Apparently, I should have checked the ratings on this place sooner. It would have confirmed what I've suspected for some time. The service is clearly substandard. The counter staff are angry, rude and unprofessional. The pharmacist has questionable competence. How do I know? They sent me home with the wrong medication my last trip. And apparently, they don't know that when they sell injectable medication, they need to sell the implements with which to inject the medicine. I'd avoid this place. read more

This is my local pharmacy and I have never been happier with a pharmacy. They are punctual, keep their promise on their time quotes, and usually professional except for one person. They always pick up the phone and the wait in the drive thru is the fastest I have seen at any pharmacy. I'm so glad our new local pharmacy is this one and now I don't have to dread going to the pharmacy. read more

The buildings falling apart, it sucks, I drive a quiet car and still have to turn it off to hear the pharmacist scream through the drawer because the mic/speaker don't work. Today had my car shut off and some Jack wagon in a loud truck pulled up and I couldn't hear anything the pharmacist said to me about the meds or how much it cost, I just shoved my card into the drawer. read more

Was in the middle of getting prescriptions filled and they cut us off and said they were going on lunch break and to come back in about an hour. It was ironic because my fiancé and I both had the same prescriptions submitted at the same time from the same place. But yet only her prescriptions were done even though they were both express pay / pre-paid. And yet they told me this while I was sitting there at the drive through window, just handed my fiancé her medication, then they basically start locking up the windows and everything and said sorry you'll have to come back later...... I have the flu... I am sick as hell... it was already a chore just to get to a doctor and then drive across town to finally get a prescription?!?!? I DON'T understand how any customer Service facing job could be allowed to behave in such manner. My finance and I both need our medicine. This is terrible, unacceptable. read more

Avoid this location. The pharmacy is damned rude. One of their workers threw a bag at me, no manager to complain to since he takes weekends off. Avoid this location. Use CVS read more

It's not enough that the place has crawling bugs, they have to treat the customer like one. They can't even refill your prescription nor inform you about it when they know your life depends on it. They miss medication, customer support or any decency. Staff screams at you for not "knowing" their new procedures. You would think you go inside a prison not a medical place. read more

Photo department needs training on customer service. Maybe the labor shortage has impacted the department. Received wring price. Promised adjustment was ignored. Reaching store manager impossible. I will go to another location next time. Don't waste your time. read more

Ordered photos to include with gifts to bring some cheer to an elderly aunt. I was on my way to mail them, so paid and left before realizing the quality was horrible and on numerous photos, the heads of people were cut off! Of course I'll take them back and get a refund, but now I've lot two days in getting them in the mail, plus the time spent going to the store and then back to the post office. It's hard to think this kind of sloppy work is acceptable, even if it's extra busy during the holidays. I'm very bummed and don't plan to go to Walgreen's at all any more. I'm not taking the time to post photos here, but believe me, you don't want to see pictures of my sweet old grandmother with no head. Or my teenage sis with no head. Or my husband - headless. It's really not even funny now. read more

The store was very clean, and I was able to find what I needed. However, the customer service was terrible. I was waited on by a female cashier that he no personality whatsoever. I attempted to pay for 4 items with my debit card, but the chip and swiper wouldn't read it. After inserting the chip, she said "please swipe." After that didn't work, she said, "now insert." This went back and forth several times, until I asked if she could punch in the number. She said, "no. Please swipe." So, we did that dance a few more times. I started as the only one in line, but now there were 5 impatient people behind me. I could see my car outside, and said, "I'll go grab some cash." The lady said, "you're going to the end of the line." I again asked her to punch the number in, and she refused. For the third time, she did the "swipe/insert" method to no avail. I said, "I have some cash in my car, it'll take 30 seconds." She didn't say a word, she just took my 4 items out of the plastic bag, sat them on the counter, looked at me for about 3 seconds, then turned to the next guy in line and said, "will that be all?" I moved the items to a shelf, grabbed my cash, and walked back in just as another cashier came up to help with the line. I was second in line, and out of curiosity I tried my debit card. It wouldn't scan, so the new, friendly cashier punched in the numbers as a credit card. Cha-Ching! Took a grand total of 1 minute at the second register. All told the original cashier wasted 5-10 minutes of my time, all because she doesn't know how to work the register. read more

