This location is clean and organized! My visit was for the Photo Department this time. There was a line of three people in front of me and three behind me. The poor photo associate had to keep reprinting everyone's order because even though we received emails that our orders were ready they were not. So it took quite a while to get to the counter. I typically torture myself by going to the CVS just a few blocks from here, but I was coming from the other direction so stopped in at Walgreens. This store is at a really busy intersection with construction making it hard to get in and out of. Other than that, it's a great location. The store itself is a standard Walgreen's. Nothing special, nothing bad. On this particular visit, I was in search of a new passport photo. I spoke with the cashier at the front because there was nobody at the photo counter. No issues, she was very friendly and called someone to help right away. The team member helped me with my passport photo was friendly and professional and got everything knocked out in no time. They were also a couple dollars cheaper than CVS for the passport photo. While I was there, I snagged a few grocery items I knew I needed. Decent prices and was helped again by a friendly cashier. It may be a little further from home, but I think I'll start stopping here more often for the better experience. read more

23 November 2020 Bedford Texas USA On November 20, 2020 I had to go to Walgreens at the 4121 Harwood Rd branch. be at Bedford Texas. There I was helped by Mr. Ryan Mudon. With my prescribed doctor's prescription. Have pretty nasty physical complaints. With efficiency, very clear language, Mr. Ryan Mundon gave me the prescription drugs. Since I had complaints about it after this, I went back to Mr. Ryan Mundon. Spoken on the phone several times, he is extremely correct, what a customer-friendliness. Don't experience much. His knowledge he has is excellent, but what really appealed to me about him is the Integrity, which unfortunately most people don't have. Money, especially in the money-guzzling pharmaceutical industry now known to everyone in USA, is not everything in life. Despite the fact that it is of course necessary in our very Western society. We are originally a military family from Europe, the Netherlands, the Dutch, have a high business cycle (economy), one of the best healthcare in the world, high work ethics, high decency standards, but Respect is what I have seen and experienced personally Now with Mr. Ryan Mundon. Sometimes the language barrier in this case plays a role in Dutch in a legal and practical way in terms of language, and grammatically even then it is patience, the explanation, ... taking the trouble to provide the information correctly and mention it. See there the patience of Mr. Ryan Mundon. His empathy is of a considerable high level. The word so easy to say: Integrity is not the same for everyone. We have an expression in Dutch: Quote: It doesn't matter how educated, talented, rich or cool you think you are, how you interact with people ultimately says it all. Integrity is everything. Unquote: Immigrants are people, especially people who are willing or allowed to live anywhere in the world for various reasons and who are committed to achieving goals other than in their own country. Given that my /our international and military education (from childhood, background), at the time ended up in business and career within and outside Europe (worldwide), I have dealt with many people in the world and still have been able to work in the business world. Pre-eminently, besides being a very charming man, fantastically stylish, Mr. Ryan Mundon. My respect / appreciation for him. I see not only a colleague who works at a pharmacy, but also an intellectual man with a very high (work) ethics in my opinion. A few keywords from Mr. Ryan Mundon as he happens to me can describe what is so important to be able to work effectively: High (work) ethics, There is morality, empathy, being patient because of any language barrier, very accurate, knowledge of the matter, the effort, explaining the medicines, making an effort for the customer / patient. Along this way, Dear Mr. Ryan Mundon, I sincerely thank you for your very good advice in guiding you for the right medicines. The open, highly communicative guidelines that your pharmacy office enforces, that's how it should be. You are an example to many affiliates here in the US. If I may say without offending anyone. I don't use the pharmacy here but I have been in many many times to grab something here or there, and I always like this Walgreens. It's nice and clean, the employees are kind, everything is relatively organized, and they consistently have whatever it is I need, whether it be Advil, tampons, a drink, gum, hour photo pick-up, mascara, tape, or even a gift for someone. Lots of stocking stuffer kinds of trinkets, cute frames and candles, a great seasonal and card section.. I love Walgreens. I actually got quite a few decent Christmas goodies here over the holidays, including great name-brand toys for little ones and a nice thermos and something called a cinnamon broomstick (which is literally just a cinnamon scented broomstick that will make any room you put it in smell magical). I think they only sell them at Christmas time but I wish they had them all year! read more

