Has to be the worst pharmacy in Baton Rouge. Go through the drive through literally any time of the day and you'll wait 30 minutes minimum. Go inside, it's not better; maybe worse. And in my experience the people have not been very helpful either. read more

I have had zero issues with this pharmacy up until lately. I was prescribed a medication that I no longer needed and it was cancelled and I needed another medication instead but they gave me the cancelled medication and when I went back, there was a new tech and she literally argued with me about the medication saying it was picked up when it clearly wasn't. Her and the pharmacist continued to make fun of me and I drove off with the correct medication after 10 minutes or arguing! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! I will be transferring all my prescriptions to another pharmacy. read more

This Pharmacy is a joke. Prescription called in at 10:30 am on a Friday. Went to pick it up at 4:00pm on Saturday and was told it wasn't ready!!!! How can this be? I was told to come back in 30 minutes. I returned an hour and a half later and they still didn't have it ready. Well, low and behold, they finally rooted around long enough to find it!!! I'll be darn. It was there all along?! The first clerk didn't even look for it. I will never, ever use this Pharmacy again!!!!!!! I sincerely hope they go out of business. Totally incompetent. Moving all prescriptions to RedStick Pharmacy on Hoo Shoo Too. A local business that cares. Good riddance. read more

I travel around the country and I always use Walgreens because I know that there will be a Walgreens in any town that I live in whether it's a inner city, suburban, or rural area there is a Walgreens . I've lived in several different places around the United States, and been to several Walgreens. The Walgreens in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on Highland and Airline is by far the absolute best. Walgreens I've ever been in, in my entire 51 years of existence. Every time I walk in the door, everybody says hello welcome to Walgreens and then they add my name to it. I know the night manager very well by just coming into the store, and we have some pretty good conversations along with the Night Shift staff that works there. The pharmacy at this Walgreens is the best pharmacy I have ever been to all the pharmacist knows me, all the pharmacy techs knows me. Pharmacy will call me to review my medicine every six months which I am gladly to do with them. They even caught a medicine that I was taking that with counteracting another medicine that the doctor gave me and they contacted me the next day to tell me about it. will never know, but that could've saved my life. The pharmacy staff is second to none and they do not lie to me either. I understand in a post Covid world that some medicines are not carried in the store that they need to be ordered and will be in the next day. That's just the world we live in now. But they are always honest with me about it . Which I appreciate honesty and integrity which this Walgreens pharmacy and store absolutely has. I am surprised this Walgreens on yelp is rated so low. I go in there at least 3 to 4 times a week for the last year and all I have seen is nothing but a family atmosphere working at this location . I've never seen any guest get upset yell scream or anything. If you're reading this and you used to go to this Walgreens , I'm begging you give it another chance. The people that work there at night because I've never been in during the day are genuine and wonderful and caring individuals. You will be satisfied. read more

The service is fairly good at the pharmacy, but they are extremely short handed during rush hours. There is usually a very long wait. I wish more people worked in the pharmacy section like the other location on Jones Creek, which I used to visit. read more

This location is very convenient for me, so I'm here a lot. I always look at the clearance area (end cap, back of the store, aisle one) and sometimes hit the jackpot! The store is always very clean and organized. read more

I only come here because it's the closest one to the house. They're always shorthanded with one person working in the pharmacy to cover inside the store and the drive-thru. Any time I come here I make sure I'm not in a hurry because it will take at least 15 minutes to pick up my prescription. I wish they can hire more people to work the pharmacy since that is their main business. read more

Every single time I have had a Rx sent here or dropped off by me .... there is always a problem ... They tell you it will be ready in an hour and a half so I wait 2 1/2 hours before returning ..... still not ready or even worst .... they can't even find it .... finally found it and it was never entered into the system .... so they want me to wait again!!!! This time I go inside and they are still not in any hurry .... I guess they do not care if they keep customers or not. I will be changing all my business to somewhere else!!!! Slowest drive thru pharmacy in BR. This hase been a common occurence over the last 6 months. I'm done. Siegen location much better.

DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY!!!! I had to make 4 trips regarding filling a prescription. I provided a discount card from the pharmecutical company for $10 for the prescription & when my husband went to pick up, he was told they were having insurance problems regarding the discount card. He left, I got a rude clerk on the phone who said they couldn't find the discount card. Without the card, the medicine was $143. I asked to speak to a manager who was going to call the girl who took my prescription to see what happened to the card. I told her I just wanted to get my doctors prescription & discount card back so I could go somewhere else. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!! This is why I usually use Messina's Pharmacy but he was out of the med. I never have these problems with Gerry Messina....best pharmacy in the Tiger Bend area. read more
