This place is the most unprofessional facility I've ever had the displeasure of being at. The supervisor, Mr (and I use that term VERY loosely) Richard Ciubinski Jr is disrespectful and a danger to patients. I went today and was refused my medication. REFUSED. I was receiving false text t messages regarding my scripts at this location. I asked to speak with the head pharmacist, he was so exasperated when asked to speak to me, slamming his hands on the counter. He even threw my phone back at me, again with with no answers. I'm disabled, the medication in question is dangerous if stopped immediately. Withdrawal and seizures are some of the side effects if its stopped. And I was refused. I had to CALL THE POLICE to get him to SELL me my medication. Which is illegal. When the police inquired on my behalf to obtain a corporate number to call and make a co plaint the store manager gave them an incorrect number. Twice. Still refusing to give an appropriate coperate number. The ADA parallels the Civil Rights Act of 1964. If the patient is disabled, as determined by coverage under Social Security, Medicare, or private disability insurance, that patient is covered under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). I will be following this through as an illegal and discriminatiory action by Richard Ciubinski Jr. read more

It is impossible to talk to anyone on the phone and the automated system has no way to ask if a prescription has been filled. Communicating with the store has to be done in person and it is not easy for me to get there. If I could give zero stars I would! So sorry that my nearby Riteaid closed. read more

Id give zero stars if possible. I can't speak for the regular staff but I can say the pharmacists are the most rude, nasty and ignorant people you will come into contact with. My doctor refilled a prescription for a cough medicine over a month ago and just needed to refill once more. The staff told me they were refusing me service as it was "too soon". When questioned, the pharmacist manager wrongly used the term professional courtesy and hung up on me. All this when I've personally seen individuals who are clearly under the influence walk out with filled prescriptions of who knows what. If you want a team of people pretending to be medical professionals. Come here. If you want your medicine, as your doctor ordered. Stay far away from this place. They should be ashamed of themselves. read more

It's always a hassle when moving and having to switch pharmacies. But Samantha here, is a gem!!! She is so inviting. Today was my second time visiting this CVS and she remembered me, and that I'm new to town. This store is always clean, in order, and fully stocked with what I'm looking for. I wanted to take a minute out of my day to give recognition to the employees Jessie & Shawna! They are absolute rockstars! There is another young gentleman with brown hair that is very helpful as well! (So Sorry I don't know his name) They are always so helpful, and kind to me as a couponer. It could be nerve wrecking trying to coupon and they always take the time out of their day to always stop and help me out. I always try to make it easy for the cashiers for a smooth transaction, but as a couponer things can't always be perfect. I just moved here and chose this CVS because of it's proximity to my new home. Having issues with staff following through. They say they'll contact the doctor to get a refill- but they don't. Days later when I call to check on progress, they haven't even made any attempt to contact the physician- and don't seem to care that they dropped the b I need to decrease the low score to one star. I've been trying to get a prescription filled for two weeks. I've had 3 technicians/ cashiers lie to me about it. I've bee on the phone with my insurance company, and Caremark ( who they also lied to and Left on hold for about 15 minutes- while my insurance company and I were also on hold,as we were on a 3 way call). I've also been talking with their corporate office about this situation. Corporate was very apologetic and said there needed to be more training with this store. CVS Pharmacy - Drugstores Near Me - Lanoka Harbor, New Jersey

The worst! Been trying to get a prescription carried over from the CVS in Brick for over a week to Lanoka Harbor CVS. Brick CVS keeps filling it out even though it's not on auto fill and I don't live there anymore and I asked them to stop the past 2 months already but they just don't know why it keeps happening, they just tell me to call Lanoka Harbor and have it transferred . I call they say "no problem, it'll be ready by 3". Not ready, no call. Then they tell me it's not even in stock and to wait. I come back the day they tell me and have to go through the same process 3 more times!!!! 7 days later - still no prescription! Brick cancelled my prescription , they don't have it in stock now! I'm calling the dr to have them fill it at Rite Aid. Good bye CVS. Would it kill you to call your customers and let them know any of this before they show up? 3 times? read more

I was pleasantly surprised when I had switched my old pharmacy to this CVS. When it came to problems with my families prescriptions the pharmacists are always so helpful , even offering to call the doctors themselves. It's also a great help with my sick kids that they have a drive thru. read more
