My visit was flawless due to a pharmacy technician named Dani. Technically perfect, she administered my flu shot and I did not feel even the slightest discomfort. She was both extremely professional, and warm and compassionate at the same time. She facilitated my request for the shot as well getting my prescription filled straight away. Wasted a ton of my time: I called them beforehand to confirm they accepted people for walk-in COVID boosters, then got told I had to set up an appointment when I arrived. Pharmacy workers are extremely inconsiderate and rude. They carry an attitude when conversing and have no sense or urgency! I will be switching pharmacies due to this being an ongoing occurrence.. Don't use this pharmacy. Just moved here and already had two bad experiences. Most recent: They are Disorganized with appointments. No one would acknowledge I made an appointment (for booster shot). I had to flag down a different worker because after standing in line, the first worker needed to "print it out" and helped another costumer and left me waiting again. Making the appointment time is useless because they have no connection to anything done online, or anything called in. Additionally the email appointment confirmation encourages filling out form online to "save time." No such thing and no connections to my online form. They had no idea and I filled out another physical form. The second worker could feel I was frustrated and actually followed through with helping me after I filled out the form, and didn't make me stand in the line again. Not a good experience. read more

So I don't normally leave negative reviews but this one is necessary. I had a prescription that needed filled. When I called it in they said it wouldn't be ready to fill for three weeks. I usually get a three month supply so I thought maybe I misplaced a bottle. I tore my room apart looking for it. I ended up calling Medicaid ( they said I had to) I've never had to do this before at any pharmacy. I was told I had one time to get a replacement medication. After they filled a new supply for me I realized that it took three bottles not 2. Luckily I kept the last bottle and realized what happened. They only gave me two months! I could have seizures if I run out. They made me feel like I was stupid or overtook my pills. I went in to show them and she realized it was on them and gave me another months worth. She slammed it on the counter and said "Here you go". No apology no admission of guilt. Nothing. I know they are severely under staffed and working long hours but come on! I'm moving my business to king soopers. Next time they might give me the wrong pills and kill me! So store manager guy. You need to get them some help or they will end up killing some one! read more

This is based solely on the pharmacy as I don't tend to shop at Walgreens otherwise. I understand it's Covid and I understand there's shipping shortages and even employee shortages HOWEVER I wish companies would be more ethical and instead of trying to suck up all the business possible instead perhaps put a cap on what you truly have staffing and resources to facilitate honestly the turn around times you give patients. The last few months service here has been really bad and even beyond them not having things ready in time you can tell the pharmacy employees are stressed and taxed beyond their limits. I wish more folks wanted or could work there and this could ease some of the tension. I also wish they would just say hey your prescription is gonna be more like 5 days this time rather than the auto replied we will have it ready tomorrow. Let's be real - it's not gonna be tomorrow. For many prescriptions this may not be a big deal but for a lot of them missing a day is really worrisome to patients - reach out to them for refills earlier maybe knowing there's more of a delay? I'm trying to be kind here but there are some real deficits that could be addressed in a better fashion. We have all of our other scripts filled at Costco and never have any issues because of that this month I finally switched the remaining few of to them because of these consistent issues here. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS WALGREENS! THIS PLACE IS WORTHLESS! If I could give this place ZERO STARS I would. This place has consistently let me down. I boycotted Walgreens because of this location. My 8 year old son was sick with a double ear infection AND strep throat and I was trying to get his antibiotics filled. IT TOOK THEM OVER 6 HOURS TO *TRY* to fill it. I called and spoke with one of the pharmacy techs to explain why I needed it filled sooner rather than later. Finally I got frustrated, after waiting SEVERAL HOURS, and went to SAFEWAY to get it filled and when I got there, Walgreens finally decided they were going to fill it, which prevented me from getting it filled at the Safeway that I'm standing at. I had to call Walgreens to CANCEL filling the prescription, and they proceeded to keep me on hold for OVER 30 minutes, and I STILL couldn't get my sons medicine filled because they had locked up the prescription order. Over an hour later, and I finally got my prescription filled AT SAFEWAY. After that, I boycotted Walgreens. Unfortunately, several months later, my son was sick so I took him to urgent care. They told me to get an at home COVID test. Safeway was sold out, so I was stuck with Walgreens. I CALLED AHEAD to make sure they had tests available, so I'm not leaving my sick child at home alone for nothing.....I get there, and wait in line at the pharmacy. They tell me it's on the shelf, and what do I see....NOTHING. They sold out of tests in the 5 minutes it took me to drive to the store??? I don't fucking think so. I don't know if it's a bunch of incompetent people or if they just genuinely don't give a shit? Save yourself from frustration and go somewhere else. read more

