Horrible! I was trying to contact the pharmacist over the phone and it just keeps ringing. ‍ Do better.

I really being trying my best to do positive reviews, but this was the last straw for me. As a business, where is your manager, where are your employees?? This is disgusting & a hazard. There were rat traps stuck and exposed. I'm already sick, & I went to pick up my medication. Outside of that there is only 1 employee (as always tho) working at the register in the pharmacy and the line was way too long. Me & my child had to stand on that long line right next to this. I'll NEVER understand as we approach 2026 and all these billion of dollars businesses why do PAYING customers have to be treated in such a hazardous way. The wait time was too long so I left. They took out both Rite Aids in the area, so some people have no choice. Who wants to travel far when they're sick. But I will be looking for another pharmacy, far way from this neighborhood. Extremely disappointed in Walgreens, especially when I just saw you built a nice brand new one in the downtown area. read more

Absolutely do not use their pharmacy. I picked up a prescription which was only partially filled, was only given a partial supply, and that they would call when the rest was approved and ready. When they finally called, I went directly in, where they proceeded to charge me *again* for a prescription that I'd already paid for, and argued with me when I tried to point out their own call log and message. Unfortunately, I was stuck paying. Incredibly cold and dismissive and completely going against their own pharmacists. What a waste of my time and money. I can only imagine how terrible this would be for someone who couldn't afford to pay TWICE. Protect yourself and go anywhere else. Went to Walgreens for my medication, as I was status post surgical operation and had receive anesthesia .As one of the female staff was checking out my medications laughed at me when I told her that I was in pain and showing her my injuries, and Id band from the hospital as my family member was receiving the medication from her. I had forgot the staff from the hospital had put my wallet in a bag that was left in the car was not on me tried to verified in another way showing her my ID band and injuries which she continued to refused to provide me with my medications. My family that was with me was able to get my medication because she had ID and seen staff was given me a hard time to obtain my medications. Staff continued to laugh me and antagonize as I showed her my multiple injuries and explained the situation. Staff had no ID on and refused to give me her name along with another male staff that had no ID on. Spoke to Manager and explained the situation which he was not empathetic and had I to repeat multiple times what had happen as he did not care, nor try to understand and refused to give the two employees name or write the names down as requested multiple times. Finally he then gave me the two employees name. Manager then lied and told another family member after I left that have to come back with the medication that I did not pay for. The medication which one was a narcotic was not given to me because I had no ID was given to my other family member. I called the store and spoke to the manager and he said medication was already paid for by the insurance and needed to be scanned out which was an error on their part not scanning it and was receive by someone else. As per law narcotic is supposed to be only given to the patient. After that I had to goto urgent because I was in so much pain from the whole ordeal and may injured my surgical repair fracture. The customer service was horrible, not having staff having t1heir ID's on, laughing at someone medical issue, refusing to provide staff names when requested. read more

Location is very busy and they only have 2 cashier open so you end up being there over an hour so to get a few items. They're just not very organized inside and it leads to everything being slow, poor communication between team members, confused customers unsure where to go or what to do. Stuff is all over the place as well because half the time customers abandon their carts. Can't recommend this location, today they had me standing around for 20 minutes while they helped other customers who came after me in line. read more

The pharmacy is highly unorganized, and the staff is deeply unprofessional. Pharmacies are sources of medicine and medical counseling. They have a responsibility to do no harm and treat every patient with respect. Yet this Walgreens' location seems incapable of following basic medical tenets, nor do they speak to people with respect. This pharmacy opens late and closes early, which denies patients access to drugs that will improve their health and quality of life. The staff has rude attitudes and the unprofessionalism trickles into how they speak to patients or the treatment they offer! The reason why it bothers me; this is a pharmacy within a multi-ethnic Black neighborhood. Pharmacies are part of a healthcare system, and the service they provide this community is worsening health disparities. People are being denied adequate service and life-saving medicine. The attitudes of the employees at this location are increasing stress in the bodies of Black and Brown people, who already experience external stressors. Has anyone heard of epigenetics and how stress can worsen conditions like hypertension, diabetes? Things need to change over there. read more

The worst pharmacy I have ever been to in my entire life. They very rarely answer the phone and its at least a 30 minute wait in person. Never order for delivery because it will never arrive, I personally wasted $170 trying to do so. Prescriptions take a month to fill so if you need your medication urgently you are better off going literally anywhere else. I highly recommend taking the longer subway ride to another pharmacy. read more

Well well well... yet another disappointment. What can I say, welcome to my life. After a whirlwind of recent events that left me disfigured and scared for my safety, I forgot about my mother's upcoming birthday (sue me). I scrambled over to my local Walgreens this morning and purchased the first thing I saw, which happened to be a set of old-school foam hair rollers. These would have to do! Mummy didn't quite see the humorous side in this situation the way I did and told me in a very unappreciative tone that I was being a "bad, rotten, and downright naughty little boy" (I'm 36 mom why don't you get a clue ). We both had a hearty laugh over it in the end and I got her to pose for a silly photo to her reluctance, which I've attached to this review (just for a laugh I suppose, it gets hard out there and sometimes we all need a laugh). The first time I went here, I immediately transferred my prescriptions to the rite aid up the street.... And then they closed that location. It was just such a disorganized nightmare. From the poor selection to everything locked up, I would never shop here if it wasn't the closest pharmacy. Two most recent refills: prescription wasn't ready even though I had ordered the refill 4 days before and had the gate of the pharmacy closed in the faces of several Customers waiting long before closing, including elderly folks. Someone in line with me asked us to wait to speak to the manager. She goes back into the pharmacy and basically hides for 15 min. hoping we'll go away. Finally just says she's not in charge of the pharmacy and that she can tell them what to do. Unexpected bonus: I carried groceries home for one of the elderly ladies in line and she is a fascinating person! read more

