My rating is based on my experience and interactions with the workers in this store…read more I came here looking for hair oil to help with my summer hair- dry and frizzy hair (some women might relate). Anyway, I was overwhelmed because there's a lot of choices, but one of the sales associates was very helpful explaining the differences of the products. Regardless, I ended up buying a product I'm familiar with- Argan oil by Hask. The checking out was very fast and efficient, the cashier was even kind enough to keep my bag while I asked to use their restroom. I am very disappointed with the outside of the store- it's full of trash and cigarette butts, I even noticed 2 people that appeared to be homeless outside the store (they have bags and other stuff next to them, they seemed to be getting comfortable sitting under the awning). This is one of the newer Walgreens in the area, from the outside it starts to show how it's accommodating itself to the city, but the inside seemed to be well organized, clean and well stocked. This also helps that Kroger partnered with Walgreens calling the program Kroger Express.

Unfortunately, this employee was noticeably rude and dismissive during our all interaction. Her tone and manner were unprofessional and made my shopping experience unpleasant. As a loyal Walgreens customer, I expect courteous and respectful service, and this behavior fell far below that standard. I hope management will address this matter promptly to ensure that other customers do not have a similar negative experience. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.

This pharmacy is a flashback to the days before I was born. When pharmacies weren't big chains and…read moreyou didn't get treated like total crap every time you walked in. Before Cincinnati, I lived mainly in college towns, the most recent being, Bloomington IN. So I went to CVS. I may be fairly young but I am on quite a few medications. Which I would fill at appropriate times. A normal pharmacy works like this. You wait through a long automated message. You call in your prescription. You go to get your prescription 5 hours later. First, they can't find it. Second, there's a problem but we couldn't be bothered to call you. Third, oh we lost all the paperwork and just didn't fill it so wait another half an hour. Now we shall compare this to the absolute worst and busiest times in which I have tried to pick up a prescription at Schaeper's. 1. I was once put on hold for about 10 full seconds and they apologized. 2. I once showed up 15 minutes after calling in a prescription and had to wait 5 minutes for them to get it ready. 3. I had an insurance issue over a prescription (which, unfortunately, I half expected). They quietly pulled me aside and were about 10x more concerned about the issue than I was. I should also mention that it's a pharmacy that I can walk to. And that, much to my surprise, I don't pay a cent more than I did at big name pharmacies. I'm all for paying more to support the smaller guys but when it comes to medicine, it can be hard to find extra in your budget. Oh and every time there has been a minor issue, there's always someone who is immediately on it! Even if it's not their problem and it's the insurance company, they'll have that person on the phone while you wait! The only one real negative are the hours. Open until 7 with shorter hours on Saturday and closed on Sunday (they do offer delivery). Best to keep another 24 hour pharmacy around if you need something filled fast. So please, support this pharmacy!!! And don't be scared because it likely won't cost you extra!

I pulled out my Yelp app and did a quick search for drugstores in the area to see my options. I think everyone falls into a camp regarding their preferred drug stores, CVS or Walgreens. I'm a Walgreens gal since I've always lived closer to them so away I went to this location. It was big! Very spacious and clean. Some stores have very tight aisles. Not here! You could do cartwheels (don't do cartwheels). They had a solid selection of sunscreen and I grabbed what I needed and made my way to the checkout. It was one of those days where everyone in front of me had some sort of issue. Coupons not working, needing a special item locked up, a manager needed to assist, etc. So I ended up waiting longer than I would have liked since they only had one register open, but that's my only complaint. Can't speak to the pharmacy or anything more specific here but if you're running errands in the area or are staying nearby and need something, it's a good bet you'll find it.
