Walgreens in Battleground has been my go-to pharmacy since I moved out here. When Covid first hit, they were struggling and it left me frustrated, due to not being able to get my meds (short staffed - backed up). Understandable though! :) Since then, they have really gotten their act together. It's been super easy and quick going there. The pharmacy tech Chris is usually the one at the window, and he remembers my last name - I get meds once a month. He has made it very simple for me to just quickly grab my meds and go. Props to him. Scheduled an online appointment for an RSV vaccine and completed all documentation online before today's 11:45 appt.The clerk said to have a seat. . Well 45 minutes later I went to the window intending to simply cancel and be on my way.Well then they asked me to wait a while longer.It was odd to me that no employee ever updated me during the long waiting time for an injection that took 2 minutes. While waiting I observed a disgruntled woman complaining that was a week without medication and another man that walked off in frustration. It was not as if there were several people waiting for service.It did appear the two clerks were busy with drive through customers.I would have appreciated even the insincere courtesy of "sorry to keep you waiting...or we appreciate your patience".None came. I certainly will not use the Walgreens pharmacy in the future. read more

They have a big selection but customer service was poor. I feel that customers should be treated nicely and should be respected.

The staffing level is unacceptable. The line is usually 15 people deep. They do not answer phone calls. My auto refills have disappeared. The drive thru is closed. It is not the clerks fault. Totally management issues. Bye bye. read more

Worst pharmacy I've ever been to. I've always used Walgreens and this location will activate a 3 year old prescription for the wrong dose and of course charge you for it because it's the same medication name you were supposed to be picking up. You will then have to call them back to explain that the dose is off and you will have to call insurance to get them to release the correct prescription because you picked up the wrong dose. Also be prepared to call your doctors office and pharmacy 4+ times each to try to get prescriptions renewed. read more

Have ended up transferring my prescriptions to Walmart as either the hours of this location are very limited, they even close for lunch, or open late, or don't have staff available, or don't have my medications, or seem to always be waiting on something form my doctor. Never an issue with Walmart which has long hours, full staff, and seems to be cheaper too. I also used to have my photos done here, but they seem to have hired some new "woke" photo staff that if you send a print order that is against their political views, they won't print. Nothing obscene, just displaying a more conservative view. Guess Walmart gets my money there also. read more

Incompetent to say the least. I have used this pharmacy since I moved to Battle Ground last year. I've always found Walgreens to be convenient in the past, and have never had issues getting my prescriptions. That all changed with this location. I'm a type 1 diabetic, and need my insulin to survive. Every time I have tried to refill my prescriptions the last 4 months, there has been an issue. I typically just use the app to order, but I ordered in person the last time (to ensure a smooth order) and was told it would be ready the next day. After a week, it is still not filled. I have been sitting on hold trying to speak with a staff member for the last 45 minutes and will be out of insulin soon. Not only does this location not follow through on what they say, but they put the patients dependent on their refills in danger. I highly recommend not using this pharmacy location for you own health and safety. read more

I have tried to be understanding about staffing and the issues that have been going on BUT enough is enough! I'm sick of the constant mess ups at this pharmacy. The total lack of patient care. The lack of medications in a timely manner has them doing partial fills (then once in partial fill stays NO other pharmacy can fulfill the meds. You never know When or if the pharmacy will Actually be open! I contacted corporate and was told due to vaccine mandates they are still extremely short staffed! This is unacceptable! It's been proven over and over the vaccine doesn't stop the sores. BRING back Sanity and hir drop the mandates! I'm moving all my scripts!!!! read more

Once again Walgreens Battle Ground has proven it is the WORST drug store in the states of Washington and Oregon. I only have one prescription left here. (I was able to move all the others to a much better pharmacy.) I called and spoke with a pharmacy tech (live person) to get the last refill of a prescription and was told it would be ready the next day. I just went to pick it up at the drive thru window at 3:30 pm and there was a sign saying that the drive thru was closed and you had to go into the store. Right behind me were two more cars. So I parked and went to the indoor pharmacy windows only to find a line of more than 8 people winding back into the isles. I don't have a half hour to stand in line because, once again, this store doesn't have the personnel to run as a business. Thankfully, this is the last time I will ever have to go there! Walmart now has 2 drive up pharmacy windows and I have never had a problem with them EVER! read more

Why doesn't Walgreens just close this store? They provide crap service to their customers. Pharmacy is a dumpster fire. Closed today as the pharmacist is having a baby. No backup pharmacist? Several weeks ago they were closed on a Saturday . I have stood in line and waited at the drive through for over 30 minutes , numerous times. Seems to be little to no management involvement either. This Walgreens doesn't measure up to my usual Walgreens (in Vancouver, on Mill Plain and 136th). But it did have a pleasant woman at the check-out counter, thus the generous 2 stars. I went in with the intention of getting a flu vaccine, possibly one for Pirate Grrl. When I asked the pharmacist about single dose vs. multi-dose vaccinations, she had no clue about what I was talking about, even when I explained that for my daughter I wanted to avoid the extra preservatives that come in the multi-dose vial. She didn't think there was any such thing as a single dose flu vaccine. If she hadn't been so unpleasant, I would have got my flu vaccine anyway, but I decided that her attitude didn't bode well for my tender skin. When I got home, I checked the CDC website on flu vaccines to make sure that I hadn't lost my mind. It states "The single-dose units are made without thimerosal as a preservative because they are intended to be opened and used only once. Additionally, the live-attenuated version of the vaccine (the nasal spray vaccine), is produced in single-dose units and does not contain thimerosal." You'd think that any pharmacist worth her salt would have known this. read more

That's pretty mind blowing, let alone EXTREMELY helpful! Kat is truly an asset and was able to navigate me through the store to other items I needed...an added bonus!! Went here on a Saturday afternoon to pick up some 30mg Sudafed from behind the pharmacy counter. The place was pretty dead, but I was greeted by two different store personnel, which was nice. The Pharmacist was nice and checked me out with zero hassle. read more

I would give a ranking of 0 if I could. After spending hours at the ER with my son I dropped off 2 medications at another Walgreens. Unfortunately the pharmacist promptly and politely told me that only 1 was available but she called the Battleground location and they had a partial which they could fill and order the remainder for pickup in 2 days. When I arrived I was told it still was not ready but they were working on it but would be ready in 10 -15 min. 40 minutes later I asked for an appropriate time and was told they were still working on it. Finally, after asking again I was told they didn't have it. During about 15 minutes of investigation of how this happened and what I needed to do to get the situation fixed and a new prescription written up since none of the Walgreens had it and it was a controlled narcotic, the pharmacist still had NOT and and has not EVEN NOW spoken to me . The tech handling this was the epitome of rude and unprofessional always speaking to the young lady at the register NOT ME even though I was right there in front of her. They told me I needed to call the ER and get a new script written because they had called around and no one including "Fred Meyer and Safeway" had the medication. I finally called the original pharmacist from the first location. She solved it in a couple minutes. She cancelled the original prescription so I could have it filled at a Fred Meyer less than 3 miles away with stock. Needless to say, even though Battleground is the closest to my house, I put the other items I was purchasing back and will NEVER darken the entrance of this location again. They put my son through unnecessary discomfort waiting for his medication and showed a lack of customer care and complete INCOMPETENCE. Blaming it on the other location was reprehensible especially considering Fred Meyer somehow was able to communicate and get it right with the same information they were given. A read more
