this has been my pharmacy for years. they know my name when i walk in the door and greet me. they are prompt and careful when filling my prescriptions. they deliver them to my home with a small fee. i have given up driving for everyone's safety so this is a real plus for me. i had terrible experiences with the chain pharmacies and really appreciate the respect i get from thrifty. if you're needing a new pharmacy or want to change from the 'chain pharmacies' i would recommend thrifty. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. The first woman I talked to was very helpful and willing to help me transfer my prescriptions to this location. After hours of waiting for my prescription to be filled Nick called and said he could not fill my prescription because "he did not FEEL COMFORTABLE filling my prescription due to the dosage my PCP prescribed." Very incompetent decision to disregard orders from a higher level of care. I will be taking my money elsewhere. read more

I decided to come to thrifty pharmacy because CVS told me would be an hour wait. When I got here I was told they had to call my doctor to get my prescription quantity number. Sounds good waiting for them to call my doctor I just ran across the parking lot to my doctors office and have them call it in. When I came to pick up my prescription my prescription was like double the cost of what I would have paid at Walmart pharmacy. Never again will I shop at thrifty pharmacy for any pharmaceutical needs. I'd rather drive 30 minutes to Walmart even though I hate that store to get my prescription filled. And did I mention I hate Walmart. THey did fill the prescription pretty fast though, so I'll give them one star for that. Good try thrifty pharmacy but not good enough. read more

I've been going to Thrifty after bad experiences at CVS and Walgreens. The people are always friendly even though I haven't always been nice to them. (Not always in the best mood when I am sick and running to the pharmacy) There are no wait times at Thrifty. If anything changes to your script, they notify you. The only problems is that they have very limited hours. If I am stuck in traffic or leave work late, I can't make the 6pm closing time. The information the print with the prescriptions is also very very small font and quite difficult to read. Extending the hours of the pharmacy just until 7pm would help out a lot with convenience. read more

While the nurse that did our flu shots was super and friendly, whoever answers your phone should not be speaking to customers, ever. I called to ask for proof of the flu shot we got this morning for clinicals and she condescendingly said "well come back and talk to the nurses", I asked "I have to drive all the way back there? They can't email it or can I talk to them on the phone to see what other options I have?" She said "nope, they won't come to the phone". Lousiest customer service ever. read more

Went in to Thrifty Pharmacy to get a flu shot. Everyone was very friendly and willing to assist me find anything if I needed them to. I didn't have to wait at all to get my shot. Great value, in fact, it was suppose to be $27 but I only had $25 on me - so I was going to get more money from the car, but they said $25 was fine. I will definitely frequent this place more now that I had such a great experience. read more

I called Thrifty to inquire about the Covid shot for a senior friend. The lady who answered the phone was exceptionally polite and helpful. She made sure that she had my friend's name on their list, and as promised, called her the next day to schedule her shot. I was extremely impressed with her professionalism, as well as genuine interest in helping. read more

My wife and I were able to get our 1st Moderna Covid 19 shots on Jan 28 through this facility. It was well organized and we never had to leave our car. We received our shots within 5 min of our appt times and able to drive off in 15 min after the shots. They scheduled our 2nd shots for Feb 25. Thrifty certainly earned a 5* rating for this service. read more

Hats off to Thrifty Pharmacy. During this season of Covid 19, many people were seeking vaccinations and were becoming very fearful due to the inability to obtain or get help without being given, what they felt, was the run-around. We were assisting our church members, 65 and older, and constantly were running into dead ends. Most of the time, vaccination centers, immediately, after registration through the portal, were filled and we continually went around and around, only to be referred back to the initial phone number called. Some were scheduled other places but had horror stories of standing and waiting in the cold. Really? 65 years and older having to go through this because of disorganization. Upon being told about Thrifty Pharmacy, I called and we were able to schedule church members and friends of church members for the vaccinations. We talked directly to someone at the pharmacy and were able to schedule vaccinations for those in need. I was able to schedule many people for the shots. The good news, DRIVE-UP. If no shots were available, those needing shots were placed on a list and received reminder phone calls and also texts. Thrifty's staff was "wonderful" and went far beyond what I consider "the call of duty". I just wanted the public to know and also to say "THANKS" to Thrifty Pharmacy. God Bless Thrifty! This is for the Edmond store. We started using them 6 months ago when we moved to Edmond from elsewhere in the metro. We immediately started having problems that we had never had with our old pharmacy. There have been too many issues to list here briefly and is not isolated incidents, so lets just say we are going to another pharmacy where, hopefully, they are as competent as our previous pharmacist. My final warning. double check your prescriptions closely from Thrifty. Good luck of you use them. read more

A few weeks ago I transferred our family scripts to Thrifty and so far couldn't be happier. The hours are limited but compared to the wait in line and rude service at Walgreens it's a big step up. They fill scripts on the spot...yes, while you wait....no "come back in 2 hours" after you've waited 15 or longer to get to the window. Thrifty staff are friendly and accommodating...actually they are the neighborhood pharmacy that Walgreens claims but doesn't deliver. I've gone in with a script, they've filled it and I've been back home before I normally would have made it to the Walgreens window. One trip instead of two...that works for me. read more

Thrifty pharmacy is a small town pharmacy in a big city. They have billing problems due to personnel working limited hours. Not exactly willing to assist. They need to get in the business completely or get out of the business all together. Small town practices don't cut it this day and age.
