I have had several disappointing experiences at Walgreens because of the way I was treated by a manager named Robbie. She was extremely rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional when speaking with me. Customers should be treated with basic courtesy and respect, regardless of the situation. Get off the sinking ship before you get stranded without your needed meds. I wrote this before and it needs repeating for two reasons. First, the most important to Walgreens, if you don't have what we need you will lose our business because we have to find our drugs someplace else, so if I can find it at king soopers I will stay with this store until they fail me. You guys are closing stores, you should be aware if your not going to keep our drugs in stock you lose customers, and your response to the patient is if we get it you will get it and if we don't you can search other places... this doesn't sound like a place that wants to keep my business. Now let's talk patients... I have been with this store for years, getting the same script for over 20 years, morphine. How hard is it to say "Mr Scalf needs this morphine every 2 months for the last 20 years, let's make sure we keep it in stock for his next refill" How hard can it be to say this person for the last 20 years has came to our store and needs it... it's morphine! I am not Changing the dose every month, not changing anything! It's the same script for 20 years! How hard would it be for the customers that come in monthly for the same drug to keep it in stock! I have played the well we don't have enough, go look at other stores to find it it's not our problem! You don't even care enough to tell me where to find it.... Withdrawal is a nasty nasty thing to put anyone through and you all don't seem bothered enough to see it from the patients perspective, you just don't care. Yes America is in a pill issue, and what did you do? Instead of patient first you all have taken the stand... if we don't have it, to bad to sad enjoy your withdrawal. So, I shifted several scripts now to king soopers because you don't have it and you don't care to pretend to get it. When I tell a pharmacist that my morphine ends on Tuesday and he states a shipment may or may not come in on that Tuesday...that If I run out and if they happen not to get the shipment...my options then will be call around and see if you can find it! This is your care promise to your patients! You could put things in place to prevent this and yet you don't care enough to put it in place. So as a customer I have to go someplace I can trust, someplace that will try to keep me out of withdrawal, some place that cares enough to say " we don't have this in stocks but I can find it for you or get it for you before you run out" Nope.. I get " if we don't have it by the time you run out, your on your own" So with your stores closing it seems if I was a betting man we will soon hear 50% of your stores will be closing soon, so the best bet is to get off the sinking ship and find another place that I can trust to have my script and not have to worry every time I go to fill a script if you will have it or just send me somewhere else that I have to find with no help from the pharmacy. I will post this on yelp as well, it will be labeled 'get off the sinking ship before you have to go into withdrawal' I don't know who's fault this is, I don't know who is supposed to keep drugs in stock for your patients of plus 20 years, but it seems like you are all in a wait and see if we are going to close this store to see if we need to order more drugs. So, I called king soopers, they have the drug I need and I will stay with king soopers with this drug until they say they can't.... Meaning I have 4 or 5 other scripts that Walgreens's still has, so now I have to ask myself do I want to transfer all scripts to do one shop stop. I am not the only one you are doing this to, so what happens when folks start getting tired of playing with 2 pharmacies? It just seems to me, because this is about the 20th time I had to play 'hunt your drugs someplace else if you want them' It seems to me you are not telling the public you are about to close many of these stores and leave many people struggling and panicking to find a place they can trust to deliver and receive the drugs we need. read more

