After I talked with the Manager, he immediately addressed the issue. Such a difference & people are 6ft apart.

I was in the Walgreens today to get my vaccination. I was at the window waiting for (Mir) to get through checking me in. He asked for my Drivers License, I gave it to him and he walked away to handle other things in the back. I was at the counter for 10 minutes. During that time, 3 customers came up to the window while I was waiting to give him papers, no one was practicing 6ft distance and there was no stickers on the floor for anyone. After the 3rd person walked up on me I finally asked (Mir) if he was going to address the customers about keeping a 6 ft distance? His reply, "I'm sorry there is nothing I can do." I suggested to tell the customers to please wait in line while finishing with me. His reply was there's nothing I can do when they just come up, sorry. No eye contact and refused to acknowledge the problem or solve it. So I asked to speak to the manager. Jason the store Manager acknowledged there was a lack of Covid protocols and he immediately went to the back to get 6ft floor stickers to put on the floor & immediately people were standing 6 feet apart and no one was traveling up to the window while other customers were up there, they waited in line. I took before and after images to show the difference. So the problem I addressed and gave a solution to for (Mir) which was ignored was immediately fixed by the manager. Before I left the counter to wait to get my vaccine I asked (Mir) if I was getting my Drivers License back? He said I don't see it anywhere and I'm sure I placed it on the counter. Mind you he walked away from the counter twice and I informed him that I understand you were busy juggling multiple things but you did not give me my ID back. I checked my wallet and pockets several times but in the end he insisted he gave it to me. I had the manager check the cameras but he said the angle was bad and you can't really see anything. So instead of getting just a vaccine I'm put in more harms way because I now have to go inside the grocery store to get food since they check your idea for curbside pick up. The manager said he would call if they find anything but (Mir's) lack of care was very adamant and he should not be interacting with customers. But, this is Walgreens and we are in over a Year of the pandemic, you would think that Walgreens would be on top of ensuring the customers follow the 6ft mandate. Other places the employees will immediately address a customer if they are wearing their mask wrong. But (Mir) is either afraid or lacks customer service skills to enforce that, shame on him. I guess if I end up getting sick while waiting to get a vaccine and end up in the hospital I'll just get a disingenuous sorry from him. The only reason why there are 2 stars is because of the Manager Jason and Brandon who was helpful unlike (Mir).

Long lines of irritated people not getting any medicine.....

All aboard the Hot Mess Express. The pharmacy is a disaster. The staff is nice enough, that's not the problem. One will refill a prescription over the phone, arrive to pick it up at the agreed upon time, and subsequently be told they have run out of said prescription. So back you come the next day to pick it up, but not before standing in line another 15 minutes. Or today's special, which is refilling a prescription over the phone, arriving at agreed upon time to pick it up, and have to wait. I'm going on 30 minutes here. Over it. 8/3/18 update - can't take it any more. Picking up final prescription tonight and taking my business to CVS.

Just a drugstore. Nothing much to it. 24 hour pharmacy is a great plus but nothing out of the ordinary.

Staff who treat customers like cattle, long lines, barn-like atmosphere. Always leaves an unpleasant taste in my mouth.

I often stop here after my tutoring gig at St. Ignatius, helping students prepare for the ACT. The…read morestore is often understaffed, but I've never had a problem with service. There is a security guard stationed at the entrance, yes, and reviewers like to point out the surrounding public housing and certain instances of crime. Ok. So a couple of people are committing crimes in the area. Let's be careful about navigating the neighborhood. BUT, let's also be careful about implicitly perpetuating general racist views towards African Americans because of a few bad apples. Yelp loves a good witch hunt, and it's really disappointing. I encourage all of us white allies, Latinxs, and African Americans instead to be reflective of the colonial mindset that imprisons us and to do the hard work to dissolve that. I make sure to smile at the cashier if it's been a particularly long line. Sometimes the pharmacy is backed up with customers so I just check my emails (Tell President Obama: call off raids against immigrant families, Sign the petition: Stop bullying transgender children, Sign if you agree: Ban Bee-Killing Pesticides). The isles and fridges are stocked with food high in trans fat and sodium. Mostly I stop here for the Redbox outside. It's the closest one to me, and the selection is mainly big budget studio films and Tyler Perry knockoffs. I would appreciate stronger indie choices for this location's curation. Half of the available movies are Marvel. Though there are worse things to watch than ScarJo. Her performance in "Under the Skin" was quietly arresting, evoking Hepburn-esque curiosity with merely her eyes, as an alien roaming the Scottish Highlands. Though if I'm truly honest with myself, last year I enjoyed "Lucy" more than I enjoyed "Under the Skin." Because I immediately understood "Lucy." It was weird enough to feel fresh, it appealed to my tastes, I identified with and appreciated the themes, and I wasn't once confused. I recognize that "Under the Skin" is undeniably more challenging, more complex, and better directed. But at the end of the day, I need "Under the Skin" explained to me. I got a vague idea as to some of its themes, particularly right at the end, but most of it made no sense to me until I sought out and read analyses. And I'm always ashamed of myself when this happens, because I feel like I should have been able to figure it out on my own. I sometimes fear that as a viewer I've rendered myself blind to subtlety, growing up watching Michael Bay films and summer movie blockbusters, Hollywood studio films that go big and wear their intent on their sleeve. I had to pause "Birdman" the other day because I couldn't stop crying. I get frustrated and the room gets dark when I try to read and appreciate the hidden meaning in works. Then I start to think maybe the filmmaker is making fun of me. He purposely made something opaque to watch me squirm as I try to squeeze meaning out of something meant to point out my stupidity. It's been my goal to be as well-rounded of a viewer as I can be. So I sometimes rent the Tyler Perry knockoffs, just to cover my bases. I want to be able to appreciate any film on its own terms. But too often I find myself needing things explained to me about a film's intent, and I feel I'm not getting any better at it.

I needed to get very important medications from there and it was first time needing to get it picked up. Pharmacy techs were so condescending and said "we can't help you, please leave," and I saw other pharmacy techs laughing in the background at the fact I'm walking through the drive-thru. Sorry I don't have a car, but maybe you should actually try to prioritize the health of people if you want to be in the pharmacy world when they need help. Worst staff I have ever met.

I made an appointment online, checked in 15 minutes before my appointment via text and the CVS online app. I patiently waited 20 minutes in the "vaccinations only" chair and was never called nor acknowledged. I told two different pharmacy techs that I was there for a vaccine and was told "you'll be called." After 45 minutes I waved the pharmacist over and told him I was waiting for a vaccine. He told me I needed to go to the Minute Clinic, which I did, despite my confirmation text saying to go to the pharmacy counter. I was sent back to the pharmacy and the pharmacist said he'd "found my appointment." So what was supposed to be a seamless in-and-out experience took almost an hour. The pharmacist was pleasant but never apologized for making me wait.