If there was a Zero star I'd give that. I was told my meds were ready two days ago, this place is far so I called yo get it transferred but today morning was told it's ready to pick up so I drove out of my way to get it. When I got to the pharmacy, I was told it's not ready and I have to wait 20 mins. At 13 mins of wait I get a call, stating this medication is out of stock. When I got back to the counter I had to wait again, after searching for 20 more minutes they told me they don't have my medicine. I wasted an hour there and by this time sams pharmacy closed too. This place was very rude and racist to me in past too. And I keep giving them one more chance but these so called health professionals don't deserve 2 cents of respect. Went to pick up a prescription that I had a phone call that was ready and also called spoke to someone I would be picking up in a few days; he said that was fine he saw the order was ready. When I got there they claim there was no prescription. I said I have two phone calls to/from this pharmacy saying my prescription was ready. They basically called my a liar even though I had proof in my phone. Called several times the customer service #...they are no help at all. Unfortunately that was my last refill from my doctor in NC. I would have to start w a new Dr..which we all know takes months to get in sometimes. I needed the prescription asap. Plus they never have in stock what I need. I have to wait several days. If could rate the people in the pharmacy separately I'd give them 10 stars ... patient, concerned, and down-right helpful. And then I'd give the actual Walgreens Corp pharmacy -25 stars. Thye new micro-fulfillment program takes away control at the local store and ensures horrid service. I went in over three days in a row to pick-up a prescription that the Walgreens app said would be ready, and it never was. The local people eventually helped me find what I needed at a completely different company as I was on my last day of a much needed, daily medication. Every time, I go to pick up my prescriptions, I only get 1/2 of my prescriptions. Went today 12/22 and once again they missed 2 prescriptions. So, I called and asked about the other 2 and got hung up on for voicing my concern for this being a regular experience. Called back and spoke to the manager. Who said "it was an accident on the hang up and missing the prescriptions. My husband went to pick him up and spoke to the young man who hung up on me. He said yes, was the one who hung up, still no apology. Not sure where customer service has gone in our world today and or being accurate at your job. Dropped off an international FedEx package at their FedEx drop off. I got an email receipt from the store saying that they received it and the tracking number, but it never got scanned by FedEX, and thus never entered the system, and probably never left Walgreens (or did so in a trash bin). read more

Wish I could give a ZERO rating. Dr called in a pain prescription from the hospital for post surgical pain. This was at 4:00PM. This Walgreens didn't have the prescription ready until 10:30AM the next day!!! And that was after we had to call twice to get it moved up the queue. Horrible thoughtless people. How would they like to see their loved one in pain and have this happen to them? Shame on these uncaring people. NEVER use this pharmacy. I will never set foot in this place again. read more

Extremely poor run store! Just transferred all our prescriptions. Walgreens Pharmacy messed it up. Sent a prescription with out the sealed box or directions. They put it in a zip lock baggy! Tonight Doctor called in a fill I needed badly tonight. Went to pick it up at 5:10 and they had a note that PHARMACY IS CLOSED,DUE TO LACK OF HELP. I need sleep mediation after surgery. read more

