Went to the CVS early in the morning in search of Pokémon cards for my nephew when I walked in there was a few, but not the ones that I was looking for I went to the worker a old man at the register. I asked him nicely if they had any other kinds of Pokémon cards he looked at me and pointed at the cards in a very rude way, and said that's all they had I said thank you and I put the cards back as I was walking away. He whispers to himself "you're an adult" . I looked back and said to him "what was that?" he looked at me and nodded his head and acted as if he didn't say anything. It was very rude and very unprofessional. It should not matter to the employees who or what products are being bought by customer. Do not get a COVID-19 test done here. I had one done back in November 2020 that never reached the lab. I have been fighting to get my $139.00 back. Today, Feb 4, 2021, I received a letter from CVS claims department stating they don't have to refund my $139.00 because they are immuned from claims of loss or harm for activities related to services or any other resources to combat COVID-19. Our child's medication is extremely hard to find. This pharmacy has a horrible rating for a reason. I couldn't understand why...but now I do! They are not compassionate but totally condescending if when I was practically begging in tears for the smallest act of kindness! Had prescription sent here. They did not have it in stock. They said it was in stock at a CVS a 20 minute drive away and prescription would be ready when I got there. Got to the CVS all the way across town. Not only did they not have the prescription at all - this store didn't call at all and they looked at me as though I was crazy when I asked for my prescription. i was in line in drive thru. Posted hours are they are open till 8 pm. Its 7:05 pm. The car in front of me pulls out. The young lady in the drive thru rushes to pull the window guard down. I had waited in line 10 minutes. I then go inside and wait in line for ten minutes. The pharmacists gets a lady wanting a Covid booster. She leaves three people in the register line and goes to give this other customer a booster. The lady was the last of the customers to arrive. I guess the Booster pays the most. I will be getting my prescribed medicines shipped to me. These people lack basic people skills. They have more business than they can handle. I WOULD RECOMMEND SOMEONE ELSE. read more

Poor service, rude, disrespectful. I am never going back there. Even if I have to go through transferring all our meds (all my family meds, 6 accounts) The worst CVS pharmacy in town. On 2/3/21, I had to take my toddler to the doctor and gave us antibiotics to control an ear infection . The prescription was sent to the CVS on 1520 S Bryant Ave. I went through the drive through and a lady asked me to drive around and come back in 30 minutes. When I came back, she informed me that they were so backed up and that she was sorry but it would be ready in an hour. Here I was at 6:00pm parked in front of the store with a sick child in his car seat since 3:30 crying. I came back to the CVS at 7:15pm to pick up the prescription, but to my dismay, the same lady told me that she was very sorry but I was going to have to wait THREE additional hours! Three hours? The CVS would be closed by then. INCREDIBLE! I told her that it was impossible. My baby was really sick and I needed that prescription tonight before going home. I asked her many times to help me! She was rude and and kept repeating" what can I do mom? It is what it is" I was trying everything to get some help. What she kept saying, what do you want me to do? I told her, that she could prepare me the antibiotic at that moment considering that she made me wait in the car twice and I was there waiting with a crying baby. She replied, NO! I cannot do that! I told her that in three hours the pharmacy would be closed. And she said, "OH WELL come back tomorrow!" I was frustrated and yelled at her that my baby was sick and she replied, "Not my fault" :( I CANT believe that we have gotten to this point when people just don't care. What happened with customer service CVS? What happened to the people with compassion and heart? I just can't believe that a CVS pharmacy that is supposed to be there for the people is represented by these types of associates. I had to go across town and go to a different CVS to get the medicine. This CVS was helpful and caring, and they were able to helped me! In FIVE minutes, I had my prescription and I was driving back home at 8:30 PM. FIVE MINUTES! I was bumping around in Edmond last week before meeting to record a podcast interview. I found myself with a few free minutes, and I decided to get a snack and a drink to enjoy while reviewing my notes and gathering my thoughts. I didn't want a coffee or a soda though, so CVS was a good choice for a nice bottled water and a wide selection of snacks. I was able to find what I needed quickly, and, seeing as the store was nearly empty, I was in and out in about three minutes. It was incredibly clean and oh-so-quiet - almost eerily so. It was kind of weird, because based on the number of cars in the parking lot, I expected a full store, but when I got in and wandered around about, there was almost no one to be seen. I didn't go all the way back to the pharmacy, and I guess there may have been a bunch of people back there, but it was oddly super quiet and almost totally empty. The cashier was very friendly, again, almost Truman-show nice. I almost felt like I should run back in and make sure it was a real CVS with real people. But my grapefruit water and my gummy bears were real, so I guess it was just a very subdued CVS. read more