I ordered a heating pad for curbside pickup. I currently have covid 19 and suffer from body aches. I used the app and received a message that they would email me when it was ready in 30 minutes. After way more than 30 minutes had passed my son went to the store and asked them for the order that was paid for. Two employees looked and could not find the order however my bank account certainly was charged. My son was told that he could go ahead and purchase it and that we could cancel the order through the app. We go on the app and there is no option for canceling the order. I am very frustrated by this horrible app service. Really sick people don't need this hassle. If it does not work then turn off the option in the app. read more

I am disappointed! There have been several times that I have requested refills for my meds and waited 2 weeks and then had to call Walgreens Pharmacy asking about my meds to find out that I need to go in for a dr visit first! Why can't Walgreens Pharmacy take on the responsibility to call and tell their customers this when they hear from the dr?! Walgreens is a good pharmacy but the service is EXTREMELY SLOW. the people are nice and working hard but they seem to be understaffed and it must be good to know your customers will still come without enough people to help them. It seems like the management would have additional people to man the counter and drive thru so they could get more business. But no... the staff is always friendly but you can see on their faces they are stressed because they cant get to everyone in a timely manner. read more

Slowest. Pharmacy. EVER. It's a busy store so they *should* have more than 1-2 people working. I've tried the drive-thru as well as walking in. It doesn't matter, you will still wait a minimum of 20+ minutes on a prescription that has already been called in. There's a CVS a block away so I plan on transfering all my prescriptions and hope they are more efficient. read more

I've used a bunch of pharmacies in the HEB area, trying to find one that's competent since I moved here. This is the absolute best one. Anytime I need to fill an odd prescription, they seem to have the medicine when no one else does. It's easy to ask questions and be treated like a human being, which is a tall order to fill sometimes. Their pharmacy is fast and friendly with the ability to help with complicated situations, as all pharmacies should be, but sadly really aren't. Awesome team in the pharmacy- VERY pleased! This place USED TO BE awesome! I switched to them because the pharmacy staff was so helpful and knowledgeable. About two years ago it went way downhill to just acceptable but it was easier to just deal with it than to switch pharmacies. Within the last years the service and knowledge has dropped to totally unacceptable. I stayed for a while thinking it was probably just the whole pandemic and trying to be patient. I was horribly wrong. On multiple occasions this location randomly decided to order medication rather than contacting me to let me know that they didn't have it and ask eat I would like to do. So in the past 6 to 12 months I have spent a week without my diabetes medication and a week without my heart medication and on two separate occasions a week without my ADHD medication. On every single occasion I have called them and spoken to them in person and ask them to please stop doing this and if they are out of a medication to call me and let me make my own medical decisions to no avail. In addition, one month my ADHD medication was short 3 pills. I contacted them within an hour of the incident and was told that a note would be made so that I could come in the next day to have that corrected since they would be closing before I could get there. I went in the next day and not only was the not NOT made, but I was treated like a criminal by the pharmacy tech for asking about my missing pills. read more

