This Walgreens called me to renew my prescription. I renew but wait over a week to pick up because every time I drive by they are 6 cars deep. Today I'm behind one car only but it takes them a legitimate 15 minutes. When I pull up, the employee is yelling at me through the drawer because their speaker hasn't worked in months. I give her my info and she says "yeah, it's gonna be 15 minutes. We are short staffed" I was literally the only one there and my order should already be done! Sadly, this is the kind of experience I've come to expect on consistent basis. Been with Wal greens forever but enough is enough. read more

Do not get your Medication sent here. The pharmacists are the most disrespectful people I've come across. 2 women, 1 who claimed to be the manager did not make this experience easy in any way. I'll never and any medication even as simple as an antibiotic back to this place. Never again. read more

I have been a customer of Walgreens for over 42 years and have NEVER been treated or talked to the way I was by a pharmacist or anyone for that matter like I was by a pharmacist named John! He lectured me like I was a child and I happen to be 62 years old.I m not able to go into details,it would take me all day.This man has no business being in customer service period!!And shame on Walgreens for this to even be possible.My Doctor's office told me the patients have been complaining about this pharmacy and suggested I switch to a different one,which is what I'm going to do.Stay Away!!! read more

Takes forever to get a script filled. You wait a long time for them to check out, 15 minutes once you get to the front of the line. They also didn't have one script ready saying they "just received it" which was just a big fat LIE! read more

WOW! I don't like rude people so I'm very careful to speak to people with respect. My daughter was in desperate need of her medication and I was checking to see if they had received the preauthorization necessary to fill it. despite being left on hold for over 30 minutes, I still was kind and respectful. The woman pharmacist was so incredibly rude. Talked over me the entire time and when I was able to get one sentence in the conversation, she said, "Will you let me finish talking?" she spent the entire time telling me what she couldn't do for me before I could tell her that I was only calling to get the fax number requested by my doctor. I did raise my voice after being browbeat by the pharmacist. under no circumstances should they talk to anyone like that! read more

Walgreens has to be the most horrific pharmacy on the whole planet. Their pharmacists are LAZY and only care about the bottom line almighty $$$$$. God forbid you have another pharmacy that doesn't stock one of your prescriptions and you want Walgreens to fill it. Instead of actually getting of their lazy butts and making a few phone calls to verify drug interactions, they DEMAND you transfer all your other prescriptions to their store before they fill your single prescription. They actually hold your prescription hostage. Do their pharmacists get paid by the script or bonused on prescription volume????? Would medical providers be in violation of Stark & Antikickback doing what they are doing? As I said, their lazy pharmacist hides behind drug interactions. I would have thought a company as big as Walgreens would have an EMR that is part of the community and state medical record repository and you know what other medications I am taking. If you want a pharmacy with caring professionals DON'T GO TO WALGREENS!!! DO YOU NEED DAILY PAIN MEDICINE STAY AWAY FROM WALGREENS! My scripts were sent to Walgreens and two weeks later when I got ready to fill them I was told "m'am it's not like you NEED this medicine". We can't "allocate" to you. Try back in March. The Pharmacy manager Mike is very rude and on a powertrip! He likes to argue and appear God like. Prices are also way high, my daughters 30 day supply of meds there was going to be $148.00!!!!! They kept saying they would call our doctor for a ninty day supply but never did and our insurance requires all routine drugs to be ninty days so maybe thats why it was so much. I went to CVS and got a ninty day supply for $14.00 as they called the doctor for ninty days or prices just lower, who knows. Yep go figure! It appears they want you to pay out of pocket. Also always a 30 - 45 min wait. Most of the time they are out of needed meds so another 2 - 3 days wait. read more

Because we live nearby, we had a prescription called in to the Walgreens at Santa Fe and Second. They didn't have the medication AGAIN and told us to call around to all the other Walgreens to find one that had the prescription. We called around and finally found the prescription at the Walgreens at Bryant Square and Second. Waited forever on the phone everywhere and everyone was RUDE. Finally got someone at the Bryant store on the line, but they were RUDE ans said they have the medication, but won't fill it because even though it is the second time the same drug was filled, and the doctor said it was a refill, he didn't write it in his call? so they wouldn't fill it. ?? Both Walgreen pharmacist helpers were RUDE and a total waste of time. TERRIBLE PLACE TO SPEND YOUR MONEY. GO ELSEWHERE!! read more

Honestly the managers are so dismissive and rude. I asked a question and she said well doesn't google have an answer. That is so disrespectful especially when I work in customer service as a manager in retail. The only reason I came back to the store was because I had one question and it was a yes or no answer (that she could have answered politely). Also the fact they weren't even working they were just hanging out talking while the cashier was doing all the work made me even more angry because you're supposed to be setting an example for your workers as a manager. read more

I usually prefer this Walgreens to other locations but just had the worst experience. My daughter has been coughing with a cold as she tested negative for Covid. I'm a single mom and cannot leave my child at home to pick up medication. I was trying to find the right medication when my daughter told me she had to vomit. We made it to the back only to find the bathrooms locked. My daughter unfortunately puked on the floor. I went to find the nearest employee to let them know and let us into the bathroom. As I was telling (Goldie, apparently she is a manager), she rolled her eyes and tried to rush away. She finally meets us to open the bathroom and mumbles under her breathe, "are you serious". Obviously if I would have known my daughter would have puked I wouldn't have brought her in. Very disappointed with this store as the pharmacist tried to avoid us as well explaining everyone was very busy. Sad to have had to purchase anything from this store, however, being Christmas it was the only thing open. read more

For years Eckerd Drug (now CVS) was terrible and Walgreens was the shining start among pharmacies, but that's all changed over the past 2 years. I can accept one or two bad experiences, and chock them up to bad days at the store, but we've had consistently awful experiences with Walgreens over the past 2 years. Every time one of our Drs calls in a prescription, Walgreens claims they never got it, then we find out that they simply never check their voicemail. They let prescription orders stack up in their inbox for hours and then pull them all off at once, which results in a delay of our prescriptions of several hours. Not only is this a problem, their staff simply doesn't care to do any better. They could care less that we have a child at home in pain who needs his medication. They simply say "It'll be ready in an hour" (after an already 2-hour delay). They never make an effort to improve their systems, speed things up, or even show any compassion. After giving the benefit of doubt for the past 2 years, we've finally decided we're done. It's worth the extra 2-mile drive to go to a pharmacy that at least makes an effort to serve their customers well. Goodbye Walgreens! read more

The girl at the drive thru knows who we are when we drive up which probably indicates the date of our health but it's nice to be recognized. There could be a wait because it's 24 hour so a lot of people in line sometimes. It's conveniently located for us. read more

This place has the worst customer service I have ever seen. Got to the window after 15-20 minutes of just waiting to tell them we had a prescription. Then got told it would be another 15-30 minute wait and that we couldn't wait for it in the drive thru...? Thought that was the point. At some point the drive thru guy left without telling anyone and we were then told it would be ANOTHER 30 minute wait... what a waste of time. read more

This pharmacy refuses to fill valid prescriptions for no valid reason. The pharmacist seems to think she is a practicing physician. Refused to fill the script without talking to Dr first. It was after hours clinic and they had just closed. Have used this same doctor and pharmacy for years. Now they suddenly think they can override a physician. I will never do business with Walgreens again. read more
