This is the cleanest Walgreens I've been to in the Charlotte area. I also got a peek in their stock room and it's immaculate. All the boxes were squared and lined up, everything was properly labeled and in its designated spot on a cart or on the shelf. read more

Godzilla!! Their automation calling and phone app are the worst ever. I requested a refill on their phone app. I was told that they would call my physician to authorize a refill. Crickets. Five days later I call for follow up. No trace of my request to be found. If McDonald's had a system like this, I'd never get my daily Egg McMuffin. read more

I get my prescription filled here. I normally do drive thru. They try their best to be quick especially on friday night and weekend. Best to call in order and then pick up because waiting for a refill takes quite a while. The staff is friendly. Getting n and out this parking lot can be troublesome. One way is a one way street and thr other exit the traffic is very busy so u have to wait for a driver to motion for you to pull out in front on them. My friend was bleeding after her stitches busted and the ladies in the store were yelling at us for opening the gauze before we paid for it. The only reason we did that was because we didn't want the blood to drip everywhere. But apparently they didn't mind the blood. We were definitely going to pay for the gauze, just needed to control the bleeding. And we really didn't appreciate a lecture about how to make a purchase in the middle of an emergency. read more

I have shopped at this location for 13 years since I moved to Charlotte. Today 03/26/2023 will be the LAST time I ever shop at this store. I went in to purchase a few items and a nose hair trimmer was one of the items for about $13.99. I push the buzzer because for some stupid reason the items are locked up. Well this rude woman walks up and says what do you you need with an expression like she really does not want to be there or like assisting black people. I advised the trimmer, so she opens the lock grabs it and starts walking to the register. I am like I can't see it. I at least want to read the shit to see if It has everything I want in it and if it is rechargeable. She says I can let you take it due to store policy. So I am just supposed to buy this shit before I can see it, and I had a buggie that was empty so I had to get water and other things before I left out. She starts talkimg shit to the other worker and I as her can I see it? No we have to bring it to the register. At this point I am like these people are nuts. So I go grab the other stuff I need, pissed to the point I wanted to just go to CVS across the street and buy all I needed. So I get to the register and pay for my stuff and the lady ask oh let me grab the trimmers, I told her flat I am not purchasng it and that she could put it back because I basically was profiled as if I would steal. She said sorry it is our policy. I said nothing else. I get home call the store manager who was very dismissive and non-chalant about it and advised it was corporate policy, meanwhile I had gone in that same stor two weeks earlier and purchased Whale Clipers that were locked , no problem. They did not grab those and charge to the register without me looking at what I was purchasing. Needless to say that after 13 years of shopping at that location religeosly I will NEVER set foot inside Walgreens again. If this is their Corporate Policy it is a shitty policy AND apparently it depends on who is on shift at the time whether it is implemented. Both my wife and I had our prescriptions filled here a few times. When I say a few I mean no more than a handful (5). We have had both of our medications mis-filled. My wifes was for incorrect anti-biotics, not life threatening, but annoying seeing as we put so much trust in pharmacists to help, when they can be doing the complete opposite out of pure laziness/ignorance/lack of care/under-staffed. Mine was a very dangerous situation with a seizure medicine,when that happened I called and was told the pharmacist on duty was too busy to talk to me. I then called 1800WALGREENS and filed a complaint. I received a call from the store manager (who does not work in the pharmacy) a few days later, and was left a voice mail that started off by blaming my doctor for not writing the prescription clearly (they have an obligation to call my doctor if there was any question). Never once did this store manager apologize for what I went through, and on top of that he spoke ignorantly about something he had no idea about. He tried telling me that the medicine of which I was written did not exist the way is was written. He then went on to describe not only what I was prescribed, but what I was holding in my hand by that point, and proceeded to tell me, it didn't exist, and my doctor was at fault. I never received a call from the pharmacy manager whom I tried to get a hold of quite a few times, to discuss what happened. I was not looking for any hand outs, just someone to take responsibility, and also to acknowledge their mistakes hoping they don't kill someone with their ignorance in the future. If this is how Walgreens handles not only customer service, but their customers/patients lives I hope to never have to fill any type of medicine here again! read more

Worst pharmacy in the history of pharmacies. Plan to wait for atleast 15 minutes on a good day to several days on a bad day. The staff is rude and store is usually very dirty. Had prescriptions with to few a pills and had them filled with the wrong medication. read more

I feel like the two 1 star reviews aren't representative of the pharmacy currently. I've been filling prescriptions for a couple years at this location, and things generally go pretty smoothly. A drop off prescription takes anywhere from 15-30 minutes and picking up an already-filled prescription is pretty immediate. I really have no complaints. I would give the people that work in the pharmacy 0 stars if I could . They let people wait at the window while there prescription is filled after 25 minutes I was waited on . I ask if Walgreens will ever fix the customer service here. She said I doubt it. They have lost several prescriptions of mine that were fax to them. I could go on and on . They are open 24 hours go after midnight if you go at all. read more

Wow!!! Worst experience... so I walk in the door and immediately I start to be followed by an employee.. she walked by me several times and followed my down 2-3 isle.. lucky her shift ended.. from there I went to look down the Christmas isle while waiting on my husband.. I reached to grab a tree decoration on the shelf above me and different employee came out of nowhere and informed me they the same item was on the isle over, I explained it was ok bc I was not going to get one.. mind you it was small decoration that clipped on the tree, weighed no more then a feather.. she then scolded me by telling me that they don't want customers touching things on the higher shelf bc they don't want them to get hurt.. which I understand.. but I am an adult and was not lifting anything over a pound, I was not standing on the bottom shelf to reach it, my feet were flat on the floor..all I can say is it was just too much.. I am so grateful for this pharmacy!! The staff are so helpful and polite and the service is great. Even when I have come in to a long line, it moves quickly! I had such a horrible time at the CVS across the street it is a welcome relief to have quality service. read more
