Yes! They r great for pet meds too

It's been over 8 yrs using this place & almost always stellar experience. Front staff to photo to pharmacy...Those that give low ratings seem to fail to plan... Employees here are not responsible for uncontrollables let alone things that are easily avoidable.... Let's extend grace to the hard working employees here... I've found everyone (at varying ages!) to always be very helpful & engaging. I really value that Walgreens is a national chain... so I have access to refills wherever I may be visiting. Some tips for the frustrated: -use the Walgreens app to order meds & dont show up until u know meds are ready... -come IN instead of using pharmacy drive thru (it may even be quicker) -remember pharmacy lunch hr is 1:30-2PM -remember pharmacy closes 5PM Sat & Sun I know what it's like to have chronic health conditions....my conditions aren't made better by being a jerk. (& a Merry Heart is good Med Anyway.)

Walgreens canceled my prescription. They didn't call. They didn't text me, they didn't notify me in their app.

I've been using this Albertsons recently when frequenting other places nearby in Eagle area. Downside....not much! The wine department is much smaller than the Star location. I'm thinking it's to be considerate of the nearby private wine business store...which is out of respect for small businesses. You can still find all levels of wine. I sell wine.

For anyone that shops here, I do highly recommend paying the $99 annual Fresh Pass fee; they have discounted rates for things like Military as well. In 2025 I saved over $1000, so I definitely know I got my moneys worth. I would be curious to price that out against Winco, as I may still be paying more, but the app telling me that I'm saving makes me feel better The other positives of this store- Layout is easy to follow and relatively simple to find what you're looking for. You're not walking around perpendicular aisles spending 80% of the time just meandering around. The parallel aisles make it very easy to weave in and out. 90% of the time, they have what I need, and if not there is a clear alternative option available. My few negatives that I do have with this store- They seem to stock at what I believe to be inconvenient times (but I also think that is just my luck for when I do my shopping). I go at around 9-10 on Sundays which seems to be their busiest time to stock the shelves. I know it's not a 24 hour location, but I would think stocking in the early mornings or maybe even weekdays would also make it easier for the employees! I used to do delivery because of the convenience, until they started being "out of stock" of a lot of the product that said it was in stock in the app; the app also says what's out of stock.. not their fault as their just trying to be efficient, but the in-store shoppers also don't have quality control. So I definitely learned that instead of being upset at them, I needed to just get my behind up and do the shopping myself. Overall a great location though and the Starbucks inside is of course an added bonus!

A quick google of liquor sales in Eagle informed us that like our current home state of Oregon, liquor can only be purchased in state run stores in Idaho. (As the good people of Washington state now know, there are advantages to the state run system. See This n That. ;-)). Made our way to this Eagle liquor store (one of two in the city) with about ten minutes to spare before their 8pm weekday close time. Spacious store. Nice selection of gin and other adult beverages. Delightful, friendly young woman behind the counter who being only 19 couldn't offer us any advice on whether the local distillery gin that was on the shelf with others was good. In Idaho you can sell liquor when you're 19 although you can't buy it until you're 21. Go figure. We bought a favorite gin, price was a couple of dollars less in Idaho than we'd pay in Oregon, a bottle of tonic and we were good to go. We'll be back when bourbon season rolls around. THIS N THAT: 1) PARKING: Street parking right in front of store was easy to find. I think there is also a lot in back. 2) ACCESSIBILITY: Level in at door and throughout. 3) HOURS: Closed Sundays I think. (Although there are other liquor stores in the area that are open Sundays.) Mon - Thu 10a - 8p. Fri - Sat 10a - 9p. 4) POLITICAL RAMBLING - STATE RUN ADVANTAGE (?): I am a life long, card carrying Capitalist and on the face of things it might have seemed like a good idea to me too, were I still a WA state registered voter as I once was, to get the State out of the liquor sales business. A couple of years ago when the good people of Washington state passed measure 1138 to privatize liquor sales, I thought it would be an interesting experiment to observe since we keep talking about putting a similar measure on Oregon's ballot. Alas, what has happened is that liquor prices have gone up, in some cases WAY up, in Washington state post 1138. Folks drive to Oregon, across the border from Vancouver into Portland for example, to buy booze since it is lower priced here at our State run stores. As illustration, Portland area liquor sales have gone up dramatically since WA passed 1138. Another example is a liquor store that opened up in Kootenai County Idaho, right across the border from Spokane Washington. Since 1138 passed in Washington state, that Kootenai County Idaho liquor store has had an astronomical increase in liquor sales, thanks to folks making the less than 30 minute drive from Spokane to get there, and is now among the highest grossing liquor stores in the state of Idaho based on a recent revenue report. Politics can be enough to make you drink, don't you think? For now I'm thinking if Oregon did float a ballot measure, like Washington's 1138, to privatize liquor sales while I'm I still voting here I'd toast to "NO" looking at what's happened to our neighbors to the north.

