I have LITERALLY NEVER HAD A WORSE EXPERIENCE WITH A PHARMACY. My partner is a T1 Diabetic and they are trying to ensure he dies. COUNTLESS times they have screwed up his insulin pump order. He has now been off of his pump for 3 days and will be for another 3 days because they continue to find new ways to make the situation worse. We called in the insulin pumps Last Friday, Wednesday, we get a call saying it requires another prior authorization. I explain to the lady, she must have submitted the wrong order. She argues, I ask who the prescribing doctor is, she tells me. I explain, that's the wrong RX, please look for the one filled by Dr. Graham. She argues, there's no RX here by that Doctor (that's a lie). I move on because she's adamant she's right, and I'm not looking at her screen. I call the doctors office, get the prior authorization approved. Pharmacy calls, they NEVER ORDERE THE RX TO BEGIN WITH. So now we have to wait two days. I go to pick it up on Friday, as it's ready. Guess what? They ordered the wrong medication, like I told that dimwit on the phone! And now it's going to take 3 days to order the correct one. I am BEYOND DONE. I call my local pharmacy and get all of our prescriptions transferred so they can order the RX and we can get it tomorrow. BUT NO, Walgreens waits a full day before sending the orders over and now we can't get the prescription until Monday. So he will now have been off of his Insulin pump for 6 Full days due to the Gross Negligence of the pharmacy staff here. I will NEVER be coming back. If you or your loved one require life saving medication. Look elsewhere, because Walgreens will do everything they can to k*ll you. read more

Horrible! A prescription was ordered at 6 pm by my doctor and they didn't fill it until the next day, even though they were open till 9pm. People get prescriptions like mine at night because they are in pain. This is terrible service. read more

First off all the pharmacist are super nice and informative. The pharmacist helpers are another story. They seem to fight with each other and just in general give poor customer service. If it wasn't for this pharmacy being the only one that will give the series of 4 rabies vaccinations I wouldn't have gone there. It was also odd that each vaccine cost $449.99 but the 3rd shot was $50 more. They Wouldnt say why. The other awful thing they did was on my very last shot they gave it to someone else even tho they knew I was coming in for it. I would think having spent $2000 for this series of vaccines that need to be given in succession to one another that they wouldn't have forced me to wait over a week to get the last one. This Walgreens is impossible to reach by phone. They never answer, and if you do get through, you're left on hold for 20+ minutes--only to be transferred and put back on hold again just to speak with the pharmacist. Honestly, it's faster to drive there in person than waste your time calling. Save yourself the frustration. read more

i never take time to write reviews like this, but Fred is truly exceptional. I used to work at Nordstrom, so i know high end world class service and hes it. He has provided me great customer service at the photo department and the front register on many occasions. Today there was about 10 people in line for the front register, people were getting frustrated. Fred was the only staff in the store. He respectfully assured everyone he would take care of us promptly and followed through! Thanks Fred! read more

Spent 30 minutes on the phone on hold trying to get through to a human to confirm if my prescription was ready. When I mentioned this to the pharmacist she said "We're understaffed so things are taking longer than usual." I responded that there was nothing unusual about them taking a long time. It's their norm. What would be unusual? To be able to pick up a prescription from this store in under 15 minutes. read more

Photo shop failed! I have old Kodachrome slides (1960s) that need developed. Took to Walgreens. 2 weeks later, I checked and they couldn't find them. A few days later, they called me. Found them but needed me to complete a short form. 4 weeks later, I went in to see if ready and THE SLIDES WERE NEVER PROCESSED. So glad I waited for NOTHING. Never again! read more

This is usually an amazing pharmacy but today 3/11 at 2:30pm they finally acted like every other pharmacy there is. Their phone system didn't recognize me so I went in and she acted like I was insane for coming in to do a refill. Then I was confused about what days I could pick up what and she was very rude as if I am a pharmacy worker and I know what's going on. I didn't get her name but she needs to do better. Also she was on her personal phone when I walked up and I had to wait for her. A very nice boomer lady. read more

