This is the location of the corporate office park for Walgreens. The buildings are all interconnected through a raised walkway which makes it nice when the weather is bad. The main building is nice inside and has plenty of lobby seating before a sales meeting. Inside there is so much memorabilia about the Walgreens family and how they got their start in the pharmaceutical business. It truly is a business passes down through the generations. The office park is located next to the highway for easy access and there is plenty of free parking if you want to come inside and see all the Walgreens collected merchandise through the years. read more

This is the corporate headquarters of Walgreens and from here, office workers support the company with finance, marketing, human relations and global technology. The executive leadership offices are here as well. To date, I have reviewed 87 Walgreens locations across 29 states https://www.yelp.com/collection/RlYqMHI6txX_4d151MNRiA and most of them start off with something like "A quick stop" because Walgreens is nothing if not efficient. They're also extremely formulaic with store formats that do not change much whether you're in Las Vegas or Lombard. A few exceptions here where the stores in urban locations like downtown Milwaukee that are less pharmacy and more convenience store. Walgreens is of course mostly pharmacy but along they way, they are selling greeting cards and cosmetics and personal care and over-the-counter medications and snacks and where legal, beer and wine. I have seen photo development/printing services in Walgreens locations. My two 2-star reviews were those urban locations. Across my 87 reviews, Walgreens, they average 3.4 with the location in Hagerstown Maryland being the only 5-star I've rated. I have yet to work with corporate directly other than through their webpage. So this review lands at 3 stars to match that average. Will I continue to shop Walgreens? Absolutely. This review is not for any particular location but for the main corporation of Walgreens. I made an order for holiday cards that were shipped to my home. Upon review of the holiday cards, I noticed that the paper used for the photos were not the upgraded card stock that I was charged for. Also, one of the photos has an ink stain printed on every card...this spot is not on the original photo. Due to unsatisfactory service, I proceeded to call customer service for assistance. I was placed on hold for approximately 25 mins and then received an automated message noting that the call could not be connected. I called again and was connected to a representative who "forwarded" my call to the photo department which again was unsuccessful. This is poor service and I will never use or recommend this service in the future. read more

Walgreens Corporate HQ is located here. assume their 800 number for their pharmacy is centralized here. have been a short time sufferer of their ineptness in fulfilling prescriptions for a year or two: -robot calls to pick up prescriptions often are "dry runs"-impartial fills on orders or none at all. -when i refill prescriptions by phone. robotic answering service tells me it will be ready by 8 a.m. recently, it has not been. -local pharmacy often says no orders have been received. Aetna bears some responsibiliy too. Walgreens should have been more transparent. -waiting in line wasn't productive either.....so, adios Walgreens! read more

Getting so very tired of your stores not having products that your website says they do and vice versa. Customers time is valuable in case you haven't noticed or even care. I currently have Covid and was looking for a particular kind of throat spray. Your website said my local store had it. So, my husband goes to local store and no throat spray. Conversely, prior to being diagnosed with Covid at an urgent care facility, we were looking for a Covid home testing kit. Tried several nearby Walgreens stores, none of which had them --- supposedly. Later the same day, my husband happened to stop into one of your stores and, lo and behold, there was a display of two different types of home testing kits. I mean, really. 20 minute wait & no service. Recently I had a to pick up a prescription at the Deerfield's Walgreens. It didn't renew automatically, so I called it in. Several days later I went to pick it up and Walgreens was updating their system and needed information I gave them earlier. It took 20 minutes on a day I did not have 20 minutes. I asked for a manager, with no help. So I moved the prescription to TeleScript that has notified me of when the prescription is running out and has free delivery. I would much support a local Pharmacist trying to build a business then a large corporation with poor customer service. He will price match also. read more

