All she could do was be dismissive and uninterested. This is disgusting and not how empathy is shown. She never once said she is sorry he is experiencing so many awful ENT issues, that she wishes him well, nothing! Even when she knew that her office couldn't accept our insurance, she never once wished him and I well, or offered any kindness in lieu of the situation. I took her to another doctor the next day who looked at her throat, said it was red and had white spots which shouldn't happen when on antibiotics and gave her a mono test which came out positive. Dr. Vaidya was personable and had the kind of approach to health problems that I always hope for in a doctor. He was easy to talk to, listened to my symptoms, and asked questions that helped jog my memory about a symptom I'd forgotten to mention. I always want my doctor to be something like a detective, talking about what might be causing the symptoms and explaining the solutions they're considering. Dr. Vaidya did that and was open to my questions and comments. I was also impressed that he had a preliminary diagnosis and recommendation, but as we talked further, he reconsidered and did a test he'd initially decided against but felt had merit after all.
