I have never had a negative, poor experience at this Walgreens! There is plenty of parking and I find the location extremely convenient. Easy-in, and easy-out! Also, the pharmacy staff is courteous and knowledgeable. The pharmacy drive-through is convenient to use. Store aisles are always well-stocked and seasonal items are rotated. I often frequent this location when I don't feel like going inside Super Walmart. Sometimes, I just prices may be slightly higher than Walmart, but I but I don't mind because shopping here is just so convenient for me. I am always happy to see familiar employees. They don't have extremely high turnover with employees. read more

Thanks to Southwest airlines, my luggage was lost, including my medication that I needed for my vacation. This was one of the nearest pharmacy stores to the hotel that I was staying in and so I decided to come here to try to get my medication. The only problem is that my hospital is not in Florida. But the the pharmacy department at my hospital had reassured me that I can have my prescription can be transferred to a local pharmacy and be filled. When I came into this Walgreens, I walked to the back for the pharmacy and explained my situation to the pharmacy tech. She reassured me that this be taken care of, no problem and that I should get a phone call within the hour to pick up my medication. Also that the pharmacy does close around 9 pm so I had plenty of time. After not hearing anything from the pharmacy all day, I gave them a call around 5:30 pm. I was told that the pharmacist had left a message with my pharmacy from my hospital and that no one had called them back to transfer my prescription. However, that was a lie as the number for the pharmacy department does not allow for provide an option for one to leave a message. When called the number, a recording informs the caller how many people are ahead of you and how long the wait may be. I was upset that this Walgreens was being lazy in not trying to call my pharmacy to help me with my medication and had the nerve to lie to me. This pharmacy whole heartedly earns 1 star for their lack of care and customer service. I do want to mention that I was very fortunate to find a pharmacist to help me at a CVS clinic in a Target location not too far from this Walgreens to fill my prescription. Even though he was about to close, he helped me. This Walgreens would definitely not go out of their way to help you, so take your business elsewhere. read more

Yes unfortunately I use this pharmacy but they're usually rude had some pharmacist named Nick that I never heard of answer the phone today and tell me I did not used to get my Klonopin two or three days early that for the last 5 years it's only been one day early but I have the receipts to prove wrong and if you Google on the internet it says 2 days is the law to pick them up unless the pharmacist feels like it's a hassle or your abusing which they accuse everybody as soon as they see you that everybody is a drug addict and that's probably because of the fact that they owe millions and millions of dollars from being sued for getting out than narcotics too early in other states not in Daytona Beach The girls the answer the phone generally are nice and there is a nice pharmacist but the fact that you can't pick up your medication especially one like I've been on Klonopin one day early is bullcrap It should still be 2 days early especially if you have a record in their computer of all the time that you've been on the medication!! Honestly I don't think the pharmacist should have say so and when you can pick up your medication because if I'm picking up medication from a pharmacy I'm doing it the right way I went through a doctor and not out on the streets looking for anything because it would probably be easier to find and a lot less hassle and probably a nicer person but if not at least you don't have to deal with being scrutinized when you call for your prescriptions but it's messed up that Daytona has so much crime and poverty yet the ones that are doing the right thing and going to doctors are penalized especially when Walgreens had their share of being sued earlier this year not our problem We are patients We are not in control of your store so that's pretty pathetic that you can't do two days cuz one day extra is going to matter that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard and this Nick guy that I've never heard of says he's worked at all of them You know how much I hear that whenever I go to a store in Daytona that I've been to like years on end and these people pop out of the woodwork and they're like yeah I worked here several times It just goes to show how uncaring America is especially when it comes to people's disabilities not everything always works out perfect to where you always have all the prescription or you got sick and you were taking your prescription and throwing it up so not everything goes according to what the pharmacist thinks they should be ashamed of themselves wish I could sue them.. read more

I am squeamish about injections but Mr. Somers made me feel comfortable and distracted my thoughts with a pleasant conversation. It was over before I knew it. Thank you Walgreens! read more

Every time I use this pharmacy there is an issue. They give a pick up time for prescription to be ready. It NEVER is. They call, tell me they have to order, then it still isn't ready, the co pay is wrong. A prescription that was supposed to be ready last week, still isn't ready Tuesday. I had to wait 30 additional minutes while they completed and corrected. But no apology, this is the last time! read more

I moved to Daytona Beach a year ago. I took all my refills to them as they are the closest pharmacy to me. I used them for about 2-3 months and I'd had enough. Prescriptions not ready when I drove up there when they said they were. A VERY long wait if you come straight from the hospital with prescriptions. I saw a very old and sick man talking to the Pharmacist...he had a hospital band still on. The pharmacist sent him to the back of the line.....to wait. 5 people in front of him. I felt so badly for that old man. I let him go in front of me, but we both had a long wait. I didn't go to the drive thru, because it was so backed up. There are so many employees there, I don't understand the wait times. There is one pharmacist there that is very nice, I wish I remembered his name. There is another pharmacist there who acts like he's doing YOU a favor. I finally had enough and moved all my scripts to another pharmacy across the street. My mother has been going to Walgreens forever and now she doesn't like it because they've stopped calling her when her scripts are ready, they always use to. She's 82 and doesn't need this aggravation, so I'm going to move all her scripts as well if they don't straighten up. read more
