But before that . . . one beautiful, crisp, fall day while strolling along window shopping, I caught a quick glimpse of a tired, old, worn-looking face. Denial was futile when I saw the body below the tired, old, worn-looking face was wearing my clothes. Oh, no! No. No. No! Dr. Schmidt preformed my rhinoplasty and submental liposuction, I am extremely happy with the results. I didn't have a horrible nose but wanted some changes to the bulbous tip and a slight bump on the bridge of my nose. My main concern was that I could live with the nose I had but worried that the changes would be too drastic. I saw numerous surgeons over the course of 3 years and finally decided on Dr. Schmidt due to his attentiveness and also his realistic goals of what could be achieve without completely throwing of the symmetry of my face (I have a rounder face and wanted a narrow nose which he recommended keeping the nose rounder with slight changes). The shape and appearance of my nose came out better than expected and I am happy that I stayed with the rounder shape as he recommended. I added the submental liposuction at the same time to remove the double chin and very happy I decided to add this on. This was my first ever surgery and I had an aunt that died due to complications from surgery a few years ago so naturally I was extremely nervous. They were extremely personable and walked me through the process several times which made me feel a lot more at ease. I came back to Dr. Schmidt's office and this time was for my first botox experience ever! I am someone who show strong facial expressions and tend to frown while talking to people. This is extremely annoying considering that frowning causes wrinkles on your forehead and I was starting to getting them. Having botox with Dr. Schmidt was life changing! MAYBE a little exaggeration as we Peruvians tend to do, but I love my results. ;) Once again Dr Schmidt explained me everything and made me feel at easy. I was able to see the results after 3 to 4 days and I love that the skin of my forehead looks tighter while also looking very natural. I don't look frozen...just wrinkle-free. I totally recommend having botox if you want to prevent or mask wrinkles that you are developing. On the same day I got my second treatment with PicoSure laser all over my face to help with pigment irregularities, and it was also used to remove some of the microblading tattoo that I got somewhere else that didn't look so natural. With the laser I could see the results after 3 weeks. I also started using the facial products that Dr. Schmidt recommended me. Now my skin looks refreshed and much more even in color. The texture have tremendously improved and the hyperpigmentation has faded. The microblading tattoo has faded a lot and it looks much better now. i love this office and every person that works here, my experience getting a rhinoplasty was unmatched! I was always cared for and Dr. Schmidt double and triple checked about my wants and needs before going into this life changing surgery. I had wanted to get my nose done for about 10 years and I did research for month trying to find the right surgeon, I wanted a natural look and I wanted it to still look like MY nose just a little tweaked, and that's exactly what he did. Horrible experience. Office manager makes it a frustrating experience to try to even schedule a consultation! I finally was able to schedule, to then be called weeks later and told she needed to reschedule me out further by 6 more weeks. The office manager was passive aggressive and not helpful. I am not confident in Dr. Schmidt's staff and will be going to Dr. Raval now. I do not recommend this experience. read more