I wish I could give a score lower than zero. My wife was doing an Uber delivery today and trying to pick up a couple of things from this store today around 5PM. She was having trouble finding an item, and the manager refused to help because she was being paid by another service. That's ridiculous! Walgreens was still making a sale to a paying customer, and was not losing any tips!! I will tell everyone I know to stop shopping at Walgreens immediately! The online coupons never work when you try to use. I double checked to make sure that I have the right product, size, etc and they still don't work. I would leave 0 stars if I could. I have yet to meet a single friendly staff member here. The entire pharmacy is extremely rude. Even the older white male pharmacist. I tried this pharmacy 3 times with the same experience from different staff. They act like you're bothering them when asking they do their job. I tried to get ahold of the store manager took like a half hour but when I spoke with him he was nice. Ridiculously understaffed. One very flustered young man handling a long line in store and the drive-through. I waited in line, had one question and he told me to go to consultation. I went to the consultation window, person there was completely useless in answering my question and told me to get back in line. what?! I wait another 40 minutes only to be told they don't have the cold medicine I want. You couldn't tell me that when I was in the consultation line? I mention that they should probably take the tickets out of that slot then because it's misleading and thé young man with the long hair (I wish I had gotten his name) tells me they don't have control over that. On a Wednesday my doctor sent a new Rx for a daily medication into Walgreens, in this Rx she requested it to be filled that day, I was out due to a dosage increase. When I called the pharmacy they had a question regarding the Rx (unfortunately the new Rx had been sent in with the new dose but the old quantity) the pharmacy was going to contact the doctor (they say, this request has still not been received). Thankfully I called as well and a corrected Rx was sent in, received by Walgreens at 9 am Thursday morning. When I called at 1:30 to check a very nice woman found the new Rx in archive, she explained they were going to lunch she'd corrected it and it should be done around 3:30. This morning (Thursday) my husband went down to pick it up. He was told there were 2 Rx one written incorrectly and one to soon to refill. I called and spoke to Vasole (sp?) I explained the correct Rx had been retrieved from archive the previous day and my last communication was that it would be ready in 2 hours. He said it is archived because it is too soon to refill I should still have 4 days of the medication. Even though this was explained in the first Rx he says he requested clarification on, I explained again that the dose had been adjusted and there for I was out. He rudely stated "well see when they don't tell me this I don't know" (again in the original Rx) but I pointed out to him it is a complete new Rx for a daily medication sent in by my doctor and approved by my insurance which I have now been out of for 3days, it needs to be filled at the very least I should have been notified. His retort was that actually he did not have to fill it as pharmacist it was at his discretion. I will conceed as pharmacist he has the discretion to question an order I do not believe it allows him to play doctor. The Rx was filled within 30 minutes so obviously it was valid. I can tolerate mistakes, they happen, but the same mistake repeated after being corrected is aggravating and I will not tolerate the rudeness. It wasn't until my husband's 2nd trip back this morning he realized this pharmacy only has a 2 star rating. I wish we had looked this up before we made the decision to use them. As an additional note we had ONLY decided to switch to them for the convenience of their drive up, however the speaker does not work and they yell through the drawer so we go in anyway, well we did, we definitely will not be again. I hope this saves at least one family the wasted time and aggravating we have been put through. This is my first experience at this Walgreens pharmacy. They are short staff just like all other Walgreens. It appeared that the person who rang up the meds was also the person who giving people COVID Vaccination. So if you have an appointment for your Covid Vac., expect a 30mins to 1 hour wait time right now. I knew what to expect so the wait didn't bother me much. For two days, this pharmacy has been extremely disappointing ranging from long lines inside and out while pharmacy techs giggle and play to 90 minute waits for medicines that were called in an hour earlier (it was Amoxicilin, so it's already in the bottle). The final straw was the awful attitude I experienced over the phone by the male pharmacist who was working around 6:30p MST on 7/28/2021. I called because the bottle of Amoxicilin that it took 2 hours out of my life to get had the wrong top, as it should have a top where you don't have to stick the syringe into the bottle, because it's simply unsanitary and unnecessarily messy. The pharmacist was flippant and rude and told me that he can put it in an amber pharmacy bottle after someone I talked to earlier told me that they had the appropriate syringe tops. Over two days and experiencing 4 pharmacy employees (3 techs and 1 pharmacist), I'd say rudeness and a lack of professionalism rules this pharmacy. read more

As far as I can tell. The folks here don't want to help customers. For example - there was a very long line when I arrived. 45+ min. So I was a few min late to talk to a pharmacist for my appointment. I didn't create a line that makes me wait an hour. I was told to make a new appointment more than a week out and make sure I show up more in advance and wait over an hour if needed to make my appointment on time. I am speechless. You need to manage your process and delays on your end. Not me. I arrived well ahead of time. Ridiculous. read more

I had surgery today. They sent in my prescription for painkillers at 2 PM. The doctor recommended that I take them before I go to bed. It is now 7:45 PM and they said they will not be able to fill it tonight because they are too busy giving Covid shots to come in the morning. My wife asked if they could transfer it to another store and they said no because it is a narcotic. Thank you Walgreens I will be in pain tonight. Unacceptable. read more

I'd rate this location zero stars if that was possible. Let me begin by mentioning the staff is rude and unresponsive, and that is if you can even find one of them to help you. The pharmacy in particular is dangerously understaffed, with only one pharmacist and one technician working in the busy evening rush hour on a Monday night. Both the line inside and the line in the drive-thru outside were extremely long, so expect at least a 30 minute wait until one of the few staff members decides to help you. The tall, long-haired male technician from the other night was working both the drive thru and the inside register, was clearly unknowledgeable, and refused to offer much help to resolve the issue I was having. The blond, female pharmacist refused to even acknowledge me at the counter. It's amazing that it's legal to operate a busy pharmacy with this dangerous level of understaffing, and it's only a matter of time before they make a mistake and dispense the wrong medication to someone. I've made 2 appointment at this Walgreens for drive through covid tests, months apart. Both times I showed up, the drive through was closed and I was unable to get a test. I understand that many places are short staffed but they didn't even have the courtesy to cancel the appointment. If you need a covid test, don't waste your time here. read more