The store I use on Wilcox St. recently lost their best pharmacist. I have been filling prescriptions there for years. The pharmacist that was his assistance is not even close to being as helpful and has screwed up my medications. I am considering changing pharmacies now. I come here whenever I have a sweet tooth. It's my convenient store. The staff are semi friendly. There is one younger girl in piticular that appears to hate her job. Never greets, just scans and only says total amount due. Very rude. Their debit machine is ridiculous! Too many questions: print or email receipt? Donation? No! Just let me put in pin, agree to amount so I can leave. Their prices are high!! I go specifically for only a couple products that other stores do not carry. read more

I arrive 1.5 hours after the completion time for a prescription, wait in line for 45 mins and when I get up to the window the tech tells me that I need to get back to the end of line because the pharmacist hasn't verified the meds yet. THE BOTTLE WAS SEALED FROM THE MANUFACTURER!!! There was nothing to count and it could have been fixed in the matter of a few seconds, but NO, the tech made me turn around anyways. This isn't about the store per se, but about their pharmacy department. Pros: the store staff is friendly and seems like they want to provide great customer service. Friendly and engaging. Only positive with the pharmact is they gave me a 3 day supply. The end. Cons: Pharmacy is the worst. Tried to get a refill in and was sort of put on hold. Meaning, I had to get my Rx number so the pharmacist on the other line put down the phone and I could hear her about taking a break. When I got my number there wasn't anyone on the other line. I hung up and called to complain to the assistant store manager who was very helpful. We went back later that night only to have the med not filled but was told it will be a few minutes. During this wonderful waiting period, we overhead that they are understaffed and basically underworked. They had more than 200 orders to fill. I was also told that I can't go to another Walgreens and have to pick up at this location. Fast forward, this morning I get a call that the order is filled. Stopped by and...nope. Waiting on doctor to call back and to come back Monday. As you all know, we live close to 2 hours away. No we're not coming back Monday. But wait!! We can pick up at any Walgreens. Umm isn't that contradicting from yesterday? Anyways. The staff is extremely rude and it seems they are taking it out on customers. They are angry and tired. Until they hire 10 pharmacists do not come here. Recommended? Nope. Not even an "I'll try again." The worst customer service with pharmacists with attitude. read more

The WORST pharmacy experience my family has had. I have never been so rudely treated while trying to just get a prescription filled. Mean and apparently lacking any skills which are required for this job. Attitude at drive through immediately after I put my car in park. Yelling, slamming the tray in and out. I think we all just went into shock. Why was this woman so angry already? Well, left without prescription and frazzled nerves. I will NEVER go back to this pharmacy, the people in other jobs are really great, just the pharmacy. I have been coming here for the more than 10 years I have lived in Castle Rock. I think that 2 people need to be pointed out for great service. I think both have been there for the full 10 years I have been coming here. Dale in the pharmacy is the nicest guy and has such a great memory. He always remembers our names and is exceptionally friendly. I have never seen him frazzled even in the face of a rush or big line. That is what you want from your Pharmacist! Slowest drive up pharmacy ever. They have no concept of handling two lanes - even though they have two. 'Be with you in one minute' was seven minutes. I usually come back if there is more than one car in line if possible. People are nice, but so slow. read more

Do not EVER go to this pharmacy. Last week I went in to pick up my prescription. I was told they would have it ready for me shortly, 25 minutes later they decide to let me know they're out - but the order would be in Monday. Today I called to see what time Monday since I had already changed my flight previously scheduled for Friday evening and they now decide to tell me it's been on manufacturer back order for a while and they cannot order it. This is the second time they've kept me waiting claiming to be "working on it" then to be told they're out. Now, after I've paid to reschedule a flight, they cannot even order it - which I would think should have been relayed last week when I was there, not that it was "being ordered". Very unprofessional, unorganized and horrific customer service. With how discombobulated they are, I would be nervous if they even gave me the right medication at this point - I will absolutely not being going back to this location. Side bar - being kept on hold for 25 minutes with two different employees picking up the phone and asking me what I was on hold for essentially sums up what your experience will be here. read more