Tried to order about $100 of skin care at Walgreens.com about ten days ago. The order still has not even been filled, let alone shipped. Finally called support to cancel the order and provide a refund, but was told customer service cannot do that. (Really??? Great customer service ) So my money is tied up in limbo for God knows how long, and I'm going to have to go out in person to a brick-and-mortal pharmacy. Walgreens has some shady business practices. Item advertised on sale for $6.99 online with a $2 digital coupon - coupon refuses to load. Go to the store the item is on sale for $7.49 with a physical coupon attached to it - they refuse to honor the $2 digital coupon which won't load but says it's good in-stores and on-line and they refuse to honor the physical coupon citing it's expired - well take it off! Stupid I have to go outside and do curbside to save $0.50 on the item and try to get the coupon to apply because you don't empower your employees to make smart business decisions not to mention I'm holding up the line. Consumer beware: go elsewhere. If you specifically ask, prior to purchase, if something can be returned and again when you are returning the item Walgreens will not honor it!!!! As the item was being returned the employee told me it was not a problem, other customers have returned the same thing. At the very end the system gave her an error message stating no return for the item. I was lied to and deceived at purchase to get a sale!!! Walgreens can't stand behind what a customer was told by multiple employees and PRIOR to purchase. Disgusting. I have returned maybe one thing in my life to this store!!!! From Aurora CO, 80015. It took over 8 hours....over 8 hours....to get pain killers after 2 root canals, a bridge and other things.... took the script to my walgreens and told the clerk that I had been given novicain shot at arount 1130 am....it is now 1:00 pm.....my script was ready....after telling them what I went through and I needed it asap...I was told in about 4 hours....the shot the dentist gave me is gone....in total pain...I wrote god and country..... guess what time my script was filled....9:09 pm..... on the little thing on there site said my script would be done by 3:00 pm..... so...I have not drank alcohol for years because of my pancrease...but, you cant sleep while in pain...so, I had to go against my doctors wishes and had to drink alcohol for the first time in 10 years...all because this broken butt walgreens has no....no compation...they do not think of customers first...they think there profits only! They pay minimal wage so they cannot keep any person working there....most walgreens out of 5 stars are rated 2 stars at best.....they close on veteran holodays...not the store....the pharmacy only (because veterans have all day to pick up things, make sure you get to the pharmacy before they close for 4 days ...who cares about the meds we need...they needed time off. Well, all there time off did not get things fixed.....8 hours after telling the clerk why I needed the drug....and since I could not sleep and the pharmacy does not open until 10:00 today......guess how I am feeling.....cant eat...to much pain, cant do anything when your mouth is in pain....except try to tell the folks who put you in so much pain to fix it! We are done, moving to KIng Soopers pharmacy today.....at least I can shop and wait.....and I have never had to wait 8-9 hours to get a script from King Soopers. read more

I did everything and was ready to order only to find out that none of the 20 stores around me has this product available per their web site. I contacted their cust serv via on-line chat. Walgreens came to our hometown many years ago. Their Pharmacy had great customer service and a drive-through which was unheard of at the time. They cause some of the competition to institute their own drive-throughs and others to close. Many of us changed our prescriptions to Walgreens because of the great and speedy service. Now, years later, after our community has given Walgreens many years of business and our hard-earned money, they pay us back by having a skeleton crew operating the pharmacy. They are negatively impacting people's health! Several times I have done a telephone renewal for a prescription for my mother and I am told by the automated system "the Dr. Will be contacted for the refill." and many times the Dr. is not contacted at all. This impacts my mom's health because then she is without her medication for days! The skeleton crew is constantly working non-stop. I feel so bad for them. I used to get so upset at them until I realized it is not their fault service is so slow. I bet they cannot even take their legally bound breaks. I have had it with Walgreens having to wait over 30 minutes time and time again in the drive-through. People need their medications! I have children I have to attend to and cannot afford to be waiting 30 minutes plus just to pick up meds at the drive-through! Walgreens does not want to support local jobs and local health. I hope everyone here in Orange County CA. decides to find a better pharmacy that actually cares about their health and not just the profits! I have decided to change my rating to a three only because there are a lot of friendly people, the problem was resolved, and the units are amazingly beautiful! read more

Walgreens management of its pharmacies is horrific. They grossly understaff their pharmacies and pharmacy staff are hobbled by inadequate and archaic software systems and processes for managing their prescription requests. Our prescription ended up in the dead zone between being faxed to our local Walgreens pharmacy by physician and not being entered into their prescription management software system. It took a MONTH to get needed pain medication / refill after personally showing up three times after being called contacted with "prescription ready for pickup" automated call , I literally waited three hours then again 1.5 hours in line to be told they did not have any record of the prescription. Walgreens has cornered of the pharmacy market in our area, one of two local competitors Lucky pharmacy, they just bought them out and shut them down. No way to transfer prescriptions because Walgreens staff doesn't answer the phone or they hang up on callers repeatedly waiting on line over an hour. Horrific business practices , Walgreens hobble, deny access to correctly prescribed drugs for cancer pain and then deny, block a patients ability to transfer their prescriptions to different local pharmacy chain or store. Shame on you! You've lost all our business and many others who live on the San Francisco peninsula. Walgreens, you are setting yourselves up to be sued in a class action law suit for monopolistic behavior and grossly inadequate business practices. read more

i ordered a transport chair from Walgreens.com. on AUGUST16th they took my order after they had me open an account that included all my contact information and payment information. walgreens told me they would not charge me for the purchase until they could confirm the order. they put a pending purchase on my order that i was not aware would happen. i was also told that after i placed an order i would not be able to cancel it. on AUGUST 20th walgreens cancelled my order. the pending purchase price is $114.00. I checked my account and the pending purchase of $114.00 was still listed. I called WALGREENS.com and a very nice customer service representative told me the pending purchase $114.00 would be released by August 28th. read more
