Part 1 of 2.. One of MANY poor experiences at this place!!…read moreI waited for almost 10 minutes with ONE customer in front of me, and TWO staff members in store. Whether or not one was supposed to be on a register, the one girl did everything BUT, including talking on the phone, and taking a smoke break AND additional personal call on her cell phone with patrons still waiting in line. And the gentleman behind me made the same comment, as soon as he walked up in line behind me, sharing that this is a common occurrence for him as well, and we both frustratingly joked that we thought we were standing in a "SPEEDWAY"... This is not the first time I've had this negative experience with this particular staff member; there have been NUMEROUS encounters with her that I can recall, whereby I took notice that she was doing other things besides her job; or not managing her time/customers appropriately. Just recently, she refused to accept my roll of quarters as payment, nor would she give me $10 bill in exchange of $10 roll of quarters and the same girl refused and said that it was against company policy, which I found odd since I thought a gas station was always in need of more coin change. Regardless of the reason, she was extremely rude to me treated me like an idiot for even making the request. I then asked for her to give me "change for a $20 bill" and she sarcastically replied, "Now THAT I suppose I CAN do", speaking in a very condescending tone. Not only have I witnessed other patrons being told they are not allowed to use the restroom, I've also been denied this myself. And the few times I have been granted access, they were absolutely disgusting and it made sense to me why people are often denied this...because your staff doesn't keep them clean, and would maybe rather spend their clocked in time taking smoke breaks and personal calls, especially this particular girl... Most of the time, she seems frustrated and distracted and just does not seem to enjoy her job at all. The other girl, manning the register at the time, is quite friendly, just very slow. I've seen her there several times before and do not believe she's new, but seems to struggle with simple tasks, seems to get easily distracted during transactions. I'm all for being friendly, however a conversation with a patron should never take longer than the transaction itself and if both cannot be succeeded at the same time, maybe she needs more training when the store is not congested with people who are just simply wanting to pay for gas and move on...??) --anyway, my review as follows: Too bad it is not an option to give ZERO stars BECAUSE I SWEAR-- this is the SLOWEST and worst gas station ever!! Depending on the direction from which you are driving, it tends to be the most accessible for its location ONLY, as it can get very congested throughout the day and the stop lights at this intersection are already lacking in speed, which just adds further insult to the injury of frustration I gain, each time I make the mistake of stopping at this dreaded gas station. It takes a lot for me to take MORE time to actually leave a review; therefore, this means it MUST be REALLY bad, and from the other frustrated patrons I tend to be stuck in line with, who seem to share the same sentiment, I now am convinced that I am not being hypersensitive!!! It's a double edge sword because the staff that works quickly (when they're actually working and not taking a smoke break with a line of people at the one open register they unfortunately abandon their unskilled staff peer to manage...and then STILL take even more time to come back in from their break and correct/assist, as we've all stood anxiously awaiting their cigarette to burn out and/or for their personal phone call to end, OR the pleasant workers are SOOO slowwww, and seen to have no idea what they're doing, and shouldn't be left alone to fend for themself, THEN be trained on how to do so with 5+ people waiting in line. (Check date & time was 11ish am) Being a former human resources manager and customer service specialist I cannot stand when I see a line of people and a staff member gives the phone more attention than the customers who are standing right in front of them. It is "classified" as a convenience store and ironically named "Speedway" though, not only is it MOST inconvenient, rather it is one of the slowest gas stations I've ever been to!! I would never hypocritically comment on something that I haven't done myself and one of my very first jobs was at a gas station as a cashier/attendant, and no matter how bad my day was going or how rude some of the customers could be, a major part of my job was to have a smile on my face and be pleasant and helpful to each and every person that walked through the door. If your staff is not properly trained, or people tend to annoy them and they have a difficult time masking this emotion in front of the patrons they are supposed to be tending to? (TBC)

This place is a joke. Never open. In the the park lot in the morning and the cut off all the light…read moreon you so it funny and then turn them back on. No wonder they can't get people to work there the two people that do work at this location is so nasty rude