This Walgreens on Denton Tap in Coppell is the best pharmacy I have used and I have used a lot. the pharmacists and associates know me by name and I always get awesome customer service. I'm very happy to go here. read more

This place sucks the guy named Sean sucks he has no patience and needs more customer service training. Instead of telling people that he needs the last name to look up your order he just stands there looking at you making the person customer look stupid. read more

I am usually a fan of the Walgreens, this one has not yet won me over. I only have been in a few times and have not gotten that welcome back feeling. My first complaint is it's not a 24 hours store, and they do not open until 8AM. Second complaint no Red Box outside. ;0( If you are in Coppell at 6AM and need something at this time of the hour Tom thumb or Market Streets is the only thing open. Th competitor across the way (CVS) they open at 7AM read more

Love this Walgreens! Jo, the Pharmacist (and all of them!) are top notch; the remember everyone, the staff is always pleasant and they actually answer their phones! We were forced to go to CVS across the street in Coppell for 9 months, and so happy to be back to Walgreens! Super efficient, super friendly and super fast! Thank you Walgreens staff for being better than the rest!! read more

I receive automatic reminders to refill my prescription. Great system. So I always refill online via my phone. Great system. I typically receive an email AND a text when my prescription is ready. So far so good, still a great system. Then I go to my Walgreens pharmacy in Coppell, only to find out the prescription is not ready and I have to wait for them to fill it. And they are busy. I'm completely deflated and as I wait around for my meds I can't help but wonder... what's the point of all this technology if in the end it makes zero difference. (Oh and no apology or explanation. It is what it is...) read more

Truly horrible customer service. They will text you your medicine is ready when it actually isn't, they are understaffed and it takes an unreasonable amount of time to give you your medicine at the window when it finally is ready, and medicine is extremely expensive here. You can find lower prices and better service at different pharmacies. I have used this pharmacy for years but the quality has declined to the point in which I swear I will never again use them to get my medicine. read more

We went here to get some pictures scanned and printed for our wedding and we were helped by a gentleman named Sean and he was an absolute pleasure to work with. He treated us with such kindness, walked us through the process, was cordial, respectful, funny, and professional. Come here if for nothing else for him. read more

I had to switch my pharmacy first of the year. As the has progressed the pharmacy's customer service has gotten much better to a five star from me. Very pleasant, lets you know they will be right with when @ the drive-up window. read more

Poor drive through system. RX not ready when promised, communication leaves something to be desired. Won't be back.

I literally left because of the customer service. Why two stars?! Because they have what is needed. But the staff really needs a friendly energetic face. No one wants to shop when the staff is rude. I asked do you guys sell passport pictures. The girl that came to assist me look at me and said "yes, we do" okay??! Wouldn't you ask the customer "would you like some". I responded okay, I need some please. Still with a blank face. Okay for U.S. passport? Um what other would I need since I live in the U.S? She took the pictures, shows me the picture and they are the worst angle you imagine. I asked her if she could retake it. She was sooo emotionless. This is mainly for the pharmacy section. This is one of the friendliest and quickest pharmacies I've ever been to! They always recommend my mom for different coupons for her medications too. Awesome place. read more

Guys, the Walgreens Pharmacy is awesome. Why? Because I'm going to second Neha M's review. The pharmacists are always happy and smiling here. Walgreens is also super diligent at notifying you on whether you want to refill your prescription, either via text message, email, or their smartphone app. After you refill, they are so stinkin' fast at having my prescription ready that the drive-thru pick-up is a breeze (sometimes my pills are ready in an hour, so it's a quick errand after work). Would I come here again? Definitely. read more

Customer service is key Customer service is key Customer service is key I understand that we all have bad days but judging from the other comments, customer service is always an issue here. Appalling behavior especially for a pharmacy. read more

