Walgreens has a new manager at the ashburn branch on claiborne parkway, and let me tell you SHE IS A ROCKSTAR. Her name is Weam. she is helping so many customers and still killin it at the fed ex dropoff. when there is a busy line at the checkout, she actually ran to the item and scanned the right one so the customer could get the deal as advertised. She is always so friendly and helpful to me and her staff and any customer with a ? or a concern. Shes an absolute Gem. So much better than the last manager they had there. read more

I went to this Walgreens to pick up a new prescription from my doctor and to refill my blood pressure medication. When I arrived, I greeted a young man at the counter and explained that my doctor had sent in a new prescription yesterday, and that I also needed to refill my blood pressure medication since I had completely run out. He checked the computer and told me there was no new prescription on file, and that my blood pressure medication required a new prescription from my doctor. I politely asked if it would be possible to get a couple of pills to hold me over until the doctor sent the new prescription, as I had none left. He replied, "Okay, wait a moment, I'll be right back," and went to speak with a lady behind the counter. The lady then came to me and asked, "How can I help you?" I explained the same situation that I had a new prescription from yesterday and needed a refill for my blood pressure medication. She checked the computer and said she would send a request to my doctor for a new prescription. I then repeated that I had completely run out of my medication and asked if I could have a couple of pills to hold me over. Her response was, "I'm not giving you anything," and she added that there was no new prescription on file for me. She also mentioned that if there were a prescription from any Walgreens location, it would appear in their system. At that point, I showed her my phone, where the new prescription was clearly listed. She looked again and said, "You do have a new prescription, but it's a cream, and it has already been picked up." I told her that couldn't be correct, since I had just received that prescription yesterday. She checked again and said, "Okay, I'll get your new prescription ready. Give me a minute." I kindly repeated my request for a couple of pills until my new prescription was ready. She finally agreed to give me two pills, which I appreciated. However, my concern is the tone and manner in which she spoke to me . it came across as dismissive and unprofessional. I still wonder what the young man told her before she came to speak with me. Throughout the interaction, I remained calm and respectful because I understand how important good communication and patience are in customer service. Still, I left feeling disappointed by how I was treated. I also work in customer service, and I know how challenging it can be, but kindness and professionalism make a big difference. I believe Walgreens should continue reviewing and reinforcing customer service standards with employees. I'm sure I'm not the only customer who has experienced this kind of behavior, and it's important for the company to address it. The pharmacy. My prescription is never in stock. (Common drug) I will get robot calls telling me to come in and pick up and then find out...only 5 pills in stock. There is never any acknowledgment this is an issue. I was called this previous time and told the drug was out of stock, and to call them back...when I called them back...was told they could half fill the prescription. This is a common drug. No alarms on the medication. Walgreens is a chain...they should figure this out. read more

Avoid this Walgreens at all costs. After a loved one passed suddenly I ordered some pictures and they arrived damaged. I came to the store and explained the painful situation and they told me (the photo clerk and the manager) since it had been five days since I ordered them, no returns. They counted the delivery time and Thanksgiving as two of those days. No exceptions. I was disappointed and told them I would place another order somewhere else. As I put the pictures back into the delivery envelope the manager tried to stop me from leaving, trying to charge me again. "Hey buddy you have to pay for those!" The callousness and disrespect was unbelievable. I told him I had obviously already paid as they were delivered to me and I was trying to return them (unsuccessfully) and he said, "Sorry bro I didn't know" and shrugged as I walked out. That will be my last time visiting this location. Our family is moving any prescriptions and we will drive the extra mile or so to shop somewhere that has basic human decency. read more

Beware! WORST PHARMACY IN ASHBURN! This pharmacy is CONSTANTLY changing their hours to accommodate themselves instead of customers. They are now not open on Sundays and close at 7:00. They did this and put the smallest sign in the drive thru window while putting a HUGE one saying that a pharmacist wasn't available... NOT THEIR HOURS CHANGED! So two days in a row I left work early to pick up my Rx and they were closed. The third day, I got there in time but they had already put back my Rx bc I didn't pick it up in time BECAUSE THEY SUDDENLY CHANGED HOURS WITH INADEQUATE SIGNAGE! I had been there for the past TWO DAYS! Horrible! On top of that, they constantly lose Rx's that my Dr. Sends in and their refills. There are always new, incompetent people working there that don't know how to read the comp system. If you value your health... go ANYWHERE else! read more

It's kind of hard to give 1 star to a drug store, but the pharmacy section at this store is the absolute worst. Multiple folks behind the counter, yet the lines grow long while they're doing something else. (I have no idea what). Go somewhere else. This place only leads to a need for more medication, particularly a tranquilizer. read more

Poorly ran and operated. Wait time for normal pay and exit can take quite awhile, as this location has few cashiers available. Pharmacy is a mixed bag. Some will go out of their way to help, others will simply tell you whatever you need to hear to get you to leave. Asking second and third questions after hearing "we don't have your prescription ready" is a necessity to avoid returning. read more

Walgreens Goose Creek Ashburn has the most rude pharmacy team I have ever encountered. I will never ever use them again, would rather burn gas and drive 20min to avoid their rude attitudes and snarly responses to questions. read more

If there was a 0 star, that's what I'd leave this store. Today was the third time in the last 2 weeks that the pharmacy has been "temporarily closed." So I call the store to see when it may re-open, and they had no clue. Then they transferred me to another store near by that could fulfill my prescription, but it was not the right store and they transferred me to someone else who told me they had no stores in VA. I will never use this pharmacy again. Most of the staff is incredibly rude as well. Unreliable, rude and incompetent. Great combo Walgreens! read more

Nope. I went in with my wife yesterday to pick up some supplies, looking at coffees and some other essentials. Many of the products we picked up had "sell by dates" that were more than 6 months out of date (I'm looking at you, coffee selection!). Other food had expired with labels dating back towards the end of 2013. First time here, last time here. I get that sell by dates don't necessarily mean the product is bad, but there is a point. Half a year past is pushing it. Never mind the food that WAS expired. read more

I called this pharmacy yesterday November 11 around 9:40 am inquiring about Covid testing information for an upcoming international travel. I asked to speak with the pharmacist after the technician couldn't answer my question related to QR code. First the technician was rude, cutting me off a lot mid sentence when asking other questions but seems to have an attitude when I asked to speak with the pharmacist. She told me that the pharmacist will not tell me anything more than what she had already told me. I still asked to speak with the pharmacist which she finally transferred me to after a while holding on the line. Pharmacist came and first thing she said was that she heard the conversation and that she can't tell me anything more than what was previously discussed. This was before I could even ask a question. When I finally got a word in, I told her the technician couldn't answer my question on QR code and that she had no idea what it was. The pharmacist then proceeded to finally answer that question and told me the pharmacy does not provide QR code for the testing. So finally she answered the question and that's all I wanted to know. However, why the aggressiveness of a pharmacist toward a customer that is simply calling to get information? I hope the company takes action and at least provides some basic customer service skills to these employees. If I could give this site a zero star, I would have. read more
