Thrifty had my med, got my rx transferred, and I had a med I had waited for over a week at the chain in a couple of hours. Friendly people and a drive through complete the pic. Don't get me wrong, the people at the chain are very nice, too. They just don't have the flexibility to meet my needs like Thrifty does.

Other times, there may be a 3 day to 10 day wait for the prescriptions and we have to drive to a different store - but this store doesn't advise you that you can get it filled at another Walgreens and will not initiate the transfer. Are these stores competing against each other? That sounds downright stupid. It is beyond frustrating and that is why we are permanently transferring all prescriptions and vaccinations away from this store, forever.

I went in today to pick up an OTC medication. It was marked $1 more than the special sale price…read morelisted. I purchased 6 things total and of those 6, 3 rung up for a higher price than listed. One thing was $3 higher than listed. Eye cream was posted as $23 on sale for $20. It rung up as $23. Half of the things I purchased that had a special sale price either rang up for more than what was posted or needed a coupon that you have to have at check out. Very sneaky Walgreens. Kinda deceptive.