The sense of welcome and quality of service here is exceptional. This Eagle store has been at this site for a number of years, I think, and sibling to a Boise location. I don't know which location opened first but Customedica has been operating in the area for more than 20 years. My discovery of it was in 2021 when as if the pandemic times weren't challenging enough, I developed an auto immune disorder that requires treatment in flare ups with a compounded medication and the MD who wrote the script suggested I go here to fill it. (If there is a silver lining in every difficult thing, the disease made it very difficult for me to eat in the months needed to have it diagnosed and it sure was fun to eat the six pounds back on when I could do that again. :-) ) "Knock on wood", I've only needed refill of that med a couple of times since but when I do the pharmacy does a great job of filling it for me. They also provide flu shots and I chose them as first option for that last year. And they also fill standard, non compound, prescriptions. They accept insurance, including Medicare I am told, but although I have great insurance coverage, none of it pays for compounded medications. The store has a really nice selection of greeting cards, high end dermatology skin care, and gifts like lovely soap, candles and also things made by local providers. If you are a consumer who embraces the whole being concept of wellness, you'll find good quality brand supplements here too and also, I think, some consulting on what might work best for those along with other wellness lifestyle advice. PARKING: Private lot but like many lots in Eagle this one is tight and can be tricky entering and exiting. ACCESSIBILITY: ADA parking spot near door, ample floor space inside for access.

If you recognize Kent when you walk in, it probably means you've been a regular shopper (hand raised) at the remarkable Boise CoOp Wine Shop at that Boise downtown store where Kent was on staff. Wine Merchant in the new name for this Eagle neighborhood store is apropos with Kent as new owner as he is a man who knows his stuff about wines to source good ones across all price points and recommend them to buyers. CUSTOMER CARE: It took me a beat to place Kent when we walked in here for the first time since the name change given he was out of context from the usual place we'd see him at the CoOp shop. That he recognized my husband and me instantly and greeted us warmly might tell you two things: first that we were frequent shoppers for wine at the Boise store and second that Kent has excellent customer care skills. The latter is definitely a true thing! ENJOYABLE SHOPPING LAYOUT: The shop seems lighter and brighter with layout easier to navigate. Wines are organized by country for foreign and for domestic wines by state and there are ample shelf / hang tags with information on many of the wines. All of this makes it easier to hunt if you're on a mission for something specific and fun to gather if you're wanting to browse for something to strike your fancy. EXPERTISE MATTERS: Kent is in the house every day to provide as much assistance as you need or to leave you to your own devices if you just want to wander. On a recent "we need whites" visit he was helpful in recommending two wines to complete a mixed six pack we were buying; bottles we might not have considered without his first hand knowledge of drinking them himself. There are a lot of places in Eagle to buy wine, a good number of them grocery store shelves, but the reason to shop at store run by a merchant like Kent is for the knowledge that comes along with the great customer service. SATURDAY TASTINGS: Saturday afternoons there is wine tasting between 2p and 4p. Sign up for Kent's email when you're in the shop and you'll get a heads up on what is being poured each week and other new finds he's added to inventory. Our first visit was, serendipitously, on a Saturday and we got to sample Day Wines, boutique bottlings by a woman winemaker in Dundee who has been getting NW wine press coverage, Brianne Day. (Oregonian wine writer: "... working with 25 grape varieties from 32 vineyards in the Willamette Valley and southern Oregon. "I don't have strict regulatory systems like they do in Europe telling me what I can and can't make. I'm a wild card with the freedom to satisfy my curiosity," Day said.") This coming Saturday when we pop in to pick up a bottle of Portteus (Rattlesnake Hills AVA) that is a fav of my dad's to tuck in a gift for early Father's Day visit to him, we look forward to trying one of the wines being poured, a WS 93 pt Syrah from Unnamed Series. PRICE POINTS: 10% discount on six or more bottles. Pricing is competitive and we noticed, as one example, his price for Robert Sinskey Vineyards Abraxis was two bucks lower than the competition. TIMING IS EVERYTHING: For a new merchant building inventories, your business matters now. Vote for local expertise with your feet and wallet! LOCATION: In a strip mall next to nail salon and across a double wide parking lot from The Griddle breakfast / lunch eatery. ACCESSIBILITY: Shop is level in the door and all on one level with ample floor spaces to look at, taste and pay for wines. Just right for ADA compliant equal access for shoppers like me (I have had MS since college days) who might be winos using wheels...umm...oenophiles with mobility challenges. PARKING: The private lot is generously sized. ACCESSIBLE PARKING: Lot violates ADA. This is the lot owner's error to fix not the store owner's. The only accessible parking spot in entire lot and is around the corner tucked in a side alcove of the building requiring disabled persons to travel further to get in the door. Per US ADA and Idaho code there should 2 spots in the main lot (given the number of total spaces) so shoppers with disabilities have the same equal access route to the building door. NICE GUY STORY: When in store one afternoon, a couple of young women walked in at brisk pace, laughing together then stopped short and went silent once the door closed behind them. I thought they might just be enjoying the wine "ahh...roma" but Kent intuited right away that they were lost. He asked, cheerfully, if they were looking for someplace else. They asked if he sold tequila. He explained Idaho liquor sales were by state run stores (there are two Hilton hotel chains nearby that get out of state visitors) and provided directions to the nearest one. :-)
