I've been a Wawa fan since I went to college in the Philly area nearly 25 years ago. I babysat for a Wawa exec then, who hooked me up with lots of free hoagie coupons that gave me a break from instant ramen when I was broke college student. I was among the first to test out their vanguard kiosk ordering system, which replaced pencil and paper ordering then. I was unofficially a Wawa mystery shopper, reporting back on my experience around the Philly suburbs. I grew to be a Wawa connoisseur over the years. I have favorites, ones I routinely stop at on road trips up/down i-95, and ones I outright avoid. My two cents: This is a great Wawa location! Super clean--even on a Sunday of a holiday weekend, the bathrooms and drink areas were clean and orderly. The staff here were friendly and helpful. The service was wonderfully quick. Love the inflatable food-shaped rafts (burger, pizza, etc) they decorate with here that adds a fun and playful vibe. Great music too. It's a winning i-95 stop. This one is open 24/7, has gas, and lots of grassy area for puppies or kids to stretch their legs. It also has a surprising amount of Tesla charging stations. Pro-tip: Get a small mac-n-cheese, medium chili. Special request a large empty extra container. Mix together in that large cup for a truly awesome chili mac for about $8. Jess is such a sweetheart. Such great energy and vibrant personality at 12:37 am. She noticed my veil (i got married this morning, er yesterday) and was so enthusiastic and bubbly. We're currently drivig south from NYC and we are exhausted, but her chipper disposition and high energy actually charged our batteries enough to make it to our first destination. My husband (teehee) thought she was really sweet as well.We've stopped thru before but we will be certain to look for her next trip. We've added this location to our gps. The store is clean, the bathroom was in great shape and the rest of the staff seemed nice. read more

I'm from the west coast, where gas station food is... your last resort. But Wawa is amazing! Like a grocery mini mart, coffee shop, sandwich and snacks shop: all in one!! The workers are nice and helpful! The food makers and drink mixers are very helpful. AND the price point is very reasonable! Everyone is respectful and happy to be there. Wawa can be a lot of things to many, for me this location is a Coffee Bar that wears many hats. The coffee choices here are many as are the coffee condiments, I was a little taken back to be honest so out of shear boredom I did a few calculations using the of number of different coffees on tap and the number of different condiments available, it came out to 12,870 combinations, now I understand why I was having difficulty making up my mind on what I wanted and it had nothing to do with it being after midnight and I had been on the road for more than 8 hours. There was a lovely young lady wiping up the counter when she noticed I was staring at the options and offered a recommendation - "Cinnamon Bun" and I'm sure it's delicious but I was looking for a higher octane blend so I settled for a combination of the 100% Colombian, Cuban Roast and Winter Blend with a splash of full strength half & half. I tell you this place looked great even on the late shift there is no doubt this store is well managed. The staff here is so friendly, everyone was busy but still took the time to interact with the customers, most whom seemed familiar to them. I noticed the property's exterior was as well maintained as the interior as I enjoyed my wonderful coffee standing outside my rental and recharging for the second leg of my drive. Don't go to this or any other wawa. I've had my credit card jacked 2 times from this location. When went there a year after the second time, I found a credit card reader at the pump. Either management & the employees are in on it or they do an extremely poor job maintaining & monitoring their equipment. Be forewarned. read more

It is a Wawa , so I like it already. In Arizona they have Quick Trips (or QT). The two stores are similar. I must say the inconsistency with Wawa's has been my biggest pet peeve here on the east coast. It is like the plan for each store is the same, but the differences between them are apparent. One of the things about this wawa is people don't say hi to you. Yes it is a high traffic area, but still......:-) The coffe area is nice, and they have a nice cold food area. I wish there were more ready to go sandwiches, for people who don't have the time to wait in line at the deli. I love the soups, and the cool fountain drink machine.........all in all ... Recently remodeled, always friendly service. I have issues getting gasoline sometimes though. The pumps will cut off after only a couple gallons of gas, nowhere near a full tank. But their food is good, the inside is always clean, and overall I love this wawa. read more

