For pharmacy only: I have NOT signed up for auto refill. Yet they still refill. I have called and they check. Yes, I am not signed up for auto refill. This time I get a notice that they are auto refilling my prescription. They are refilling it for 21 pills rather than 90 as usual. Once again I call to find out what is going on. I am told that I am on "Save a trip" plan. That way all of your prescriptions align so you only have to come in once rather than a number of times for all of them. I explained that I did not sign up for save a trip plan and I did not want the save a trip plan. So to "save a trip" I have to come in 5 times for that one prescription. Why would Walgreens make it that inconvenient for the customer. I understand that some of this may be corporate. Problem is Walgreens makes it so tough to contact them for complaints. They have contact me somewhere on Walgreens website. When it is finally found it loops you all over never getting done what you need to. Shame on you Walgreens. Charles R. This is purely for the pharmacy and how they rocked my family's COVID vaccines. Long story short, my parents were able to book vaccine appointments (separate, of course) at the United Center, only to receive emails days later changing them to completely shit times. So, I decided to do the whole 6 AM online Walgreens stalking for appointments. I was able to rock two appointments for my parents, one right after the other, and was able to do the same for their second appointments. They walked in, presented their already filled out paperwork, and were in and out before their scheduled appointments. There were no crazy lines and no overbooked appointments. They raved about the politeness of the staff, how the pharmacy ran like a well-oiled machine, and the painless shots. Following their rave reviews I also booked my vaccine appointments here, and everything they said was true. Staff were even super appreciative that I previously filled out my paperwork (which you need to do, people - they are rocking all these vaccine appointments on top of their already busy schedules!). A well run Walgreens... while I was traveling for work to a Chicago suburb, I found this Walgreens. Clean, organized, well stocked with a great variety of products. Staff were available all over the store. Additional bonus is that they had some great bottles of wine in their food and beverage section. Grab a toothbrush, some Advil, and a Red Blend. The parking lot for this store seems smaller than other Walgreens, so parking gets a little tight when it gets pretty busy. The store is always clean and the staff is helpful. read more

Just Ordered some travel lightly essentials via door dash and was informed by my dasher that my order was missing a few things,and i thought "okay maybe some other things would suffice." I get a bag of only a qaurter of the items and a reciept being charged for A whole order. I call the store and talk to the manager who was a male. He blows off the whole issue by saying i probably wasn't charged fully. But i was and I'm looking at the receipt and my bank statements and told him that. And then he escalated by hanging up on me. This is UNACCEPTABLE and wrong. Hoping that they are removed from the app until they can acknowledge 1.this manager is NOT professional and did not do his due diligence at resolving this issue. 2. It's UNACCEPTABLE to charge for items that aren't available nor substituted. 3. It's UNACCEPTABLE to fail at simple procedures of removing out of stock items while being aware they be marked as available and likely purchased. read more

It's a nice Walgreens. Typical layout. I was sad that they didn't have Cherry Chapstick though. I did find the original flavor which is not so good. Oh well. Everyone seems nice enough and it's a pretty big store, clean and organized, with lots of parking. read more

Janet one of the workers in photo always helps be me with ordering our family Christmas pics and makes it super easy. She's always upbeat and knowledgeable for the items in the store. Also, the staff in the pharmacy department are super friendly and always helpful for our family. read more

Overall a nice and convienent drug store. Staff-wise, this location is like every other Walgreens. This location is not a 24 hour location. For a 24 hour location, go to the Walgreens on Cumberland in Noridge or the Walgreens on Cumberland and Devon and Talcot in Park Ridge. read more

Not bad, but not great. In regards to cleanliness, it's fine. Things are decently organized. But if you're running there to grab something that you need on the fly-don't count on it. Two examples: They don't offer plain tomato sauce (I needed one more for chili-They only offered flavored ragu). I also ran there for lime juice-no luck on that either. I went here to buy a 12 pk of 7 up but all cases were pre opened. I went to a lady who I had to say "excuse me" to her 3 times then she turned around and said "what" In a manner with attitude. Just because of her I didn't buy anything. Better train your employees better. She had black curly hair. read more

I switched our prescriptions from the Walgreens on 800 Devon Avenue, Park Ridge to this one. The pharmacists are very nice here and helpful. "Sam," the pharmacist, especially, is really nice and caring. Then again the other pharmacist on staff was very professional with me and nice. I had a lot of questions I was asking her regarding the manufacturers of my child's medication. She patiently answered them all. We are sticking with this pharmacy versus the one on Devon Avenue in Park Ridge. I would pick this location even if it is not a 24 hours Walgreens for the good customer service in the pharmacy department. read more

Love this pharmacy I switched from the one over on Belmont Sam the pharmacist is so helpful and knowledgeable I feel I am in good hands. He goes out of his way to help. Always has a smile on his face and his staff are incredible. Will even call me if he's concerned about something with my sons meds. read more

This place is located about two blocks from where I live. The employees are not real friendly and the selection, even for Walgreens sucks. There is always stuff missing and a lot of the time, the aisles are disorganized. I do like that they have a redbox right outside the door. read more

Like this location. It's the closest to my house and it has a decent parking lot and easy entering. Somehow all other Walgreens in the area have a entrance located close to driveway which makes it dangerous a specially when going there with kids, this one is much safer. The pharmacy is good, always helpful and knowledgeable staff. read more

I prefer this location over others in the neighborhood. The pharmacy staff is friendly, helpful and professional always. The pharmacists remember your name and ask you how you are doing. I had a nightmare moment tonight when I found out the Walgreens on Devon had a power outage. The pharmacist Sam at this location was wonderful in helping me fill my prescription after being lost in power-outage cyberspace. Will be going here from now on! Thanks again! read more
