Dr. Weber and his staff were always extremely kind and professional. Dr. Weber would always respond to me over the phone, as I'm not from Denver. Unfortunately, the laser scar revision sessions I had did not work out for me and made my skin tremendously worse and more uncomfortable. Dr. Weber didn't do anything wrong, as he just did his job. However, please be careful when doing any laser work and start slowly and with low settings. You can always go more intense later. It's better than burning your skin and turning it into intensely hot and painful redness. I've had to get psychiatric help and be medicated to help deal with the anxiety and depression. The decision to get laser surgery ruined my life and the permanent redness and burning from Dr. Weber's lasers makes living extremely hard. Please be careful. I just wanted to share my experience in case anyone is on the fence about laser work. Be careful; you probably look fine, and things can get way worse from laser work. Dr Weber was the third cosmetic surgeon that I contacted regarding treatment for my rhinophyma. If you don't know what it is, then easier to Google than for me to explain. Treatment requires removing excess growth on the patient's nose that accumulates over time from overactive sebaceous glands which is linked to rosacea. The treatment requires removing this excess tissue growth on the outside of the nose typically by dermabrasion, laser, scraping off with a scalpel, knife cauterizing or combination of all of these. Sent several pics showing nose getting more bulbous over years from this skin condition. Response I received from front office was that Dr Weber looked at all of my photos and suggested having him perform rhinoplasty while immediately quoting me pricing. Explained to the office that rhinoplasty makes no sense from everything that I've read on line about this external skin condition and what two other HIGHLY respected cosmetic surgeons that I met with told me about treatment options. . Was asked if I wanted to schedule a consultation and advised definitely not. Excellent plastic surgeon. I had a nasal hump that had bothered me since childhood and my nostrils had begun to collapse on one side. Dr. Weber listened to my concerns and desired result. I wanted my nostrils fixed and the hump removed but I still wanted my nose to look like "my nose". I didn't want to have a plastic surgery looking nose. He did an EXCELLENT job. The advice I was given by former plastic surgery patients was to meet with several facial plastic surgeons before having Rhinoplasty. It is important that you find a surgeon that focuses on facial plastic surgery because it makes them an expert as opposed to a doctor that does more breast augmentation surgery and not as many facial surgeries. I interviewed 5 different surgeons prior to making my decision to move forward with Rhinoplasty. You develop a sense of the doctor and office staff during your research and visits with the different locations. You know in your gut that a specific doctor and their practice is going to be the right fit for you. Some examoles of when I knew that a surgeon and his staff were not a good fit for me: 1. Some surgeons told me what they would be doing to my nose without ever consulting with me about what I actually wanted my result to look like. 2. Poor customer service beginning with booking the appointment for the consultation. 3. Some surgeons didn't have time to spend longer than 10 minutes talking to me about the surgery before rushing me out of the office. I felt it was important to find a surgeon and office staff that made me feel confident and secure in my decison, especially since you will be visiting with them several times for at least 1 year after surgery for follow up appointments to check on your healing. I always hated my nose since childhood. I was scarred emotionally with name calling and staring, even into adulthood. Once I finally had the financial stability to get this done in my 30's, I was honestly going to do whatever it took to finally be happier with my appearance. Besides, I already have braces as an adult as well so who cares. It's going to be a great transformation. I decided to avoid CareCredit or the like and got a personal loan from the bank, the same way you would apply for an auto loan for much less interest and penalties. I have avoided selfies and close ups for so long, and have even asked people not to post photos of me online. My old nose did not have any injuries or breathing problems, it was just an extremely bulbous tip, extremely round, almost like a completely different ethnicity. There was no way makeup would even help contour that thing to be less noticeable. Nobody on either side of my family has anything like it, they all have the pointy Western European noses, so I guess it was just a fluke. After extensive online research, I narrowed my search down to 2 rhinoplasty facial plastic surgeon specialists in the Denver area. I confidently cancelled the other doctor's consult and went ahead and booked with Dr. Weber. I am the type to shop around and weigh all my options so having made that decision says a lot. He and his staff are very well informed and will take all the time you need to move to the next steps. They have the most cutting edge medical techniques, equipment, complimentary skincare items, and online technology. Dr. Weber explains medical terminology really well to people like myself who are not in the medical field. He answered all of my questions and scenarios, and took photos to simulate his anticipated results on the TV at my consultation. Of course the simulation is not going to look exactly like your final result but in my case it is pretty darn close. I did search online for noses I liked for some time. I narrowed the photos down to mimic the noses of Mila Kunis or Jena Malone. Dr. Weber will gladly look over the photos and give you his feedback. He even takes them with to surgery as a reference point. Before surgery you are given pills and creams to help alleviate the bruising, in addition to ointments, ice packs, everything you will need. After surgery they mailed me a care package with fresh fruit and snacks which was really thoughtful, especially when your spouse is at work and you are not up for cooking. The surgery center he uses is top of the line. They have really cool gowns that can attach to a heater fan to keep you warm. I also liked how the surgery was on a Friday so you can start recovery on the weekend and lose less days from work. I was not nervous about the process until right before surgery. He was very comforting and has an awesome bedside manner. I was resting the entire day of, and second day. The third day I was up and moving around, was able to run an errand, and also taking lots of breaks and naps. Until your post op appointment, it will feel like you have the worst cold ever. You will have to "mouth breathe" until the post op at day 5. By day 5 I was definitely myself again and ready to get the splint removed. You have to keep your splint dry in the shower or else you are guaranteed to have it fall off. If that