Came here and waited 20 mins for covid meds that they didn't have. They had a hard time reaching their other stores. Another 25 mins. Turns out all three walgreens locally out of covid meds. Meanwhile i have a fever and am feeling faint. Had my doc call my regular cvs. Should have started there as they of course had it ready. Walgreens is the worst. Do not go here! Absolutely do not recommend. Consistently unreliable and customer service not knowledgeable and lacking. Simple things from pharmacy to getting envelopes for photo cards (that's WHEN it's even working) Such a great location and local residents still have to take a drive to different Walgreens to have a shot at getting what they need. read more

This place opens when the mood strikes them. Twice this summer I was at the store well after opening and the doors were locked. Today a person came to the door to tell me they opened at 8 and I showed her my phone which clearly showed it was after 8 and she walked away leaving me in the pouring rain. I waited another 10 minutes to no avail. I then tried to call a half hour later to make sure they were open and there was no answer. read more

This location recently changed over to a Walgreens from Rite Aid... So far the service needs to be improved. The change happened a few months ago at this point, and script refills cannot be called in easily over the phone. The process takes long and is ridiculous. There is also no parking lot at this location. The store should really pay to rent space in one of the nearby lots to help their sick clientele find easy parking. I do like Walgreens as a whole, but this location does need to work on improving. read more

If you enjoy standing in like for over a half hour on the pharmacy for a shot, then this is your place. No parking either makes the journey extra fun. Pharmacist helper barely speaks English. I think I aged a year or two being here. The pharmacist was nice and the shot didn't hurt when I got it. read more

It's said everybody has their own relationship with their pharmacy or vendor. I've had nothing but pleasant experiences at this Walgreens. Maybe because I don't go here as often as others but nevertheless the staff has always tried to act in the best interests of its customers. Yes you can see they are overworked and understaffed. You can also see some of their shelves bare and products are out. But that's the nature of supply chain and the new marketplace. It will eventually bounce back. I encourage the staff to keep doing their best, and for customers to have patience until times get better. Horrible. I ordered photos the day before to have them ready the same day. Came the following day to pick them up expecting them to be ready and, of course, they were not. I assumed it would take only a few minutes but they took almost 20 minutes to print. Unfortunately, I got a ticket while waiting for the photos. I switched to this Walgreens pharmacy location because it was closer to me and ended up never getting my prescription filled (despite several calls and varying information on the status of my prescription. ) I'm switching right back to the original location I was using. It's a 15 minute drive vs the 5 minute walk, but apparently the cliffside park location can't figure it out. I wasted more time trying to figure out whether it was ready, only to show up once they told me it was to find out that yet again they found no record until wait oh here it is maybe? But now I don't know... given the number of times I called and the various people I spoke with it seems like this is a consistent problem with the entire store and not just one unfortunate interaction. read more

2 for the store... 0 for the pharmacy. It is run by young adults who clearly have no assistance. Do not come on the weekend because it will take a while to simply pick up your medication. I recommend any other Walgreens.. the extra commute will amount to the wait you will experience. read more

Regardless of whether this store was a Rite-Aid or now a Walgreens, it is has has always been extremely poor management. How it stays in business is mind boggling. Shelves are half empty. With exception of 2 cashiers, all others are one fry short of a Happy Meal. The worst is Pharmacy. The 2 Pharmacists are very knowledgeable but the rest of the staff is consistently in first gear..... . To say they're slow would be a compliment. Always long lines with one person behind counter regardless of whether you're picking up, dropping off or getting a vaccine. The people who work at the pharmacy are the worst. I stood in line for a while and the lady behind the counter didn't even acknowledge me. When she did she was clueless. My medication wasn't even ready for pickup even though the order was given more than 24 hours prior. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. read more

Wow I'm shocked how rude they are in this walgreens. I'm new to this area but it's been a few times now and each time different people behind the register have been extremely rude , completely uncalled for. I saw one woman yelling at a kid customer today. Unbelievable, I changed all my prescriptions over to CVS. read more

