This store needs better workers me and my friends go to this Walgreens on our bikes almost every day and we either see this old lady or a young lady so when we ask if they have pokemon the young woman says yes and brings it up from under the desk but the old lady just says no when we come on restock days and we know it's there but she is either trying to get it just for her or she is just not selling it to customers like me. read more

It's been over 8 yrs using this place & almost always stellar experience. Front staff to photo to pharmacy...Those that give low ratings seem to fail to plan... Employees here are not responsible for uncontrollables let alone things that are easily avoidable.... Let's extend grace to the hard working employees here... I've found everyone (at varying ages!) to always be very helpful & engaging. I really value that Walgreens is a national chain... so I have access to refills wherever I may be visiting. Some tips for the frustrated: -use the Walgreens app to order meds & dont show up until u know meds are ready... -come IN instead of using pharmacy drive thru (it may even be quicker) -remember pharmacy lunch hr is 1:30-2PM -remember pharmacy closes 5PM Sat & Sun I know what it's like to have chronic health conditions....my conditions aren't made better by being a jerk. I don't remember the last time I had to leave a bad review! But I have had to call the pharmacy a number of times this last week and typically am on hold for 30 to 45 minutes, a couple of times having someone hang up on me right when they answer and having to start over again. There has been a lot of confusion with our order, and a lot of trips made for a few simple things. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this Walgreens pharmacy, we finally switched and are very happy with where we are now! read more

The store is always either low or out of stock on a number of items I regularly buy. Due to that fact I have switched to buying from either grocery stores or ordering from Amazon. Neither of which are ever out of stock on the items I need to buy. As for the pharmacy, it is hit or miss depending on who is on duty. Seems like the "A" team isn't there nearly enough. The others aren't well enough versed in how to run script pricing through manufacture programs. A savings of several 100's of dollars. I take a lot of meds and need all the help possible on cost. I have had too many bad experiences here to not finally leave this review. Over the years they have made so many mistakes that after using Walgreens for 20 years I am looking at other options. It can't be worse than this. The most recent incident (of many): Walgreens canceled my prescription. They didn't let me know about this in Any way. They didn't call. They didn't text me (I am subscribed to texts), they didn't notify me (I have their app). This is a medication I can't just not take every day. I was told if I run out and can't get more from the pharmacy for any reason that I should go to the ER to make sure I don't miss a dose. When I realized it wasn't in my order the next morning and called they blamed it on their new computer system. When I went in on my way to work that morning since, again, I needed to take it; they said, "it'll be ready in about 30 minutes"... despite knowing they messed it up, and despite me calling in ahead of time, so I guess I'll have to go to work and then come back to get the prescription They messed up, meaning I was late to work for nothing, and my dose will be late no matter what I do... Every single staff person here is friendly in this well stocked and well lit store, but the pharmacy staff are rock stars of customer service even when the drive through is super busy and the inside lines for prescriptions and flu shots are long. It is unfortunate for me to have been in enough times in the last thirteen weeks to have enough experience to marvel at all of this and before I shared that observation here on Yelp I told both the pharmacist who 'shot me' with flu vax yesterday and always cheer filled and efficient Austin at the pharmacy service window how impressed I was for my observations of the last many weeks of regular visits. Old enough to remember how my gradeschool teacher announced President Kennedy had been killed and with onset of a progressive central nervous system disease as a college student in the second Nixon term, one might think age and that diagnosis would make me a person well versed in pharmacy service for umpteen meds. But not so as thanks to good luck and also hard work to stay in good general health, I need not a single 'regular rotation' medication even at the age where it makes docs say "Really! Not one?" in surprise when looking at a new patient's med chart during office visit. Well, up until the last 3+ months when there have been a couple of meds and refilled regularly to treat a stubborn issue. So it goes in these last thirteen weeks I have been a regular customer in this Walgreens to observe how many people need all kinds of meds filled here and how well the pharmacy staff manages all. (Even events like a customer having meltdown to learn their insurance will not cover much of the cost of the med their doctor prescribed, a problem the pharmacy staff did not create nor can they fix it for insurance policy but the angry customer sure expected them to do that.) And the pharmacists are helpful answering questions or giving instructions about the meds one has been prescribed and I've observed how well they do that for all ages of people at all levels of understanding. Kudos all around. Notes: LUNCH BREAK: The pharmacy is closed daily from 1:30 - 2:00 when staff takes a well earned lunch break. ACCESSIBILITY: Ample accessible (aka ADA) parking in front of store, level in the door, lots of clear floor space in aisles. LOO: Some stores have locked theirs during covid19, this one (ADA accessible) is open and sparkling clean. COVID19 MANAGEMENT: Masks worn by all staff, masks required by all customer over the age of two, 6' spacing distances marked on floor at pharmacy and check out. ICE CREAM!: I didn't know Walgreens had a few grocery items in their stores but so they do. Including a freezer with ice cream. When I was a kid in Portland and went to the doctor for vaccines my mom and I would stop for cherry ice cream sodas on the way home. Going in for a flu shot here seemed like a pretty good reason to go home with a carton of Ben and Jerry's Cherry Garcia from the freezer case. read more

This is a bad service oriented pharmacy- very bad. "Slow" would be suggesting they move at all. Waiting 20/30 minutes is standard. No "hello", "hi", "how can I help you?" - nothing. It's pretty bad. Highly recommend the Albertsons Pharmacy directly across the street. My insurance prefers WallGreens - but , I've successfully been putting that change off. Just ridiculous that this store/pharmacy is in Idaho. read more

