In January I went to return a couple items. With a receipt...The cashier that began the return proceeded to tell me the items have already been returned. I'm thinking what, no they haven't...you need to try that again. She said again these items are coming up already returned. We can not take them. I asked to speak with a manger. Another cashier comes up, not a manager and just stands by what the original cashier stated. So after going back and forth for about 15 mins I ask to speak with the real manager. I male comes up and we proceeded to explain the issue. These items have not already been returned. He states we need to go to the original Walgreen's where we purchased the items, well that would be PA. and we live in MD. We really didn't understand what was going on. Mind you everyone is looking at us like are trying to pull a scam or something the line is now extremely long getting dirty looks etc...After another 10 mins of going back and forth with the manager he finally tries to do the return himself. Low and Behold it goes through with no issue!!! So the original cashier screwed up!! Making us look like we were trying to pull a scam or something. I have never been so embarrassed. I hope they put that cashier in a training class so she doesn't do that to anyone else. Not good Walgreens not good! read more

I would give negative if I could. this place is so unfriendly and disrespectful. they told me that my perception was done and came a hour later to pick it up to not pester them and they said you have to come back later to pick it up. they also told me to loop around the pharmacy to get my prescription. What a disaster. Yesterday I had my doctor call in a prescription for me as this was the closest pharmacy to my temporary residence. That call was made at 130 pm so I waited until 330 to inquire about the status. Being a new customer, my "profile " was no in their system rendering their automated system useless, but that was just the beginning. I went to the store and found it to be short staffed and in a complete state of confusion. Ultimately they closed the drive thru and suggested that I go to another Walgreens for the completion of my prescription. AVOID this PHARMACY if you value your time and sanity. read more

I can't believe how slow this pharmacy is. I waited in line at the drive thru from 2:47pm until 3:10 when I finally got to speak to someone. They specifically told me the prescription wouldn't be ready until 2:30, so I don't show up early to pester them. Then they told me one of the prescriptions wasn't ready and I had to around and come in. When I got in they told me they didn't even have the medicine. WHAT? Why would you not call me to tell me so I wasn't waiting for something you couldn't fulfill? Clearly they are understaffed. This is not the first time the wait inside or at the drive thru has been slow. I thought that it was a fluke last time but this must just be how they run the place. Disappointing. Walgreens upper management has some issues they need to figure out, they obviously have too much for their staff to handle. I watched numerous customers barking at the staff when its obvious they cannot change whatever guidelines they have to follow. Give the pharmacist a break, she has these rules to follow that were not made by her. You people treat the staff like shit and somehow she remains kind with an overload of work to service you. Walgreens upper management needs to help with this issue, there is nothing the pharmacy staff can do to change the rules of their job. Maybe if you aren't a dick and prepare for the fact that you may not be able to get your drugs right away then they'd be able to do their job without the stress. Absolute worst customer service in existence. Doesn't matter when you call or try to get a hold of them, you can't, they will pick up the phone and immediately place you on hold for hours or they will mute their ringer until the system eventually disconnects. They can also never get the single prescription that I have there right, they constantly fill it wrong so I have to call every single time I get my prescription refilled and I have to set a few hours aside for the task. Take your business elsewhere. Awful customer service every time I go. The Pharmacy is even worse. The tech had me on hold and would hang up and then I would call back. Went on for 3 hours. The manager was rude and obviously had no clue how to run her staff. She basically told me that the COVID vax was more important. People rely on day to day meds that actually work and that should be your priority. Hire more people or at least apologize for the terrible service you provide. Rudest pharmacy staff in Harford County always. They have extremely long wait times, I usually wait two days and go in during off hours to pick up my prescription and I still can't get good service. I only have one prescription filled here, the rest are at Kleins, Klien's (shoprite) is 100x better. read more

I waited over 3 hours for my daughter's medication to be filled. Once i got there I witnessed the pharmacy tech eating chips behind the counter. The pharmacist finally acknowledged me after standing there for 10 minutes. She asked the pharmacy tech to fill the medication for me. I watched the pharmacy tech start to fill the medication (without washing her hands after eating chips). She then proceeded to pull her mask down and use her hands to wipe her mouth. Then, once again without washing her hands, she continued to fill the medication. She handed the bottle to the pharmacist which was apparently bottle they pour medicine out of into the individual bottles. So the pharmacist had to fill the medication correctly. You would think it would be common sense to wash your hands after eating or touching your face, especially with a pandemic going on. I will NEVER get another prescription filled at this Walgreens. read more

Some of the friendliest and most helpful staff I've met. The pharmacy is a little slow but it appears to be because they're so busy all the time. Being the only 24 hr pharmacy around can have that effect. Prices are better than CVS and close to half the prices at Rite Aid. Location is a little hard to get out of since there's no easy way to exit and turn left onto Emmorton Rd, but that's not too big a deal. All our Rxs are here; and being Type 1 diabetic with a wife who has a chronic neurological disorder: that's quite a few. They always handle things correctly and professionally; and are always quite friendly. read more
