The care I received at UNC Urgent Care was outstanding. I was seen promptly, received excellent medical care and I was treated with kindness and compassion. Friendly, professional, supremely competent, I would recommend UNC Urgent Care to anyone and everyone. I hope I don't have any more broken bones or medical emergencies but if I need urgent care, this will be one of my top choices. I completed the paperwork and didn't have to sit again as the insurance approval came through and they took me to exam room. The timing, once registered, to being shown to exam room and between the person coming in to take my information on the laptop and the PA to begin her diagnosis, was as to be expected. A good click. The wait to go for x ray was short enough after a conversation with the PA. Then I sat for 2+ hours in pain, after several positions and xrays, while they waited for a radiologist to read my x rays. Although, every 15 to 20 minutes, someone poked their head in the door to see if I was okay, that wait was too long. By the time I was back in my car, it was 1 o'clock. I only chose that location as it was the closest when the injury happened. I live 30 min from there. Luckily, there is no fracture. Everyone was nice, friendly, and acknowledging my wait, but still. Saw 2 other patients as I left.

The staff is friendly here and when you check in they will pull up your doctor's orders and get your insurance all set up to pay for the labs. The only issue is this is billed as a hospital charge rather than a labs charge so that means a bigger expense with my insurance. Your plan might not bill you differently. There are a few chars in the waiting area and in the back there are 4-5 chairs where they will take your blood. All your information is verified again before they start. My veins are difficult but I have had good experiences here with the phlebotomists finding a good vein to use. So that is why I don't get too bothered when I am sent to this lab even though it costs a little more.

I was made to feel like a child. I finally said "you seem agitated is there a problem?" "No problem" she drew my blood and I said "thank you again have a great day" "yeah". As I was getting ready to walk in about 20 minutes prior to my appointment, an employee called to ask if I was still coming. I told her I was in the lot and getting ready to walk in. The clerk that checked me in was pleasant. The nurse that did my initial intake was friendly and helpful. The lab tech was also kind and helpful. My new doctor was kind and listened to my concerns. She asked questions to make sure that she understood everything that was documented. I'm looking forward to future visits at this office.

I scheduled a 9:10 appointment and was seen way ahead of my appointment time. I used the kiosk to sign in, scan my ID and Insurance Card. Cindy , the phlebotomist came out to greet me immediately. I was weighed, blood pressure screened and my blood was drawn in less than 10 minutes. This location is excellent. I have always been happy with the service everywhere with Quest. The best part is I saved on my grocery bill by shopping in the Walmart after my appointment. A win ! Super convenient location.

There is a shared parking lot located in front of the business. The office is very welcoming and relaxing with fresh scents, great music, complimentary tea or water. They also sell tea and wellness products and offer other services such as dry needling. Dr. K is great. She is very friendly, personable, knowledgeable and listens to my concerns. I was told to arrive early for my appointment. I arrived 10 mins before my appointment & was called back after my scheduled time. When I got into the chair I was told that I was only getting an exam today & not the cleaning that I made my appointment for. I was also told that I would not be seeing the dentist that I made my appointment with. I was extremely disappointed because I have never had to go to the dentist on two separate appointments to get a cleaning and exam, even as a new patient. I also was never informed that I needed to make two separate appointments because I would have made them at the same time or just went to another dentist. Some of the employees were apologetic and said that when making an appointment online it doesn't link to a certain dentist. When I made my appointment I did select the dentist that I wanted to see. After an extended wait I was able to see the dentist. Dr. Santago was nice. The front desk check out employee was helpful during my initial visit. I did have to come back again to get my teeth cleaned since no one was available to clean my teeth that day.