I've had a prescription filled there regularly for the past 8 to 12 months. I had run out of the medication and waited for the doc to generate a printed prescription. I took it to the store at 8. There were a few customers waiting. The pharmacy technician was sitting at the counter doing some sort of paperwork. I handed him the prescription, he looked at it and told me it wouldn't be ready until tomorrow because "all of the pharmacy staff" had just left. The pharmacy is open until 11, there was a pharmacist filling prescriptions, and I confirmed that the product was in stock. I told him that I needed the prescription that evening; not the next day. His response was to discuss the details of my prescription out loud, in earshot of others, and then tell me that I can't expect to bring something in at 8 and have it filled that night. He then became argumentative and I asked to speak the the pharmacist, who was standing 10 feet away, head down, working. He advised me to step the the consulting window. The pharmacist, who I later learned is the pharmacy manager then asked the technician what was going on, as though I weren't there and the two of them proceeded to discuss me while I was standing there. The pharmacist then came over, took the prescription and told me it would take her 45 minutes to fill. There were no apologies made for the rudeness and neither employee interacted with me again. I'm not sure how this passes for customer care, and I'm fairly sure that the pharmacy tech's handling of my prescription and information was a breach of protocol if not an outright violation of state pharmacy law. At one point the tech recommended that if I needed the 'script filled that evening, I might consider going elsewhere. Mind you, the pharmacy was open for another 3 hours, the prescription was printed on a physician's printed form, and signed in pen; not digitally, AND they had the product in stock. I contacted CVS's corporate office about the mishandling of this situation. I'll be interested to hear if I get anything other than a lame excuse, or half-hearted apology. read more

I had very sudden, severe cold symptoms and decided to pop into the Minute Clinic for a flu test, better safe than sorry and the earlier the better! I'd never heard of these clinics, and it's a major bummer there's only 5 of them in the entire metro area. Edmond, SW OKC, Moore, Norman and Mustang. I guess that covers most areas, it just makes for some potentially long wait times in these crazy weather times. That being said, my boss recently went to an urgent care, paid the insane copay, got misdiagnosed then went to a Minute Clinic and paid way less, got the correct diagnosis and meds and boom. So here I was. This is operated by OU Physicians, so you get to see an actual physician. You can register ahead online and I recommend doing that. I was 5 mins late (wtf with Edmond speed limits) and checked in. There was someone in the exam room already but I got to next, as opposed to the guy who walked in (I almost felt bad, he sounded terrible). Ashley was super nice, gave me a flu test, called in some Tamiflu and also recommended other meds to take at the same time since I get sinus infections, so that I don't get one at the same time. I happened to mention to her how I ended up there and about my own terrible Urgent Care experience and she felt terrible and said they basically operate with no guidelines. WE ALL KNEW IT! So, forget UC, hit up the Minute Clinic for the cheap (they use insurance too). read more

I am a licensed medical professional. I have to say I would never ever have CVS conduct a Covid test for anyone! The accountability measures stink! No receipt or anything for services. I came to have a prescription filled a week ago while traveling through, the pharmacist NEVER CAME OVER to the consult window. However, his rude sassy assistant claimed my prescription was not able to be filled because the "system" rejected it. No, you were too lazy to input it, it was 3 o'clock on a Monday with no one around. Turned me away with a "sorry." Went down the street to Walgreens and I got a "We'll have your script ready in 15 minutes. Thank you for waiting!" How nice! I'll never use a CVS pharmacy again. read more

After an ER visit at 1030pm on a Sunday. We had to wait a while.. we were walking thru the store and one of the associate's was very nice, started talking to us. We finally went to the pharmacy, the rude ass old lady told us to sit down it was going to be a minute. Worst clinic ever. I got there and signed in only to have someone come after me 15 minutes later. The people who came after me got taken back before me because the doctor knew them. Never mind I had been up all night in pain and finally found a window to leave my ill baby at home with my husband between feedings. The doctor could have cared less. She was rude and inconsiderate. I never was able to get seen because I had already waited 45 minutes and had to get home to the baby. I would never go here unless you want to take your chances on whether or not someone the doctor knows needs to be seen first. read more

I will start off with the positive. Went to the Minute Clinic. Very convenient. Not always the fastest but it is first come first serve. This time I was 1st in line. I would rate Minute Clinic 5 stars. That being said the pharmacy is terrible. I had my prescription electronically transmitted from the clinic to the pharmacy (less than 30 feet away). No customers at the pharmacy at that time. I spoke with the tech briefly to make sure they had my updated insurance information. He entered new data and said it would be ready in a few minutes. I looked around for a few minutes and then sat by the pharmacy. 45 minutes elapsed and finally a woman working the register asked my name and checked. My prescription was ready and they had already placed it with all the scripts against the wall with all the others. It clearly said WAITING. The tech asked the pharmacist why they didn't call my name when it was ready. The pharmacist replied, "I am too busy". Best I can tell the script had been ready for 30 minutes. The tech said she was sorry and didn't understand why it happened. I ended up speaking to the manager and all she had to say was they were really busy. It was the week of Christmas. It did get busy after I had been there for 30 minutes but certainly wasn't when my script was filled. Obviously the pharmacist was not having a good day and really didn't care about taking care of customers. In my opinion, I get much better service at Walgreens. I will return to the Minute Clinic because I have had good experiences with it. However, I will be getting a written prescription and going to my preferred pharmacy. read more
