If I could give negative stars, I would. I had a very serious and upsetting experience at this Walgreens pharmacy involving my dog's seizure medication. I requested a refill earlier in the week and was told it needed vet approval. My vet contacted the pharmacy. I followed up and was told the prescription would be ready the same day. Later that evening, I was told it was suddenly "out of stock" and had to be ordered. The next day, I was told the order had been placed too late and would be delayed again. Because of these repeated failures and inaccurate information, my dog missed three doses of critical seizure medication. After calling back again, another staff member checked and found that the prescription had actually already been filled the previous day--this was never communicated to me. As a direct result of these errors, my dog suffered a major, horrible seizure. This is not just poor customer service--this reflects a serious breakdown in communication, verification, and basic pharmacy responsibility. When handling medications like phenobarbital, accuracy and urgency are not optional. I have escalated this issue to corporate and am awaiting follow-up, but I strongly urge better training, communication, and accountability to prevent this from happening to anyone else. No human or animal should be put at risk due to this level of negligence. read more

If I could give it a zero I would they're the worst pharmacy I will never return they don't keep your info on file for insurance so when you go to pick up your medication it isn't approved and no one tells you so then you have to wait hours longer it's absolutely ridiculous read more

Not happy with this Walgreens years ago - they were difficult with my wife. Gave them another try last year when Rite-Ade across the street closed. Automated notification system poor. Poor communication between Pharmacy & my doctor's office. Poor communication with me directly. Tried to discuss my complaint with the Pharmacy Manager directly. I was relegated to the "Senior Pharmacist". Not receptive to criticism, argued childishly with me. Explained all fault was with me. As a result, she refused to fill an approved prescription. Filed a phone complaint with corporate, no call back. Transferred my prescriptions across the street to Shoprite, so far kind direct courteous communications, my prescriptions were filled timely, communication good between Doctor's office and Pharmacy. Walgreen's Bayville does not make me feel they want my business, and they made me feel they don't give a Rat's ass about me or what I think. read more

I asked the stupid AI to transfer me to the pharmacy. The stupid AI says it can help me see the status of my prescription. I say STATUS. It then asked me a million and one questions and then finished with asking me for my phone number. I told it my phone number and it asked again. I typed in my phone number and it asked again. Finally I just press 0 now I have been on hold for 15 minutes with one caller ahead of me. I could just drive there which I have a feeling that's what I will end up doing. Then you wonder why everyone is going to online pharmacies that makes it easy to talk to someone and get help. HIRE HELP or you will be like the rest of the pharmacies that go out of business. read more

This pharmacy is horrible it's going to take the three yes three days to fill my meds. I told the lady I need my meds as I can withdraw and she didn't care. I take mental health meds and they can't be stopped abruptly and all she bantered was they are busy it takes that long. I asked to speak with a pharmacist and she told me they were busy. I then asked to file a complaint and she sent me to a voicemail. I've been in there that day I said and they were not busy she had no response but three days for my prescription to be ready. Don't walk, run from this business. It has taken me three days to get a prescription filled after I had pre-registered with the pharmacy the week before. The pharmacist complained to me that they are overwhelmed because the sister Pharmacy next-door shut down mind you, the sister Pharmacy easily did twice as much business with less staff. The pharmacist (Danielle S.) is a miserable bitch who needs to find a new job. Maybe she's overworked and can't handle the workload of the customers and/or her life, but she does NOT know how to speak to people or cater to them. She has an extremely poor attitude and doesn't even bother listening to anyone when they speak. It's about the CUSTOMER. Regardless of the situation the customer is "supposed to always be right" she has no compassion and demonstrates that as a poor pharmacists as she threatens to withhold medications knowing people can withdraw. She clearly isn't knowledgeable then. I can see from all the poor reviews that this isn't the first time there's been an issue. Walgreens should Consider her position and maybe a resignation...maybe it's time for her to resign since she's an old bitter woman who again lacks compassion for her customers. Nasty, condescending pharmacist who I will be being reporting to Corporate. I have used Walgreens for the past 12+ years and have NEVER ever had a problem with switching to a different location d/t moving, work, etc. I will now be switching to a new pharmacy altogether thanks to her. I'd rather deal with the hassle of completely switching pharmacies than to ever give them another cent of my money. It is no surprise they have such horrible reviews. worst Pharmacy I've ever been to. they have the rudest, inconsiderate pharmacist I've ever dealt with. They should be close down. The Rite Aid that is located across the street was so kind and very helpful. I am taking my business there from now on. my advice is don't ever use them. I will not be stepping foot in the Walgreens ever again. One day me and my friend were walking down the aisle with skincare and were in the Burt's bees isle. We noticed a lady staring at us and realized she was a worker and when we were asked if we needed help we said no since we were just browsing. My friend then picked up a lip product and noticed the lady staring AGAIN? She put the lip product down and we went to the drinks isle. I can see in the reflection of the glass on the drinks door that the lady is following me and my friend, we think it's creepy but don't say anything since we hadn't done anything wrong. After me and my friend are done getting our snacks we go and checkout and a nice man helped us. Out of no where the lady comes in and says "what happened to the lip butter" I look at my friend and she says "I put it down in the isle" we then see the lady RUN to the isle where we had been. This happened weeks ago but today I walked into the store and found her staring at me. She had a cart with opened items that had been stolen and began talking about me (I knew this because she was pointing) and began saying I had a "purchase record of stealing" which is COMPLETELY FALSE as I hadn't taken anything at all from the Walgreens‍ .I was asked if I was okay multiple times and I was again just browsing, she went over to where I was over and over which made my experience so uncomfortable. I don't know her name but she had blonde hair, she's older, dark brown eyes, and little on the bigger side. She works in the makeup isle. I can't believe I was accused and then talked about like I had taken something which is truly unbelievable. read more

I use to like this store up until a few days ago. I purchased a hair product which was suppose to " remove " hair color from your hair. Furthermore, followed instructions and did not work., not even slightly. I went on to explain this to the manager with the half empty box and container. She refused to take back and told me to take it up with the company. Now mind you this was a pricy product which is why I am quite livid I could not return. Aside from that ... This " manager" was not at all personable or friendly. As I walked into the store she was chit chatting with a contractor person who was in the store and therefore seemed annoyed to have her conversation interrupted by a customer. Really?! read more

Just went for my yearly Flu shot, which i always request Carrie , the pharmacist. She is outstanding!! I am a big chicken when it comes to getting shots and you will never feel any pain when she is administering them. pharmacy is AWFUL!!! Always, always make you feel like a total inconvenience. In person or on the phone. After being on hold 2 times (was hung up on during the first call) and barked at with the greeting of the second call and put on hold for 6 minutes gave up and went to Rite Aid across the street which was MUCH more pleasant! read more
