The people are chill ngl, but the dude that's been working there, not really sure of his role, but I'm assuming he's a cashier since that's where he's at most the time. Dude sucks. He has no interest in the customers, not sure what he cares about but it doesn't seem like he cares about his job. I don't live far from here so when others places are closed this place is where I go for convenience, however, lately I don't really wanna go in this place bc of old dude. Stopped in for a good coffee. I know what your probably saying, a gas station really?! Trust me I frequent a few Racetrac stations near home and they never fail me. So I went in to get me a little taste of coffee, but walked out with nothing. I tried 1, 2 but 3 machines and the coffee was coming out extremely diluted. On the west side of HWY 30 in Gonzales, just past the outlet mall is this Racetrack which seems lower in gas prices than the surrounding stations. I filled up, then went inside to get a beverage. The cashier on November 21, 2018 at about 11:30am was so friendly it was amazing. He was kind of cute as well. Any ways. The front of the station has plenty of gas pumps. There is easy access in and out. Inside of the store is well organized, neat and clean. I will happily drive past the stations closer to the exits for I-10 in the future to come here. read more

This location on LA Hwy 30 is just south of the entrance to Tanger Mall. I stop here for one reason and one reason only... CHEAPEST DIESEL PRICES (as a general rule) within Gonzales, LA and Ascension Parish. Even though I have filled up here numerous times I have never stepped foot inside the C-Store itself. However, after visiting numerous RaceTrac's around the state of Louisiana, I am sure this location has more than adequate options for water, soft drinks, coffee, beer and harder spirits behind the counter. Plus I am sure they carry all the usual suspects as it involves snacks both salty and sweet. Now what I do know is this location is very well lit with a large parking lot and a large number of dual sided pumps for squeezing that "push juice" into your vehicle so it will roll down the road. The entrance and exit are very user friendly even though there is no traffic light that controls one's ability to enter and exit it is a pretty painless experience overall. So if you want to save a little coin then fill up here if you are near this location. read more

PLEASE don't come here if you're high risk for coronavirus! I felt incredibly unsafe here - customers were not required or encouraged to wear masks (~4 were browsing completely unmasked), and both employees I observed were wearing their masks below the nose. My father (who was with me at the time) is high risk due to his immunosuppressant medication, so this experience was extremely unnerving. Very disappointed in the overall lack of discretion - don't come here, it's absolutely not worth the risk. read more

This location in Gonzales has a Winstation automatic lottery ticket vending machine, along with the standard counter lottery terminal in the front of the store. The staff is very friendly, and was happy that I was there. That whole area, the people are friendly which is important to me. I scanned a $20.00 winning scratch ticket at the Winstation, and got 3 additional $5.00 Win Big tickets, & 5 Lotto quick Picks. I also had a $100.00 winning scratch ticket, of which I got 10 more of the $10.00 Ready, Set, Gold from the counter. Of those, I ended up winning $90.00 which is almost unheard of. I like going to different RaceTrac stores with the Winstation to keep playing with wins. read more

One of the most impressive gas stations I've seen so far. Very busy so I was surprised to see "ratchet" cashiers. Big butts, no belts, long ghetto nails and shiny gold teeth. I love racetrack locations first for their great prices but also for their great stores. Plenty of good coffee options and the large beverage stations and frozen drink machines.
