here to get some foot care products. This location has a huge parking lot and other stores as well . It may be a shopping mall. As I entered this store, I found this store to be understocked, however I did find what I came for. The store is congested by carts in the way and tubs of product on the floor. This walgreens is the worst.. the store is outdated and does not have all products. The pharmacy staff is awful. They do not communicate with customers and they take way too long to fill prescriptions. I went to pick up a prescription and they told me Walgreens does not fill my particular prescription but they did not have the courtesy to call me to let me know. So rude and unprofessional. I will never step foot in this Walgreens again!!! read more

The pharmacy for this location is the worst and it seems to be getting worse every year. They lie about the prescription ready times. The rest of the pharmacy is decent and it's why I gave the 2 stars. The prices and not bad and the staff in the front are nice. read more

I used to love this drugstore during Genovese days. It has changed its name and management twice and the entire store is totally different to what used to be. I am reviewing today it's store. There is always line no matter what time and day I come because only one cashier is being seen by the register. Not much choices for their merchandise displays . There are always boxes of goods on the aisles which make shopping inconvenient. Nobody is on the floor to greet , help or assist anybody that walks in. read more

The checkout process is extremely slow and terrible. On top of that, a clearance tag on one of the items I purchased turned out to be incorrect. The cashier didn't ask for my membership number or anything else during checkout, which caused me to forget to use my coupon because of them. They were so clueless that they nearly completed the transaction without even letting me input my membership number! They never asked if I wanted to use my points either. I noticed this and returned to the store. I didn't want to go to the same cashier, so I approached another one, but even though they were right there, they told me to go back to the original cashier. What kind of work ethic is this??? You're paid to assist customers and make sales, not to wander aimlessly around the store! Your job is to make me, the customer, satisfied! Anyway, I went to the indicated cashier, and it took them TWO HOURS to process a return, which is usually a very simple task. I've worked in retail before, and the process is straightforward: refund all the items except for the one with the incorrect price, re-ring the rest, and apply the coupon. But no, they couldn't even handle that. The return was processed, they re-scanned the items, and the whole thing took an absurd amount of time. The result? A complete disaster. They couldn't even apply the coupon properly. Are we not allowed to leave the store without double-checking everything ourselves? Can we not trust you to do your job? Why are you completing transactions without verifying everything? This is unacceptable and ridiculous. All I wanted was to use a coupon, and instead, I ended up with a massive headache. Thanks to your incompetent staff, a brand I once loved has now become a source of frustration and disappointment for me. I really want give 0 star!! read more

Walgreens on Union Tpke in Glen Oaks is the worst. Awful customer service, can't get thru to the pharmacy, wait forever on hold with the stupid music and then when someone finally picks up, they hang up on you. I'm only writing this because this has happened at least 3 times. They need to hire MORE PEOPLE. At least the guy Pharmacist is Super nice and is very helpful when you go in person. Otherwise, they need to get people who want to work. read more

This store does not even deserve 1 star. Absolutely HORRENDOUS customer service. The store is poorly stocked and most things are locked-up, and then it takes 20 minutes for an employee to actually come and unlock the security cases. They also refused to take a $20 I was paying with because it had a slight rip in the corner. Management should be ashamed. read more

This place is hit or miss. Majority of the visits it seems I'm spending a lot of time on line. There has been the rare occasions over the years when the amount of time I spent waiting on line was appropriate for the day/time I was shopping at the store. Even when it was run by another corporate brand ( "blank" Aide) overall, it was and still is just not run right (or correctly). The lines are usually longer than it should be. There has been 1 or 2 employees who were efficient and friendly over the years but unfortunately for the most part something seems missing. I understand being backed up once in a while, ie. a mad rush during the holidays or prime time on the weekend. It just seems like you have to mentally prepare yourself to spend extra time whenever you go here. read more

The store & services provided in recent years have plummeted. Nobody greets you. No workers in the aisles to help. Entire pharmacy staff has turned over. Staff sends Robocalls to contact you & make you call back. Then they hang up without even answering the phone.

This place just needs helpful Employee it's simple . ASSIst customers when they need help. The manager (an older guy with glasses ) every time I go in. Always chit chatting with coworkers not very helpful. There was a girl by photos who seems clueless about everything needed help shipping something since this is a drop off location. Her answer to why the label didn't want to scan . "It's not working " i was able to ship my box from another Walgreens same label seem to work just fine. I mean. If you are lucky and go in when there's this young manager there. You will have a great day but that's if that manager is still there. Been there twice lately. Older management ; lines super long. No help from employees. Hope this helps anyone who is trying to get decent in and out shop day. So they know what to look out for and go somewhere else read more

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. If I could take away the one star I would. I have been there many times, and almost every time there was a problem. Either, my prescription wasn't ready(called in 18 hours before I arrived), or, a denial that they received the prescription my doctor had sent. These people are totally incompetent and I swore I would never, ever go there again to fill a prescription. read more