They have you fill out a form online for the flu shot and when you get there they tell you that you have to do it again. they ask you if you have insurance for a free flu shot. I have Kaiser and they tell you it not free if you have Kaiser and the lady working the counter is just totally clueless. Appointments are worthless here. Made appt for flu shots for family (4 kids). Came with all paperwork done. Took them 20 min just to check us in and then sat for an hour waiting to get the shots trying to entertain 3 kids and a baby in store with no waiting area. Apparently of the 3 working only one could do the shot and we sat watching her fill prescriptions for an hour before she decided to tend to us. It took 5 min. First and last time we will use Walgreens for flu shots. read more

Got forced to switch to Walgreens from RiteAid. I cannot tell you how much I hate this place. It has been nothing but a headache. Their customer service is a complete joke especially when you have to call that useless phone number. My Dr. will send in a prescription and it's still not ready hours later. Local RiteAid on Piccadilly and Smoky Hill closed resulting in prescriptions transferred to Walgreens on Himilaya and Smoky Hill. TERRIBLE pharmacy service at this Walgreens. Also, very slow service. Received text that my prescriptions were ready and went in the next day to pick up to find that prescriptions were still not ready even after receiving their text. Pharmacy is very slow. It seems the pharmacy is understaffed. Fortunately, there are many other local pharmacy options! Follow-up: got another text from Walgreens saying prescription was ready. Went to Walgreens 20 minutes later to be told I have a 45 minute wait. AWFUL! read more

I couldn't agree with more with the young lady that had a c-section Kelsey K from a year ago. I had torn my Achilles' tendon along with my outer ankle tendons and a bone spur because the bone spur was slicing into my Achilles. So pretty much 3 procedures in one operation. Then non weight bearing. Kyle the pharmacists did the exact same thing to me. He decided on his own that the 2 prescriptions prescribed weren't warranted and he refused to fill them (this was on our way home from the hospital). Took it to CVS (Target at saddle rock). They are AMAZING! They filled it for me no problem. I now will drive an extra 7 min. Instead of the 1 minute to get excellent service, Cvs actually will call me and remind me of refills and also have called me If I started taking a new medication. They called me a few days later to make sure I was doing ok with the prescription!!!!! I can barley get Walgreens to fill a rx without pulling teeth etc. etc. I recommend highly to anyone to try out CVS (Target) @Saddle Rock. PS Walgreens automated system is a joke too! I called in a rx via the automated system. It says "your rx will be ready today at 5 pm" then right after that says we will contact your doctor for more refills"? So is it being refilled today or not ????ughhhh worst customer service there ever. Like it wasn't terrible enough service before they bought out RITE AID. This pharmacy treated us terribly! I had a c-section 4 days ago and was prescribed 3 medications to help tolerate the pain. The pharmacist told my husband and myself that she WOULDN'T be filling my prescriptions for some reason she decided were justified. Nevermind that my DOCTOR had prescribed them, walked me through taking them properly and overseen me as I took them while in the hospital. What makes a pharmacist think that her opinion should trump what my doctor advised. I had to contact my doctor who then called the pharmacist to clarify the plan she and I were following in order to have all 3 prescriptions filled. Upon going to pick up the final prescription (a second time to Walgreens on our first day home with new baby) my husband was again questioned about the prescriptions. It isn't a pharmacists job to question a doctors pain management plan (especially regarding a woman who just had a tough labor and delivery and is stresssed and overwhelmed enough already.) I will never use Walgreens pharmacy again. read more

If I could give Walgreen's zero stars I certainly would. On February 15, 2019 I filled a prescription for an Epipen Twin Pack for my son. The Epipen was for the school medical clinic. I did not check the expiration date, as they normally have a shelf life of about 1 year from the date of dispensing. Yesterday, the school nurse called me and told me that the Epipen box was stamped with an expiration date of November 2018! The prescription cost me $145! That means I paid $145 for an EXPIRED LIFESAVING medication. I went to Walgreen's this morning and spoke with a pharmacist named Tuy. She took the expired one and switched it out for a "new" one. I was about to leave the store, when something told me to check the date. The "new" pen had an expiration date of June 2019! Two months from now. I asked Tuy for an Epipen with a longer shelf life. She gave me one that expires January 2020. She said , "All the other ones in stock expire in June." Then she said, "I don't know why they send them to us that way." Her final comment was dismissive and showed her true ignorance. She said, "Most people don't end up needing them anyway." While I will be sure to check the expiration dates of my Epipens moving forward , it is ultimately the responsibility of your Pharmacy Staff to check expiration dates before dispensing medication. You should be fully transparent in communicating the date to which they will expire and leaving the decision up to your customers as to whether they still want their prescriptions filled. Walgreen's you are negligent. You've definitely lost me as a customer and I am going to tell anyone who will listen about your practices. I am thankful that the school nurse caught it when she did. I'm thankful that my son was not in an emergency situation in which he would have needed to have THAT expired Epipen administered. The fact that you are dispensing Epipens which are so very expensive and with expired or very short shelf lives is criminal. How dare you! Shame on you Walgreen's for your negligent business practices! read more
