I feel like they could easily avoid this by sending you the paperwork/questionnaire to be filled out before your appointment date like all of the other healthcare offices I am a patient at do. So I had to take off work for 2 hours in order to make the time of 30 min arrival time. What was most frustrating is the Dr. Geffen entered my exam room 25 min AFTER my appointment time. This is not right. If they expect you to be 30 min early to your appointment, they should have to same courtesy to be on time for your appointment. The Doctor's time is valuable but so is mine. I feel like Dr. Geffen wasn't really listening to me. Sure he looked briefly at my nose and ears and spent all of 5 minutes with me. He just assured me that he didn't see any signs of congestion but if things changed to contact him. The office and exam room was clean. The lobby had several patients chatting with one another. My insurance wasn't overcharged. The office charged my insurance $206 for an examination. If I need services again for congestion or GERD, I would probably give them another chance to see if this was just an off experience. I think I would request to see Dr. Vidya though as he seemed like the office favorite Dr.

Dr. Tseng correctly diagnosed me with Gerd. And even better he prescribed an over-the-counter medication, Mucinex, to help control it. The last time I saw him I told him my Gerd had gotten worse. He immediately asked me if I had gained weight. I told him I had gained 8 pounds. Apparently, weight gain causes Gerd to worsen. To save me money, he prescribed another over-the-counter med, Priolosec. Not only does Dr. Tseng correctly diagnose problems he prescribes money-saving meds to treat them. Got me signed in and I was seen promptly. Dr. Coffey gave me an initial exam and then sent me to the in-house audiologist, where she tested my hearing and tympanic membranes (?) - which came back normal. Then I saw Dr. Coffey again and he gave me some recommendations for my concerns, explained the products he was recommending, showed me examples of how they worked and took into consideration my preference for using less medication rather than more when possible. Overall everyone at the office just had super nice attitudes and was pleasant to work with. I think this was their first day of being officially open so they had a few technological glitches, but nothing that impacted me in any meaningful way. I will definitely return if I have any more issues in the future with my ears, nose or throat!
