Unfortunately, the laser scar revision sessions I had did not work out for me and made my skin tremendously worse and more uncomfortable. Dr. Weber didn't do anything wrong, as he just did his job. However, please be careful when doing any laser work and start slowly and with low settings. You can always go more intense later. It's better than burning your skin and turning it into intensely hot and painful redness. I've had to get psychiatric help and be medicated to help deal with the anxiety and depression. The decision to get laser surgery ruined my life and the permanent redness and burning from Dr. Weber's lasers makes living extremely hard. Please be careful. I just wanted to share my experience in case anyone is on the fence about laser work. Be careful; you probably look fine, and things can get way worse from laser work. What was once a small minor scar has turned into something infinitely worse.

I also had a small deformity develop in the outer part of my nose after a year of waiting for the final result along with cartilage bulging inside of my nose. I felt the staff was frequently rude and very condescending when trying to arrange a follow up appointment and expressing these concerns. When trying to discuss a revision in person, I was told to wait in a room while the assistant showed before and after pictures to Dr. Smith in private. I was then told I had a "difficult nose" to start with. They said there wasn't much they could do and that they were proud of their work, completely disregarding my feelings. They said no one could notice unless I pointed it out even though the outer bump that formed is definitely obvious. They didn't offer any resolution and just said it's always open for discussion. They also said that muscle memory is a thing and the nose can return to its original shape over the years, which I researched extensively and if this is an issue, I read that it means the procedure was not done correctly and should not happen. This wasn't even my situation, so I'm not sure why they mentioned it. They repeatedly said they were pleased with their result despite my disappointment after spending over $10K. I was also seeking a co2 laser before my rhinoplasty and they said it was best to do it after. They didn't even offer a discount on that. I went to another triple board certified surgeon I had previously seen as an option before my rhinoplasty and showed her the before and after photos. After examining the internal and external structure of my nose, she said she could see exactly what I was talking about and that yes, the bump formed was noticeable. Friends and family noticed too. Now I'm stuck having to pay another 10K or more for revision elsewhere. I really regret settling for this place. Update: the doctor that had replied to this message said to reach out, which I did. My email went unanswered so I emailed a few more times and never got a response. It's been months. Again, wish I never went here.

The nice Dr. Bovenzi was no longer present as he insulted me by telling me ears were always uneven and by the way, my eyes were uneven, too. Your rep when they called me back said I should see an 'eye doctor'. When I asked what type of doctor he was at a loss. How is this possible when you specialize in eye reconstruction? I explained I had seen two opthmalogical surgeons and needed someone more on the cosmetic side. They still had no idea. I gave up and hung up and then called back asking that the rep chat with the doctor and get a speciality or a name. No response. Truly shameful. From the look of this it appears that this group is running a high end sell shop. Your reps make the sale or 'pitch' but have no expertise. Doctors then only choose the most renumerative cosmetic procedure. Certainly your hippocratic oath to do no harm or perhaps guide those in need is missing. My guess is that there are a lot of unhappy outcomes. In short unless you are only 8 tersted in expensive cosmetic work dont come here. It has taken me a while to write this because I was traumatized by my experience. The 2 stars…read morerepresent that the end result is the size and type of implants I wanted that are even and sit nicely. And for the excellent care his STAFF provides. The lack of additional stars has everything to do with Dr. Buford, his arrogance, his inattentive care, his insulting conversations. I was being treated so poorly by Dr Buford that I forced my husband to come to every appointment as protection! I've never had to take my husband to see a doctor before. I was very specific and insistent about what size I wanted, but Dr. Buford still gave me smaller implants than I wanted. When I woke up from surgery and saw what he did I flipped out and became hysterical because this was the REVISION after my first augmentation years before were a complete disappointment (by another doctor). He agreed to do a 2nd surgery the next day at no additional cost (also part of the 2 stars). I paid $31,000 for implants and lift, plus lipo under my armpits. AFTER I was given the anesthesia for the 2nd surgery, he came up close to my ear so my husband couldn't hear and he whispered "I don't want to hear A THING about the lipo" in an angry and menacing tone and I was too out of it from anesthesia to say anything to my husband who was there to protect me from this menace. The healing process was a disaster. I had allergic reactions to the pain medication, I couldn't reach him post-op as he was out of town golfing and not taking calls. It took hours to days to reach the on call doctor. They treated me like I was drug seeking when I couldn't tolerate any of the pain meds. My incisions kept coming apart and my skin was dying along the incision line, along with seromas that had to be drained with needle aspirations every two days for months after surgery. I felt like sally from nightmare before christmas trying to keep my incisions together. The scarring from the surgery is giving very Frankenstein. The lipo under my armpits is very uneven so I have a couple of pockets of fat surrounded by flat areas. I thought maybe he treated me so poorly because I was a fat, 50 something woman that he didn't want to work on. I would have rather he just said that FROM THE START than treat me like crap. I have lost over 50lbs since surgery but the little fat pockets in my armpits are still there. At my last follow up appointment with Dr Buford I told him how angry I was at the way I was treated and that I never wanted to see him again and he replied "yes, but do you like the results". So, yes, doctor, I like the way my breasts look with a bra or clothes on, not so much the FrankenTits scarring or the LumpyLipo underarms. I'm just grateful I didn't die, because I thought for a while I was going to die.