On Wednesday March 2nd my boyfriend got 3 of his wisdom teeth takin out. We were all the way in Arden about a 45 minute drive from home and needed a Walgreens with a drive threw close to home. Bc he could not go inside. We arrived at the Walgreens and waiting in line for 30minutes with the same two car in front of us. So all together about 1 and 15 minutes that should be enough time to get medicine together. Unfortunately when we pulled up to the window are meds were still not ready and they said it would be another hour. I said okay and said is it okay if I go home drop my boyfriend off and I just come back to pick up the pills. The lady said yes, I took my boyfriend home and about an hour I get a call saying his meds are ready. I go to the counter ask for the meds. They lady with gray curlyish hair with a stout like body says oh those are not ready sorry. I have never looked at anyone like this I was so mad and frustrated. I had told her I had received a call saying the meds where ready. She said thats a robot they are never correct it's about another 30 minutes. And said wait wtf why would you call me then. She had said they do not control the robot. I said can I at least pay for them, she said my pharmacist is not here and I can not reales any meds or cash u out. I was on the verge of tears at this point. My boyfriend is in pain and and they could care less. Taking there time just standing there doing nothing. The only reason I have given them one star was for the thin lady with her gray hair in a bun. Who said once the pharmacist is back you will be the first one up. And she was trying to calm me down by being friendly. read more

I went into Walgreens to pick up a prescription that was already made up. I was only third in line and one person was already being helped. I stood in line for over an hour to pick up a prescription that should've taken me 10 minutes. The employee couldn't figure out how to run the check through the machine the prescription had to be checked again by the pharmacist. It was all together a very painful experience. I understand employee shortages but perhaps the store should be closed until they can provide basic services. read more

Slowest damn service I've ever had at ANY pharmacy.

DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY! especially if you have young children or a baby. I have given them multiple chances and every single time there is an issue. Whether they can't find my prescription, they take 12 hrs to fill a standard prescription or waiting an HOUR (not exaggerating at all) in the drive through to get the prescription. Their staff move so incredibly slowly and have zero professionalism. They stand around with blank looks on the faces and are completely incompetent. I will not spend a dime at Walgreens for the rest of my life because of how atrocious this place is. read more

Made an appointment at 1pm for my COVID shot and flu shot. I didn't receive my shots till 2:45. The lady behind the counter is absolutely rude. Every time I'm here the guest service is crap I've had guest taken in front of me when I'm there waiting longer . Employees Refused to even wear mask properly while helping guest. Refuse to say my name properly, even after being corrected properly. Racist places. I also ended up with another patients paperwork, so I'm pretty sure that patient ended up with me private information. I do not recommend this place to anyone. The drive through pharmacy is so incredibly slow!!!! I've been sitting in line for at least a half an hour now. It is always like this.

What a mess at this Walgreens to get the Booster shot! Mom is 86 snd been waiting over an hour after having an appointment! One person waited 2hours!! Such an incompetent process here! Poor elderly people at 8pm waiting and waiting snd waiting! It's only the pharmacist would've come out and spoke to the people in the waiting room. But no one said anything! After waiting in the drive thru line for twenty minutes, I was informed that controlled substances are not filled until after 10am and that my husband's Rx would not be ready until after 11:30. Even though the prescription was called in the night before from the ER??? At my pharmacy they at least offer that you wait while they fill It. So sorry husband with broken bones. You are out of luck until this afternoon and I get to drive the 30 mins back to auburn. Just terrible, uncaring and unorganized place. I switched years ago and had hoped this place had gotten better. This store is really nice because it is practically brand new! The isles are stocked full every time I am there, and the isles seem to be placed in a strategic order and marked well so that things are easier to find. The beauty section here is HUGE! They even carry jewelry, a huge selection of designer brand perfumes and colognes, and even a huge selection of knock off replicated scents. I have been here a handful of time and have seen several different checkers and each of them have been helpful and nice. Each time I am seen browsing through the many choices in the beauty section I am approached by and employee that lets me know that I can check out in the beauty department without any wait. Their selection of grocery items and even freezer food is adequate. I love their "as seen on TV" isle, their seasonal isle that always has great sales and discounts, and their designer travel size section for hair products. read more