Drive thru pharmacy is open later on Sundays...thank goodness! I always had issues with my previous Walgreens in getting my prescriptions in the evenings with them closing early Sundays. Speedy friendly service. Walgreens will always be my one stop shop of choice. Plus those rewards points rack up fast!! If you call the pharmacy expect to be put on hold. If you call anywhere near their lunch break don't expect an answer. Oh, and if you get put hold for half an hour and get hung up on don't be surprised. One of these things happens to me every single time. If you can drive there in 10 minutes do it, that way something will get done. read more

This place is chronically understaffed, even in the slowest hours of the day I've waited 20+ minutes to pick up a prescription. They need more people here bad or something, the wait makes me cranky every time! read more

The pharmacy at this location is pathetic. I waited in the drive through (which I thought was for quick pick ups and drop offs) for 30 minutes. The gentleman in the 2nd lane was picking up 10 different prescriptions. 1. Those situations should be handled inside 2. Employee should have asked for assistance since it'd take awhile to fill his order. 3. When I let them know my frustration when I was finally able to speak to someone there was no customer service, no apology. Only go here if you like waiting around read more

This place is clean, offers a few grocery items as well as the normal drugstore items. I mostly use it for photo developing. I feel like they are either understaffed or poorly trained. It seems like there's always a wait. read more

I just want to take the time to say a big thank you to Megan who was working the cosmetics department. She was very helpful (didn't hover) and let me check out with her at her counter for a free sample. She also handled herself very nicely with a couple of rude older ladies- calm, polite and offered assistance by another employee. Of course the two hags stormed off but I still applaud her. Customer service in a corporate company is tough and sometimes no one recognizes the "little guys" who fight the front lines. Thanks Megan! read more

This pharmacy is slow. Granted, most are, but I get prescriptions filled here frequently and it doesn't matter if I drive through or go inside, if it's been called in or I drop it off and wait. I've never had problems getting what I need filled and they are usually kind and helpful but just so so slow. If you plan to fill here, don't expect to do so in a hurry. read more

Okay Walgreens Mgmt I'm officially requesting that your team review current policies that have led to a epidemic of rudeness, udder lack of courtesy, and failure to conjure up so much as a thank you, how about a half hearted smile? Heck I'd be okay with some type of verbal exchange but toss my prescription in a bag and turn away? Ignore my own " thank you?" Today Sun at 12:35, dark hair and glasses (couldn't tell you her name since she didn't speak to me) but worse even the woman last Tuesday the 17th with the sour expression obviously put out by my 9:10 arrival time who although I sought no explanation chose to inform me that she'd just opened the Pharmacy and would need to wait...okey dokey yes ma'am no worries and like the previously mentioned woman simply tossed my bag and shoved the little door open without a comment, thank you,...nada....btw, the drawer with my products in it remained open and nearly resulted in a scratch on my car... surely if everyone's so miserable that they can't manage even the basics of Customer service one would suggest they try another! What are y'all doing to these poor people? I have a staff of 37 and definitely not a perfect group but MANNERS MATTER....I'm moving on to CVS across the street read more

I understand working at a pharmacy is tough and can be a difficult job, but I have tried and tried with this pharmacy and I am out of patience. I believe the poor customer service has been with two of the pharmacy technicians that are employed there- so I can't blame the whole staff but IT IS BAD. They have given me the "run-around" and sometimes untruthful answers. If I do go back, I will unfortunately ask to work directly with the head pharmacist on staff. read more

I have been driving (out of my way) to pick up prescriptions from this location for almost 2 years now. I have experienced some issues with my prescription between the end of 2015 until the middle of last year but non since then, well up until recently. Since I've experienced the same issue before, I contacted the pharmacy just like I have in the past to get it resolved however this time, instead of actually being helped I get interrupted on the telephone multiple times and treated with HORRIBLE customer service. I've had to shell out close to $100 within the past 6 months on a prescription that is supposed to be FREE because the pharmacy did not pay attention to my doctors written orders on my prescription. I've also noticed within the past few months that the customer service in the pharmacy department has declined which is sad because a few of them used to be super nice. Maybe I just keep getting them on days when they're not having a good day? Who knows. I am currently getting my prescription transferred to a new pharmacy and will not be choosing Walgreens again. read more
