This Walgreens used to be the gold standard. The Pharmacy was amazing and customer service all around was great. Now it's a sh)t hole and the people who work at the pharmacy are always annoyed when you need your medications. It's so sad to see what's happening here. read more

Wasn't asked if I needed a receipt so had to wait for 2 other customers to be checked out so the cashier could go back to the "office " to print my receipt which I needed for reimbursement. Totally annoying that I wasted time for the lack of communication. read more

As a former employee of this location, I went in today to shop and visit an old coworker as it is the closest Walgreens to my house. An employee named Amber was at the cash register. While I was shopping and talking with an old coworker, this employee decided to make remarks and harass me under her breath, but loud enough so I could hear. I checked out in photo to avoid conflict and as I walked out the door not saying anything to Amber at the register. She then continues to make remarks as Im walking out the door. She was trying to provoke a hostile reaction from me. The shift lead involved heard all the interaction. I am a paying customer and despite her feelings she may have towards me or anyone... it was unprofessional and the remarks made are harassing and involve a write up or termination. read more

Waited in line employee (Amber) was done with the transaction. She kept talking to the customer for 15 mins I was in a hurry if she wanted to chat, she should of asked for the customers phone number. I asked for someone else to help me. She was very unprofessional, unpleasant, then she tells me I hope you have a good day. Well not when I have to deal with poor rudness. A passport in just minutes? Great, because I am down to the wire. Might have been false advertising or an inattentive employee. We had to take it about five times because the first few he forgot to have my hair behind my ears or slightly angled, only to print, hand it to me and realize he printed me off center. We came in about 20 minutes to close, I mean it did say passport in minutes. So by the time I had paid for it, waited for it and then received it, we realized it was messed up. The clerk said, well, I guess you need to come back tomorrow because we're closing now! WHAT?! Thankfully, the manager walked in and said, "No, you need to redo this for her now." So, I'm thankful for the management sticking up for the service, but when it comes to a high school student snapping your passport photo, be sure to check the passport photo rules online (not worth getting a passport delayed over a photo). read more

I was going to move my prescription to this Walgreens since I had recently moved. Upon my first visit I saw and heard the pharmacist speak rudely and in a very condescending tone to an older senior lady. She actually said " we don't hand out CANDY back here you know" in response to a question the customer had asked. It was a cruel way to treat any customer let alone a senior citizen. Julie is cosmetics was helpful and respectful. I have to doubt that the female pharmacist would have spoken to a younger male customer in the same tone. She also acted highly wired and not in a professional way a healthcare worker usually acts. I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

I go to this Walgreens due to the professionalism of pharmacist Michele who is kind, courteous and attentive to detail even with a million prescriptions to fill. My neighbor across the street also goes to this Walgreens as well due the kind, thoughtful service Michele provides. In addition the store cashiers and pharmacy assistants are also kind and professional as well taking customer service as a high priority. read more

Here at the Walgreens on JFK in NLR, AR, the store manager is a horrible person. I waited 2 hours to get through to the pharmacy so I called the store manager to see what the adjusted hours were for this location. He didn't want to help, but when he finally did, he kept me waiting a long time. The phone hung up, I called back the person picked up the phone but never greeted me. Instead I could hear her check people out at the register for about 20 mins. I hung up and called back the lady act like she didn't know who I was, she cut me off and put the manager on the phone, then he told me they close for lunch and then close at 4pm. I followed my gut feeling and can to the pharmacy anyway. The pharmacist said they did not close at lunch, but will close at 11pm. Patients need help with assistance at the pharmacy and customers need help in and on the phone with Walgreens store. The way the manager of the store lied to me is very unprofessional and has no customer service skills needed to do the job of managing the store. I have ordered over 101 photo projects online. Each year I order calendars the large ones which you have to pay shipping costs on. This year they mailed my 86-year-old mother in laws calendar to us FULL of someone else's child. It literally was the wrong calendar. So, I chatted with Walgreens the best they can do is resend it and HOPEFULLY it will be here before Christmas. Well, they literally just lost ALL my business. I KNOW they could have offered to expedite the order, but I guess now I know I am not doing any more business with this company; I will be going to Meijer. The pharmacist Michelle rude and condescending. As seen in google reviews, describing Michelle as "entitled" and other yelp review describing her as "wired" "cruel" and "condescending." She is unprofessional and did not follow Doctors orders from an order earlier that same day. I rarely ever review in public forums, but due to the importance of medicine in ones care plan, it is vital for others to be warned in advance...so they do not experience this pharmacist Michele's inexcusable behavior for someone with such responsibility. read more

Parked right out front, went in, pharmacist had the order ready, paid, and got out in five minutes.

My comment is strictly about the accuracy of the price scanning at the register. I went in earlier this week to purchase three items and two of them ran up incorrectly based upon the price tag on the shelf. I question the cashier about it and got nothing but a hassle. She refused to correct the prices and told me that the machine was more accurate than the tags. Unfortunately the law would disagree with her. And so did I. And I left without purchasing anything. Doing a quick Google search on Walgreens pricing I find that walgreens has actually been sued by other state attorney general's office is for having too many in accurate price scan. So my advice is watch the prices and question them if they are incorrect. read more

I am a neighbor of this Walgreens in Elm Grove. I regularly ask managers and employees to empty the trash cans, pick up litter outside and keep their large trash bin covered close. My requests are ignored. They blame the trash on the car wash just east of the building. I have no voice with this Big Company in my neighborhood. I can no longer support this store. Wagcares would not take my survey or password from 3 receipts so I am writing this here. I also phoned Walgreens corporate office and haven't heard back. On 1/17/15 I purchased buy one, get one free of Mega-Krill. One of the boxes was different than the other. So on 1/19/15 I went to exchange the one box for the correct one. At the checkout, Lori was accusatory and said, "Well, when did you buy this." It was on the receipt in front of her. "Well, you didn't buy this here, and the price is different this week." It was an even exchange. I asked her why she was giving me the third degree; I had the right to even exchange the item at any Walgreens. The manager, Jo Marie, didn't have a good attitude either. I was made to feel bad and wrong for something I was entitled to do as a frequent customer. I will never shop at that particular Walgreens again. read more