It's not that this WaWa is particularly bad as compared to any Wawa. I just find WaWa to be overrated. I have friends who SWEAR by their hoagies, but I've never gotten a good sub at WaWa, and have stopped trying. This weekend, my wife and I stopped in to get a gift card for her sister's birthday, and I decided to get a latte. The coffee at Sheetz is pretty good, and I was optimistic that WaWa would be at or near that level. Instead, what I got makes McCafe look like Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee. Nasty, barely drinkable ... worst latte EVER. But I won't throw it the dreaded one star ... if you like WaWa, this isn't any better or worse than others. They stay pretty busy, there's almost never a pump open, and the store is clean. But for me ... I'm a Sheetz guy I guess :-) read more

This wawa is SO. SLOW. The kids at the deli spend most of their time talking instead of making peoples food. It should not take 30 minutes for me to get my sandwich even if they're busy. The girl at the deli today really needs more training, she did not know what she was doing. She was constantly asking what things were and what number the orders were. read more

Recently remodeled this Wawa is a beautiful store. The staff behind the food counter are quick and courteous. Susan is the model for what all Wawa employees should aspire to be like. Make sure to get and use the app for your phone. By using their prepaid cards you can earn all kinds of rewards. They have excellent "case" salads and wraps. I'm usually really happy with wawa but not lately. I got a bagel a couple weeks ago. They lost my ticket. An employee noticed me and a guy waiting. He asked us what were ordered, made the guy's food then went on break and just left me there waiting. So after waiting longer, I finally asked and they didn't even have my ticket. Then today I ordered the same thing and there was hardly any cream cheese. I don't expect a 5 star meal but how hard is it to toast a bagel and slap some cream cheese on it? read more

Ahhh Wawa. The smell of deli meats in the air, the coffee percolating, the gasoline pumping. Wawa was the convenience store of my childhood, and I will forever be fathful. I will fight to the death defending Wawa against that roadside hovel, Sheetz. Seriously, though, I don't know why this Wawa has such bad reviews. I have been coming here for two years (it's next to my work), and I have never had anything less than a good experience. They always have fairly good gas prices. They are situated right off I95 for easy travel access. They have a full deli, Wawa dairy products, endless coffee options, and a really good ready-made food island that boasts a wide variety of snack items, including CANNOLI CHIPS WITH DIP (WHAT!? AMAZING!!!), hummus, individually-wrapped pickles, various fruits, sandwiches, salads, BUFFALO CHICKEN DIP snack pack, and a number of other creative choices. They have Tastycake, which is pretty important to this PA native. They have fresh donuts (the good ones sell out early). They have, of course, Wawa-brand beverages. Their iced tea is fantastic, and cheap. I could keep going and going! I love me some Wawa, and this particular location has never steered me wrong. read more

I'm a frequent flier at this wawa. I never have issues. However, I have to give it 3 stars because of the quesadilla I ordered last night. I ordered a chicken, cheese quesadilla with salsa. I added extra cheese and guacamole. The guacamole was put INSIDE before being toasted.... I have never in my life had that before. Usually guacamole comes on the side..... The "extra cheese" was nothing extra. Nor was the cheese even melted. When I asked for sour cream, I was rudely told "we don't have that" and was dismissed. I will never be ordering this again. So I visited the Abingdon Wawa's location to use the atm while there ai decided to purchase 2 juices cashiers was great however I go to family dollar directly after to make a purchase and was told the $10 bill I gave them was counterfeit so I called Wawa's and was told when a customer leave the store it's nothing they can do as a customer I feel that is unacceptable if I make a purchase in a store and accept change I'm under the impression I'm receiving real money I'm not walking around with a marker to check each bill I receive someone in Wawa's should have did their due diligence in making sure all the bills they receive was real I was then told they don't have markers they won't know a bill is fake until the money is dropped how stupid is that so someone can just go in Wawa's with fake bills and they accept them basically I asked to run the cameras at that point I was told we still don't know if that's our bill at this point it's not about the money or the amount it's principle and as a customer I shouldnt have to deal with being given fake money from a large corporation as Wawa's and nothing being able to be done about it I will also be calling corporate and make sure I blast them on every website possible cause it's just ridiculously read more
