I must have came in right before the pharmacist where going on their break. I had to pick up a relatives prescription that was supposed to be delivered a week ago. There was maybe 2 people ahead of me, so the line wasn't too bad. There were 2 or 3 pharmacist or techs working. The one person who was picking up my order needed some assistance finding the order and updating whatever on their register. Then they started closing up for their lunch. Had a few more items to purchase and noticed some items like candy were locked away to make it harder for shrink . Then had to wait in the regular line where there were only 2 people working the register. read more

Pharmacy is absolutely terrible, my prescription was put in a day ago, I call to check status the first day the young lady lied and said it wasn't in, (From Where)called back the second day some idiot lied and said my name was spelled wrong and on top of that tried to lie and say that they had an issue with my blue cross insurance. They normally check insurance upon pickup.. I chose to have my prescription picked up on the other side of town because now they are saying it won't be ready until tomorrow 3 days it's taking these air heads to fill a prescription. My prescription was called in by my doctor on 12/22. I got notification that my insurance wasn't covering it, so I called Walgreens. First of all I was on hold 1 hour and 8 minutes then hung up and called the store manager. He said hold on he would help me. He told me as well that my insurance wasn't covering it but I can use goid rx and it would be $29 and some change . I said ok I will be in to get it . When I get there to pick it up ( which it pain medicine) the young lady in the back stated that a man picked up my medicine. I asked who ? They looked at the camera footage and saw the man had been standing around the pharmacy area and may have heard them over the phone on speaker when I was giving my information to the pharmacist or something. I've never sent anyone to get my medication as long as I've been coming there and they know me.i don't know why they would say this man had my information and that's a bold face lie!. Now they aren't filling my prescription even though it was their MISTAKE!!! Just own up to it. You gave medication to the wrong person . I'm looking to file a complaint asap. I don't think corporate is listening because they're still having problems with the pharmacy drive thru being backlogged with cars. Then there's times where the second pick-up lane is blocked off so it's down to one lane with a.long wait time. It's no better inside either and the check out lanes are a joke they need at least 3 registers open to keep the line moving. This is one of the Worst Walgreens I've had to deal with since I moved to this area in 2008! I have called and written Corporate HQ. and still the same horrible service! My prescriptions are rarely right or ready for pickup, not even the Drive Thru long waits poor communication on the speaker box!! This store always have what I'm looking for. Cold Medicine,items on sale and my butter cookies. The staff is very helpful. And by the store having nice people in the pharmacy that is always a big plus. If we are in the store looking for cold Medicine at 11pm at night :-( And still have to go to work in the morning. Ordered pictures online to pick up I store, they was supposed to be ready at 12:45 pm- got to the store at 3:45pm and they hadn't even printed them out! Lady in photo seemed to have an attitude that I was even there to pick up photos. It's safe to say that customer service isn't the best here. Store 3539 (Chicago, IL) My doctor sent my prescription to this pharmacy on 4/4/18 I received a email stating the item was out of stock and was told it should come in in a few days. I decide to stop by after work on 4/9/18 to see if it was in at that time I was told there was no prescription there for me at all. Now here I have been waiting in the drive thru roughly 20 mins already just for the lady to not know what I'm talking about. I told her I have the email stating the prescription was out of stock. I gave her the rx number in the email as well. She eventually said someone may have "accidentally" deleted it out of the system. She assured me that they would call my doc to get another prescription sent over and will contact me. Fast forward 5 more days and I have not heard anything from Walgreens. I call up there today 4/13/18 and the floater pharmacist has no idea what I'm talking about. So yet again this Walgreens drops the ball. Why is that everyone keeps telling me they are going to do something that they aren't!? Why am I chasing down my prescription that you guys deleted!? What if this prescription I need for health reasons and it should have been filled originally on 4/4 and now here it is 4/13 and still nothing. I absolutely hate this Walgreens and have complained about this pharmacy in particular more times than I can count! I hate that it's my neighborhood Walgreens and it's conviently located near my house. This is unacceptable and frustrating to say the least. No one is resolving my problem. The store itself is fine. It's always clean. Cashiers takes FOREVER. The drive up pharmacy workers are very rude and take FOREVER. I went to get some Zyrtec but it was locked up. I asked a worker for assistance. She told me to go to the aisle and press the assistance button. So, I did. And no one came. I waited over 7 minutes before I left and went to Wal-Mart. I switched my recurring monthly prescription to another pharmacy. I'll never go there again. read more

I live near this Walgreens and it's really convenient to stop here on my way to work because it's right by the expressway. HOWEVER, every single time I have come here to buy fruit, it has been just about inedible. I'm a very optimistic person and every time I went, I'd hope that THIS time, it would be different. You can even look at the fruit and tell it's old. It's not fresh at all. I'm stupid. I bought it anyway, only to open it and smell that 'day old fruit' smell. It's disgusting and totally unacceptable and I won't buy fruit from there anymore. What a shame. I even complained on the site and had the store manager promise me that it wouldn't happen again. I think this Walgreens besides being open 24hrs, it has great helpful staff that really want to and enjoy helping their customers. I think this store has what you need when it's late a you may forget things during the day, that you can get here whenever you need them.
