After going inside it felt a little to small for my liking. I had to reroute myself several times just to look at items because of the people in here. I will give them this, it is nice and bright in the store and everything seemed organized and in place. I found my items and went to pay. The two employees working made it feel like anyone that was in the store was interrupting them and we should have just left without anything in our hands. It took a while be be rung up as the guy was having a full on conversation and slowly processing the transaction. What really bothered me was that even after you paid, it felt like they were waiting to accuse you of stealing something. My friends that came with me had already paid and were waiting there for me to finish. As I was going through my transaction they kept looking at my friends, who had already paid, like they wanted to accuse them so badly of stealing what they just paid for. The guy behind the counter said there would be a set-up in the back for sandwiches and coffee in a couple weeks. Hope this venture goes well because I miss those corner bodegas of NYC... I went into Walgreens with the intentions of buying 10 gift cards valued at 100$ each. So, they had two sets of 5 gift cards....they gave me 5 of them and I went along my way. After passing the gift cards out to my employees, they came back telling me that iTunes was giving them a message saying the cards were not authorized. I then call iTunes and they tell me to go back to the provider of the cards because the cards were never activated. I called Walgreens just to see if there's anything that might've went wrong during my transaction and they assured me that all the item numbers matched up with what was on my receipt. I call Apple and give them the message that I received from Walgreens and they told me that there's nothing they can do, so my only option was to head back to Walgreens. After discussing my issue with associates and assistant managers For a total of 20 minutes, one of the employees decide to go to the back and check for the old cards that never went through because of the $500 limit and there they were! The item numbers on the cards that were never given to be matched up to the ones that were on my receipt. So, all of that back-and-forth just because they gave me the wrong gift cards when I initially left the store. I spoke with Karina, the store manager, and she didn't really do much except for provide the district managers number. The three stars are for Kent Farmer... I went here to click photo for my passport that had very specific requirements. Dave went through the specs that I had taken with me printed and clicked the photo a couple times to make sure that they meet the specs. Though the photo that he clicked was exactly what I needed, unfortunately, their printer wasn't up to the mark. While we didn't take the printed photos, he let us take photos in the store with my phone camera (I have a passport booth app on my phone). He also suggested that I could print out photos from my phone at Target. I was able to get my photo printed at Target and send the photos to the embassy. Without Rite Aid I don't know what I would have done in such a short time as I had to submit the photos the very next day. Moreover my earlier photos were rejected and I didn't want them to be rejected this time. I have to say that the guys at this store are extremely nice. They are the best in the entire neighborhood.