idiots locked the doors at 9:50. they're supposed to be open until 10. when i got there they were in the middle of locking it and i asked them to open up for me since they weren't supposed to close for another 10 minutes. the guy just shook his head at me, cowered behind security, and ran back inside. i need cold medication and nowhere else in the neighborhood is open this late. piss poor example of humanity. i pray someone does the same to this man when he needs it. fuck this place. read more

Disorganized pharmacy I ever seen. Have been calling from home to get my prescription but no answer. Once I got there, the waiting time is very long. Bad customer service not only towards me but to the people who were in front of me. There are a lot of complaints. Went to pick up my meds that had been ordered at 1 pm. I arrived at 2:45 and was told that they hadn't been filled. I was then told it'd be 30-45 min. So I sat. And waited. For an hour in 15 minutes. the lady then came out of hiding as she hadn't been helping other customers and said "sorry, thought I gave these to you. Horrible service. When I entered this Walgreens I went straight to the register and asked to put cash money on to my capital one card. The cashier didn't have a clue what I was talking about. So I let the next person in line go, as I attempted to look for the manager. I then approached the male security guard who was on duty at the time. The security guard was having a personal conversation with someone who appeared "Not" to work there. I politely interrupted his conversation and asked him to help me by telling me where I could find a manager. He turned around looked at me and said I don't know where she's at. So I than asked if he could help to locate one and he stated again "I don't know where she is ". I then asked if he was the security on shift and did he work there. He continued his conversation with the person who didn't seem to work there, and ignored me the costumer! When putting in a complaint with the manager, she looked at me and shrugged her shoulders ( as if she couldn't be bothered). This pharmacy is by far the WORST pharmacy in the history of pharmacies by far . What is disheartening is this is a predominantly Afro- Caribbean neighborhood and the "professionals" working at this establishment ALL are from the SAME demographic as this neighborhoods population . The pharmacist by the name Romy ( dark skin and wears glasses and white pharmacist jacket ) who has a very THICK Haitian accent really should get her license taken away based on her lack of professionalism and customer service . Today she was extremely nasty and rude with me when they claimed I had an insurance issue then she LIED and said my insurance does not cover the use of Walgreens as a pharmacy I have to go to CVS . She goes to the back but screams out to the worker ( he has a trini accent skin looks like he bleaches and has dreads ) to not fill my prescription and transfer it . They "claimed" my insurance isn't active and it doesn't work - I call my insurance everything is fine . Many other times they lied to me and said my insurance doesn't cover the Doctors who wrote my prescriptions and I've paid out of pocket for things that should've been covered or at least reduced . I believe they are scammers and are here to hurt the community . This is serious and people are going to the pharmacy to feel better not feel WORSE . Fire the entire staff and start OVER ! Not my favorite Walgreens. Much too small for the neighborhood. They hardlybever have any of the sale items stocked, although they do issue rainchecks, which is great. They have the photo counter as well along with a pharmacy. I do like going to Rite Aid more, just because they have it all. read more

I dislike writing negative reviews but this place is not real. The pharmacy! My goodness, the pharmacy! Went tonight to pick up meds that were submitted by my doctor on Saturday morning. I get there and am told that they aren't ready yet. That I'll have to wait 5 minutes for the pharmacist to package it. I ask why hasn't that happened if the doctor submitted the prescription order on Saturday morning at 11:00am? The woman blankly stares at me and says she doesn't know. 15 minutes passes by and nothing. I go to the counter and ask, do you all call out the names when the orders are ready? A man behind the counter says yes. I see another woman piling the ready orders on a counter with barely enough space to hold it all. So she's doing all kinds of weird positioning to keep the prescriptions from toppling over. 30 minutes after I was told 5 mins wait time, my name is called. I paid for my $h!t and got out of dodge. There's one particular lady who works back there, I wish I knew her name. I'll find out for next time. Or maybe she'll quit and I don't have to. It seems that she is always in a sour mood and doesn't want to be there. And by always, I mean ALL-WAYS! Stank, resting b*tch face and her legs must be made of stone slabs because if I was waiting on her to fill the prescription, Jesus would come first! That's all for now. I came there in the evening around 4ish. Got what I wanted, and was on a long bloody line for almost 30 minutes. SmH I bought a multivitamins buy one get one free situation and one of store brand oatmeal cookies. Anyway I reached the cashier. I told him that this is a buy one get one free item. He scan it and then said yes it is and asked me if I have a Walgreens card ? Yes, so I put in my number in. I told him I'm paying by card. He said okay. In the background I heard a beep. I type my card number and glance at the machine price again. Before I hit enter. This dude put the item at third time. I paused, and asked him something wrong with this price. It look like you scan the item third time. He said, what. .. oh wow. Hold on ... I gave him a strong sturdy stare. While he try his best to not give me eyes contact. This is you tried to get over on me. I told him to vold the items and do it again. He said, um okay okay he can fixed nervously. I wanted to give him the, Will Smith smack. And, walk away.
