I was tired of the lack of service that I received from the local chain drug store when I decided to try the Prescription Center Pharmacy out. My doctor actually recommended that I go there! I would never go anywhere else again. Dave is an extremely knowledgeable pharmacist and I trust his judgement and advice completely. The service is prompt and they have a drive-through for convenience. Besides that, there is always some fun story being told while you wait from either Dave himself or one of the other customers. On April 24th, day after a painful surgery... in bed so went online to order. I saw a free 2 hr delivery on top of screen for orders over 35 bucks. Great! Well..I got two of the 6 items really fast. Couldn't use the 2 without the other 4 so called "customer no service". The 2 items I got were 10 bucks each but I was charged 50.10 immediately for 30.00 worth of stuff. Apparently, some items are not eligible? These were very basic things. Got several stories from customer abuse..they also said the store was out of 20 volume developer..ok that's a joke. Nothing made sense. I requested the remainder of items be cancelled and sent a family member to the local store on Ogden here in Milwaukee. She repurchased my items. I have never received a refund for the items I did not get nor the delivery fees. As a matter of fact I was charged for doordash as well as a delivery fee of 8.95 for some kind of two or three day delivery I wasn't interested in. To add to this nonsense, the 19.98 my daughter spent when she went to the location continues to be reposted to my account. It is the end of the the fourth day of the five days they say they can issue refunds.. nothing yet. In addition, I see a $27 and some odd cents charge on my bank account for April 22nd? I was nowhere near any Sally's the day before my surgery I tell you that. There is no record of what I purchased on my online account or anything. Not only have I not received a refunds but I'm being recharged for purchases! I'm even being charged for things I didn't buy! Megan the store manager was absolutely zero help and so combative I had to hang up. In my opinion she has something to do with this. Avoid Sally's beauty supply at all costs at least this location. To add to this nightmare.. any Sally's corporate number you can find online doesn't work. Now I have to spend my recovery time filing complaints with regulatory agencies. I believe criminal, fraudulent activities are going on here. Online shopping opens us up to this BS.

Even after me stating at least twice a month I switched to Ascension. My previous doctors from Aurora would call and say to me I needed to reestablish care with them before they would consider giving the authorization to fill the script. I have some serious medical conditions such as a seizure disorder anxiety depression diabetes and stage 3 kidney disease. So this kind of mistakes were life threatening and caused me to be hospitalized several times due Hyatt's error in communication. It's been open for a year the store is part beauty supply store and The store carries a little bit of African and Caribbean food from calalloo, smoked fish, spices,palm oil,fufu, plantains,yams,non alcoholic malt beverages, ginger beer, phonecards to African wax prints (cloth). They also carry Shea butter, African black soap, hair for braiding, and African movies(West African). It's on the bus line rt 67- its worth the trek. The store is closed on Sundays.

Their prices are pretty comparable to other grocery stores but they do have some good sales. The vibe is a little chaotic, similar to a Costco sometimes. That being said, they have a phenomenal selection of cheese with local and commercial offerings. We would come back but perhaps during off hours so as to not have to navigate a chaotic parking lot.

The clerks at the other lanes, being in a hurry of course, must just toss everything willy-nilly into a bag (and they'd do exactly the same, even if using the boxes (yes, reusable BOXES) that I bring, and my reusable double paper bags with handles. I pack my stuff a certain way for the ride back home -- so, thanks but no thanks to foregoing the self-check. But yeah, Stan D., nearly always a technical problem at the POS checkout. For both of our last two visits, 2 of 3 self-checks OUT OF ORDER . . . with no one, the entire time, coming around to make any effort, of any kind, to get them up and running. As a bonus -- During my LONG time spend in what should be a fast process (with food thawing the entire time), there's the same ongoing and repeated problem in the lane that WAS "working": frequent yawps of "Please place item on the belt", after it had, of course, already been scanned correctly and, um, DUH, correctly placed onto the belt. Retrieve it from the big pile of done stuff, bring it back, put it onto the belt (AGAIN), swear, hold mock pistol against your temple, pull the mock trigger. The latest 20-minute odyssey, behind just ONE other person, took that long precisely for that reason. (Without those asinine and infuriating glitches, my scanning and paying would be among the fastest in history.) This sh*t no longer feels like a reasonable price to pay, in exchange for what is still, in my view, an excellent selection and good prices (compared to the joke known as Pick 'n Save, and the lovely but costly Sendik's).