Worst pharmacy service ever. I have been a customer for about 8 years and every month that I come to get my meds I know it's going to be a long wait time. Yesterday they received my prescription electronically at 2:10 pm and my prescription wasn't ready until about 6:30, unbelievable. I actually feel that had I not gone in they wouldn't have filled it yesterday. All of the customers waiting before me got turned away at the window with the clerk saying " your prescription is not ready " same at the drive thru. When my prescription was finally ready I pay go outside to my car and review what I just picked up. I noticed that my one prescription is not a 30 day supply only about 18 days worth. So I then get out of my car to go back inside and stand in line again. I now have to ask to speak with the pharmacist and take her away from what she's doing to question the split prescription and verify that I can get the balance when I need it. She says" yes just call us before you run out and we'll fill it". I used to be a pharmacy technician and either the pharmacist usually comes and tell you if anything is different with your prescription or tells the clerk to relay the message and nothing was said to me. I noticed it myself after getting to my car. I'm definitely changing pharmacies. My time is important and I'm a patient person since I've been dealing with this for over 8 years but no more. It's a terrible pharmacy. They are under staffed and definitely not trained for the position they are holding. When you do actually get thru on the phone after hold for 45 minutes or longer they don't listen to your question(s). I had to bring that up the other day when calling to inquire about my medication and the clerk was like " yeah your prescriptions ready". I had to mention again that the one ready was not the one I was calling about. Worst pharmacy ever. They need more pharmacists and properly trained staff. I actually came on a Sunday once to get my medications and the pharmacy was closed all day because the pharmacist called in sick and there wasn't a replacement for her. Unbelievable! Do yourself a favor and stay away from this one. CVS is looking better and better and they suck to. I didn't even want to give the one star rating but you can't post a review otherwise. read more

ZERO stars! My doctor requires a Covid test before I can see him even though I had the vaccine. I scheduled an appointment at Walgreens in Auburn and we literally sat in line for ONE HOUR. There were 7 cars in front of us so what are they doing requesting an RX and waiting while it's filled?!!! Even if each car was getting a Covid test it would not take this long! Why they continue to employ a cashier who illegally charges or claims no more plastic bags will be given out you must buy a reusable is still working there after several complaints makes me really question the management here... Ok ok ok is there some memo that gets passed out to pharmacy employees here in Auburn that say, "Please move at the slowest time possible with all customers and don't bother to acknowledge or greet them even if they are right in front of you. More importantly forget all the other pharmacies you've worked for in ALL other towns that process the same prescription in half the time, because this is a small town and all the pharmacies here process this slow too therefore we don't want to make them mad if we were to process faster than them!" SERIOUSLY!!!! I've used Walgreens drive through for ten years in roseville and never once have experienced the same CONSTANT delays I've had at this location.... My favorite part was they have a sign on the window that says now you can buy these items in the drive through: aspirin, Tylenol, etc. so I said of great can I please have Tylenol and the girl was like what we don't carry that back here you'll Have to come in. I said your sign right there says we can order it through drive through. So she attempted to peel the sticker sign to read it herself and when she couldn't she goes I don't even know what that says. I drove half an hour to print out pictures and they got messed up twice. I paid about 3 dollars for tiny pictures they advertised badly. The woman was rude and unhelpful. I tried to get wallet sized pictures and they came out 4 x 6 and when I told the lady this, she told me to make new ones. I made new pictures and got them printed and paid another 3 dollars for the supposed wallet sized pictures. I should've checked right there but I checked when I got home and they were 4x5.3 . Ridiculous. Called and told them the issue, thank you to the manager for being helpful and fixed the problem. Will be picking up the pictures tomorrow. read more

Terrible terrible terrible. If you can avoid using this pharmacy, you will do yourself a huge favor and maybe even live longer due to lower stress. Worst customer service I have ever experienced from a pharmacy. Hold times are FOREVER (it's like calling the government!); you get phone hold pseudo-music and continual robot apologies, then it rings, then they pick it up and immediately put you back on hold again. Then, most of the time it starts ringing again and frequently they pick up the phone and immediately hang up on you. When they do pick up and actually talk to you, if that ever happens, the employees often act like you are a nuisance. What about if you go into the store or wait in the drive through? Wait times for both are FOREVER too. If you try to use their automated phone system, it is rife with logic errors and totally unhelpful, especially if you wind up landing with one of the Philippines customer reps. One more comment... My review is not based on one or two experiences, I was forced to deal exclusively with the Auburn Walgreens last year by my health plan (2021) and over and over again, the above situations occurred. Now, in Sept of 2022, I made the mistake of asking my doctor to send my prescription to this Walgreens because, with GoodRX, they were the cheapest. Now I am going through all of this trauma again. Should have paid an extra 50 cents and gotten it at Costco! read more

The store part itself is neat, clean and looks alright, though it takes awhile to check out sometimes; The Pharmacy had a young woman at the drive through that looked like they had too many energy drinks or were on drugs, even to the mannerisms, or maybe had them the night before or so They also lost a prescription and then provided a big hassle about that fact; Rough experience ; Other times, it was helpful otherwise it would have received zero if possible; there were a few other instances, but you just don't lose prescriptions in electronic systems then lie about it; period; If I go back and if it improves, I'll update the review; It's the staff read more
