I've been here several times in the past few years for some basics: a hairdryer, a curler, etc. Recently I stopped by for a hairbrush because I broke my Dollar Store one in half. I forgot that Sally's tends to be a bit pricer than what you'd find online, and I'm only comparing the two because Sally's is a national chain. Also, because this specific space has been around for literally decades, it's a bit rundown/grimy inside. They do have fun promotions from time to time: BOGOs or "spend x-amount get blah blah blah for free" (for example, I once got an enormous travel bag from them for spending $75 [I think], and it was actually a really, really good bag [it's currently home to all my cross-stitching goods]). The brush I got - which is an "ultra detangling brush that leaves hair smooth and polished, good for wet or dry hair"- was $6 and the cheapest option they had (I just needed something to get the knots out and maybe not snap in half when I use it!).

I ended up having to go to the emergency room that evening for an exam. There was a square scratch on my cornea. Very painful and it took a week to clear up my vision. I had to go to a specialist 10 days after the event. I went back for my touch up since there was a glob on the bottom left lid and mismatched ending points on all four lines. Here I am a few months later. Eyeliner still doesn't match, eye to eye, ink has faded to grey green. So, for over $2,000, I have a poorly done eyeliner tatoo (this was not my first eyeliner tatoo ,we moved so I couldn't go back to my original lady who did such an amazing job), I lost a week of work and recreation due to the scratch and had terrible pain for several days. She will tell you this has never happened before, it must have been one of my eyelashes, etc. It happened while I was on her table, while she was working on my eyes. Accident or not all I get is a sorry, I can redo your liner. I will never trust her to do any work again.

I was SO pressured by her, that I did not have the time to do my usual investigation on my computer to see if CareCredit was a highly rated credit card or a bad predatory credit card. I was charged by the card immediately $50 for an appointment. I thought it was the law that a credit card cannot charge you for a service until the service is rendered. Well, CareCredit did. I called Permanent Makeup and spoke to someone who said they will take care of and take the $50 off. Well he did, but CareCredit charged me interest ON the $50 that was taken off, and CHARGED ME $31 in fees to open their credit card. CareCredit has 1 star in ratings and hundred if not thousands negative reviews!!!! DO NOT AGREE TO A CARECREDIT CARD if Ashleigh insists it's an easy way to pay for services at her store! SHE SHOULD BE ASHAMED FOR pushing this awful credit card on to her clients!!!!

My skin had been cracking and bleeding all winter and since getting the manicure my skin has been so smooth. All the staff are warm and welcoming. I look forward to going back to try a facial service. They had a lot of great products for sale as well, such as cosmetics and lotions, most that I looked at were vegan and cruelty free. Dentist visit made easy!…read more I despise having teeth work done. The noise, the pain, discomfort...not fun. So, making this appointment was a significant step as I hadn't been to the dentist in quite some time and last time I was living in a different state. I was initially told I'd have to make 2 separate appointments: one for xrays and evaluation, the next for the cleaning. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I was able to do all of this in one visit! Chelsea was my hygienist and she was amazing! Super gentle, explained everything she was doing during the xrays and evaluation and my teeth didn't hurt at all while she cleaned. I was so much more relaxed that I anticipated. Dr. Rose came in and evaluated quickly; I did have to come back for a few fillings...to be expected by me of course. Prices are fair I guess, as I do not have insurance. They do not accept payment plans however. I don't really mind this as I am more than pleased with my treatment and look forward to keeping up better with my dentistry by coming here.

The entire staff of Maple Way is so friendly and helpful, they truly go above and beyond to provide exceptional care. My hygienist does a very thorough job---and on the few occasions when I've had to see a different hygienist, and they have always been equally thorough. Dr. Rose is one of the kindest, warmest people you'll ever meet, and she is truly an exceptional dentist. In addition to standard dental care, she also does some cosmetic dentistry, and she did an incredible job creating crowns for my front teeth, resulting in a smile that I am often complimented on---prior to that, I was very self-conscious of my smile and always tried to keep my lips closed. I truly can't say enough about how happy we have been with this practice. We are now moving away out of state, and are so sad to leave Maple Way dentistry behind!