The pharmacy at this location is lacking in every sense of the word. This is spearheaded by a Pharmacy Manager (feel free to google) that is incapable of performing the tasks required of even a competent hired employee. For the past six months, I have been told fabrications of false truths by someone in a position that should be honest and forthright, as well as customer service driven. To be frank, it has been the complete latter in regards to the overall experience I have had in my dealings with the Pharmacy Manager at this location. After updating all of my records, insurance coverage, prescription discount program, GoodRX account and general prescriptions with the Pharmacy Manager upon moving my account to this location; it soon became alarming that I continued to have the same issues over the next six months! Every month, I would be told by the Pharmacy Manager that I didn't have refills when refills where sent by my PC Doctor and Specialist in advance, a month ahead of time, with up to a three month supply. I would call my PC Doctor and Specialist and have to request an additional three month supply be resent for my medications. To make matters worse, I would be charged either in full, partially in full with little regard to my health coverages/discount programs on file and in network, or a complete ninety day count would be filled. This all happened six times in a row over six months. The last two months, I was given the wrong dosage on two medications, which I immediately documented with the Pharmacy Manager. The Pharmacy Manager did not take responsibility for this mistake and in turned blamed me and my PC Doctor for no apparent reason. I informed the Pharmacy Manager that they were out of line, and asked if they had ever verified this supposed change with my Doctor or Specialist. The answer was no. Today, this happened once again, and I asked to work with another pharmacist on this reoccurring issue. The Pharmacy Manager became hostile and argumentative, even threatening to pull already filled medications. Mind you, I have two serious pre-existing conditions that I take medication daily for and could be hospitalized or worse if not regimented with my prescribed daily dosage. That being said, these other filled medications were the correct dosage and count. I pointed this out to the Pharmacy Manager and asked if she was "denying my right to my health coverage in network". At this point, the Pharmacy Manager involved another patron in our conversation, told the other patron private information about my health (see HIPAA guidelines) and then made false accusations against me that had no merit or evidence. Furthermore, due to the Pharmacy Manager's lack of professionalism, customer service, client/patient privilege, blatant disregard for HIPAA, and need to vindicate the unwarranted claims, allowed the other patron to verbally assault me with expletives and scare tactics. Its a slippery slope when you're in the wrong, one must drag others down with them in the mud. I quickly diffused the situation professionally and candidly and asked the Pharmacy Manager's Assistant for a Form of Grievance from a Supervisor. I wasn't provided one by the "acting" supervisor, but left my information and set a follow up time to discuss at length the Pharmacy Manager in question. Ironically, I went back to my previous Walgreens location (undisclosed at this time) and asked the same questions which were addressed with exceptional customer service and a general urgency for fixing the issue. Needless to say, there was never an issue to begin with. All of my scripts had been sent twice a month, every month, for the past six months. All of my information was updated and in the Walgreens Pharmacy system. Plus, the Pharmacist on hand thanked me for bringing this issue to their attention and put measures in place to make sure this never happened again. All of this information was pulled from the Walgreens at this location in question. I find this very telling in regards to the inability of the Pharmacy Manager at this location in question to act in the best interest of the patrons at this store. If this Pharmacy Manager in question is to continue in a leadership role for Walgreens, I would strongly encourage them to attend customer service, leadership, and anger management training. In addition, it is clearly evident that the Pharmacy Manager in question is not up to date with Marketplace and HIPAA guidelines, and in turn; I can't stress the importance of these yearly trainings as someone that is in the Health industry. Irregardless, I strongly encourage Walgreens to provide the opportunity for all aforementioned training for the Pharmacy Manager in question as well as the pharmacy staff at this location. Attitude reflects leadership, and as I stated before, it is severely lacking at this location. read more

They are so helpful and always follow through with calling me back and helping me out. This particular time his name was Ryan , he was great!!! But everyone else there too! They typically only have one have one cashier, so sometimes you might have to wait a minute or two, but never had a bad experience here.

I've been using this pharmacy for a very long time out of loyalty, and location. The pharmacy staff is very friendly and they are always working super hard. But by golly, they just need some more employees! I'll be honest...every time I sit in the drive through line it is at least a 20-30 minute wait for a pick-up only. They've usually got my Rx ready quickly when ordered by the doctor, but actually getting someone to wait on me is another story. Not because they aren't doing anything, but just because they are working the inside register and the drive through line. It's a wee-bit frustrating, but I give them props for working their tails off. On the plus side, Walgreen's sends me text message reminders when I am out of my regular Rx's, they take my insurance, you can get a flu shot on site and they send me text messages letting me know when my meds are ready to pick up in store. read more

I stopped going to Walgreens and CVS pharmacies years ago but my doctor sent me to GoodRX.com to get a coupon for one of my drugs and Walgreens had the best offer. I called this pharmacy and immediately noticed their excellent customer service. They took care of transferring my prescription from another pharmacy and when I went to pick it up, I was treated so kindly by both the tech and the pharmacist who came to the drive thru window to go over the medication. She was also extremely slow taking way too long just to ring up one customer. Her associate used in appropriate language in front of my kids. Super slow! This pharmacy is ridiculous! They always give me times when my prescriptions will be ready (30 minutes, an hour) and it doesn't matter because when I get there it's not ready! My prescription yesterday was sent in by my daughters pediatrician at 3:30 and when I got there at 4 they told me to come back at 5:30. The prescription was written wrong so they couldn't give it to me (and they were barely trying to fill it when I got there at 5:50) BUT if they would have filled it when they were suppose to, they would have had time to call my pediatrician before they closed and gotten it situated! My pediatrician called them ASAP this morning to fix it and I waited an hour to call and they said "give us 30 minutes" I don't know why I expected anything more from them. read more