Horrible experience every time I enter this pharmacy. No one is ever working or answering calls. I recently moved and now have to use this Walgreens and it is absolutely awful. Expect to be ignored, treated like an annoyance for asking for your meds, and to leave empty handed! Walgreens is also at fault for understaffing their stores, but people need their medication!!! The employees here could not give less of a **** about the people who enter. I just want my meds! No other walgreens has given me this much trouble receiving a prescription. No effort or sympathy on the end of the staff. Terrible terrible store. I always have an easy time at Walgreens except THIS ONE in Cliffside Park. read more

This was formerly a Rite-aid pharmacy, taken over by Walgreens last late summer/early fall. I believe Walgreens acquired most Rite-Aid stores back in 2018. Not all stores changed over at once. This store was completely shut down for about 2 weeks, while the transition began. For me personally it wasn't a major inconvenience, I only go there for prescriptions. Little did I know if you had a Rite-aid refill number for a script, it had to be updated to a Walgreens number. The old system was all automated, enter your refill number what day and what time you wanted to pickup done deal. The new system you must speak to someone in the pharmacy department. So I call follow the prompts, eventually I'm lead to the pharmacy. Now I'm on hold, I have 1 caller ahead of me. Ok no big deal I'll wait. Fast forward 30 mins later I'm still on hold and I still have 1 caller ahead of me. That 1 caller must have a lot going on there. So after 45 mins I hang up and call back first I try the pharmacy again, same message please hold and theres 1 caller ahead of me. Nope no way!! So I call back this time and ask for the store manager, finally I get a human on the phone. My question is can you please connect me to the pharmacy, response their a little backed up and short staffed. Really shocking since ive been trying to refill a script only for an hr now. So the store manger says what is your name, number and script you need refilled and I'll personally walk it over to the pharmacy. Ok will I be getting a call telling me everything is good to go, no you will only get a call if it isn't. Now I tried calling a few hrs later to check if it went through again on the endless hold. So the next day I took a shot and went there to pick it up. For the most part the store is the same, the only glaring difference to me is the aisle signs telling you what's down each aisle. Their miniature signs, nothing that would stand out. My wife needed hairspray which she asked me to pickup, took me 10 mins to find the right aisle. Got the spray, now off to the pharmacy to get my script. Somehow I knew this, when I said pickup for Christian L. DOB Blah Blah Blah, sorry we don't have anything for you. What is it for, I tell them and after a little digging they find it. It was still listed under a Rite-aid number not a Walgreens number like I previously said it had to be changed. The pharmacist was very nice, I think he probably was dealing with these situations since the changeover. I waited about 5 mins no big deal. Finally got the script woo hoo. I will give them the benefit of doubt, changing systems and ways of doing certain things isn't easy I'm sure. I hope In time all the bugs will be worked out read more

This used to be a Rite Aid which I loved. The shelves are partially empty so I will have to probably go somewhere else. I feel bad for the pharmacist that are there the system they are using seems antiquated. I know this just changed over recently but hopefully they will get with the program. I would like to say George the pharmacist has always been extremely helpful and courteous. I was there on a Sunday once and there was a pharmacist and two people behind the counter and a line of people. Only one of the people behind the counter was helping at the register. Completely ridiculous and they didn't seem to care much. They weren't the regular workers that are usually there. All I can say is again I hope Walgreens gets their act together or I will be going somewhere else and I have a feeling so will others. read more

let me just make this as short as possible because my blood is already boiling, staff members sitting around while the line is down the damn store for the pharmacy wait 10 min in line - I'm the only one for a vaccine shot booster everyone else is picking up or buying. I show the email about my appointment they cant find it I waste my lunch time going up their he says he sees my appointment in the store but he cannot give me the vaccine and I'm the only one in line because he is short staff (FALSE) and they only going by appointment that he indicated he sees I'm just upset I wasted my lunch and drive 20-30 min to get the damn booster with health issues and you deny me service with BS excuses SHAKING MY HEAD such trash. I do not bother any one they just lazy and they always have extras because my friend used to work in Walgreens DEF a one star store UGH - Walgreens you all really need to do better, that's exactly why all your employees leave treat them like dirt as well as the customers. read more