After waiting on hold for 20 minutes, a pharmacy technician took my call. When I asked to sync-up my prescriptions, she told me that this was not convenient at the moment and would have to take my number so someone could call me back. The Eagle pharmacy is constantly backed up at the drive-through and the lines in the store are longer than they should be. Unfortunately, todays incident was the last straw and I transferred my prescriptions to another local pharmacy with better customer service. read more

Today (1:30 PM) and it is a holiday but I went to get eye drops for pink eye and was greeted with "we seem to have a problem with your insurance". We're going to lunch so come back in an hour and a half and bring your insurance card and maybe we can help you. It's not like they have to count pills...all they had to do was look up my insurance history and pull a small box of drops from the shelf. So now I will wait for Monday and go to Customedica for service. Thanks for nothing Walgreen's and I will never do business with you again. read more

June works in the cosmetic department and she is awesome!!! I was in today looking for a new foundation, as the product line I've been wearing for the past few years just wasn't living up to my expectations. I felt like I needed a little more coverage and needed help finding the right color for my skin tone. June was very attentive, listened to what I was looking for and got me started with a couple of products and all were on sale, to boot! I tried the exfoliating cleanser tonight and my face feels great. Will have to update once I try my new foundation. June is the gal to see if your looking for a change because let's face it ladies; you almost have to be a scientist to find the right colors. read more

I came by at four and the tech told me they didn't bother to fill my prescription because my insurance doesn't cover it. I was in the photo department today, a very nice lady was helping me. The phone rang a couple of times and this very large loud male manager began yelling at the girl who was helping me that she needed to be answering the phone on the second ring. She told him that she had her hands full as she was helping a customer, and he didn't even look at me, he just kept tearing into her about answering the phone is important. He didn't answer the phone because he was helping a different customer, there was somebody behind the counter that was there that didn't answer the phone. But he was tearing into this poor gal. I felt so bad for her, she did an excellent job helping me she was very polite she was very professional and this angry manager who works on Saturday morning was very unprofessional and he was a bully. If he's this aggressive with her in front of customers, I can't imagine how nasty he must be in private. read more

I was very sad that the Walgreen's closer to my house closed. This was the next most convenient, and it's been growing on us. It's a nice and relatively new store. Very friendly store clerks. We have a chronically ill family member, and I come here often for prescriptions. They've started greeting me by name at the pharmacy. Although sometimes they are out of our needed medicine, they're always willing to help me find it at another Walgreens store. The pharmacy staff has been kind and informative, willing to answer all my questions. read more

After waiting 7 minutes for the car in front of us, we finally pulled up to the window & were told it was not ready. This isn't the first time we've had a delay like this - it happens EVERY time. We do a lot of pharmacy business as we have a couple of people in our family with chronic illnesses, including cancer. I'd say we probably go to Walgreens a minimum of twice a week, maximum of 4 times, spending at least $1,000 a month on prescriptions. Most of the pharmacy techs and pharmacists I've worked with have been nice and patient, which is saying a lot, since while waiting you usually watch at least half the customers get angry. However, Walgreens is managing this pharmacy VERY poorly. They do way too much business for the number of people working there. It shows very little concern for the customers to have so few workers for the number of people they serve. Yesterday I called with a question about filling a prescription they didn't normally stock, and I waited on the phone for a full 15 minutes before speaking to anyone. Also this week, my physician had to fax in a prescription twice which they said they didn't receive, and then he went to the pharmacy, showed them his confirmations, and they had no explanation-- just said they didn't know what happened to his faxes. It usually takes two hours for an antibiotic to be ready after your doctor has called it in or 20 minutes if you show up, no matter how long ago you called it in. Medicine is just never ready in a timely manner. I actually feel sorry for the people who work there. Unfortunately we are taking our business elsewhere. read more

Very inefficient pharmacy. First, they open at 9:00 A.M. Rather then 8:00 like the store. They could at least take calls from Drs. and start filling prescriptions at the earlier time in an attempt to get a jump on their day, something they obviously need. After initially calling them at 8:30 and learning they are not open my Dr called later only to be placed on hold. He called later and again was placed on hold. 15 minutes later he finally was able to place his request. I was then contacted by the nurse and informed the prescription had been placed. 50 minutes later I drove through the drive through and was told they "just" received the call. When I stated it was actually called in nearly an hour prior the gal rolled her eyes at me. This location obviously needs more staff and/or a new manager. I will not use them again, I have received much better service at Walmart. read more

I have used Walgreens for years for their "convenient drive thru service." I got exceptional customer service at the Garden City store off of State Street and Hwy 55 and for some reason they decided that they needed to close that store. I have to say that the customer service at the Eagle store has always been sub par. Connie, the lady that is usually there during the day is so slow and unprofessional it is disgusting. I cringe when I see her face. You can count on her taking 4 times longer than most people to get anything done. Jeff is very nice but it seems that they are always understaffed and don't have the meds that I need in stock. They will mix my prescriptions with different manufacturers in one 30 day supply. Is Walgreens becoming a drug clearing house where they just settle for anything. If it wasn't for the drive thru, I would definitely go somewhere else but who wants to get out of the car and go sit and wait with a bunch of sickies inside the store? I hope that Walgreens steps it up and gets some training for their employees. Last night I was told to get out of line and my RX should be ready in 20 minutes. After about 40 minutes I drove back around only to be told that they didn't have my meds. Needless to say, I was livid. Next up....a letter to Walgreens Corporate. read more