happens you will want to use your medical tape to keep it on, or go back in to get another one. At the post op appointment, I will advise you to take Ibuprofen even if you are not feeling pain anymore. Removal of the stitches and sinus things in your nose is painful. There is a laser machine that can help expedite your black eye bruising to clear up more quickly - this one is not fun either but worth it. The noticeable black eyes and bruising were fully gone right around the 2 week mark. As suggested by Dr. Weber's assistant Camille, I went to Sephora and used NARS concealer and Kat Von D powder to cover the bruises. At work and nobody could tell I had black eyes. I do not think my coworkers noticed I had the procedure done. I think a couple of them could tell something was different but didn't know what. That's how natural it looks. At 1 month post op, everything is looking great! Granted, I thought it looked fantastic when the splint was taken off. I have taken photos every day to watch the changes as the swelling goes down. It can look different day to day, but patience and trusting the process is key. It will get smaller by the 3 and 4 month mark. My breathing is still great as it was before. And for the record, I am not being stared at anymore, either by coworkers or randoms out in public. It looks natural, fits my face, and I still "look like me." After undergoing rhinoplasty from another surgeon in June of 2016, I was left with some significant nostril asymmetry and an uneven bridge. My original surgeon suggested a permanent silicone filler to correct the flaws, but I wasn't comfortable with his suggestion. While I waited out the customary year for my nose to heal completely, I was incredibly unhappy with the appearance of my nose. It was impacting my everyday life. I sought out a local surgeon who was experienced performing non-surgical rhinoplasty with temporary filler. After much research, I settled on Dr. Weber. I really couldn't be happier. Twelve years ago I gauged my ears (stretched the lobes to a little larger than a #2 pencil). When I graduated high school a couple years later I took them out and was left with noticeable holes in my ears that were pretty ugly. After having my car accident in May of 2007, I was seeing the previous Doctor at OHSU Center for Health and Healing, and had 5 surgeries from him. I was so sad to hear the news that he was leaving to go to a different state and was really nervous of seeing the new doctor that was taking his place. Right away Dr. Weber made me feel completely comfortable and I had a good feeling about him. After 4 surgeries with him, I am going in for my last little one next month and that will be it for my 3 1/2 year journey. My face went from being completely destroyed, to looking absolutely beautiful. The beginning and even middle of my experience with Dr Weber was good. He has a warm bedside manner and makes you feel comfortable right away. I had botox around my eyes and some filler in my lips. Though my lips looked pretty I had them depleted right after as I just prefer my natural lips better. Unfortunately here's where things went south. I had ultherapy done in his office by his surgical assistant and have been living a nightmare since. I did not understand the specifics of procedure, I just trusted it was a safe ultra sound lifting facial as I was told that builds collagen to keep jawline lifted. Argo.. not having the "knife" which I will not do. The procedure was very painful but worse, it caused severe fat atrophy though I kept being told it would not. It does and it did. I now have constant pain in my jaw and ear and my face is no longer symmetrical. My eyes are sunken in (and I only had lower face done). Jawline sags. The exact thing I was trying to prevent by having procedure. My cheeks look so different. My high cheek bones gone. I now need fat grafting or filler and I am scared to death to have anything done after this. Has aged me 10+ yrs. I have always taken such good care of my skin and at 55 yrs old, people say I looked 40. Anyway, after I've watched my face change and lose so much natural volume (we need fat on our faces or we look sunken in and old). I went back in for another follow up and asked "Exactly how many lines did she (assistant) do on my face?" I ONLY had lower face done. At first I was told between 800-1,000!! I was shocked and got very upset. She then came back in and said 750 lines. I said that is WAY OVER maximum lines! I almost started to cry, did on the way home. I went to the office weeks later very upset as I was looking worse. I was then told I only had 660! Which is it? I knew then I wasn't being told the truth. (For those that don't know, 660 is maximum and that is a very high max. Esp on small thin face) I went to other doctors after this on how to fix this and a few said they never would have done it on my slim face. One other doctor said he would never have went over 300 lines! I now don't know how many lines I actually have had! I only know I am stuck with having to make a decision on how to fill all the fat back in my face and to fix the symmetry. This has been horrible and will cost a lot of money to rectify. I really don't know if she knew what she was doing. And why did Dr Weber allow her to do so much? I once gave Dr Weber rave reviews. Again, I mostly went to him for botox which looked natural. Now I no longer can because I was not told exactly what the risks are with Ultherapy ( was told there weren't any) and I was given beyond an excessive amount. I mean excessive. With Ultherapy you get charged for every line. My treatment cost me over $3,100 so you can imagine how many lines. And again, I only did lower face!!!! It's been a year since procedure and I continue to get worse. My jaw and ear pain continues and my features look less and less like myself. I was told my face changed from both Dr Weber's asst. and himself because of aging..Really!!! One year and I've "aged" with all these problems? No.. it was Ultherapy Overkill. I was given so much and didn't even need it. Was suppose to be a preventative. If you're going to do Ultherapy, don't go there. I am paying the price..physically, financially and emotionally. read more

I was referred to Stephen Weber for Rhinoplasty to support septoplasty being preformed by an ENT. After several consulations and many questions to Weber, I was still unable to determine what was involved in the procedure. When I finally discussed the costs with the financial adviser I learned that his $15k procedure invovled grafting ear cartilage and putting it in my nose. I WAS NEVER ADVISED that this would be required. Once I realized this I saw another specialized who advised this was not necessary and way to involved to be sucessful. Luckily I saw a great surgeon who fixed my breathing issues with out peeling my nose up and taking cartlidge from my ear. In my opinion, Weber is just a greedy plastic surgeon who won't even take the time to explain the procedures. I understand he has left OHSU. I hope he was fired and the Medical Board is pulling his license. See a doctor who cares... read more
