The doctor and I use that term loosely, sees you for 7 minutes exactly. Within that time they submit a 20 page document with several false diagnosis and the form looks like it is copied for every patient. They ask you nothing about your history. They refer you out to many different doctors in their network for more $$$$ it is a scam.

For the past few weeks I had been having severe nausea lasting several hours at a time as well as occasional sharp pains in my upper chest when I went to see her. She knew my neurologist has been treating me for migraines and also that I'm taking a generic over-the-counter pill that includes 250 mg. of aspirin which, if I'm having two headaches in one day, is 1000 mg. Although she is ordering an ultrasound to make sure it's not my gallbladder causing my health issues, she feels that the amount of aspirin I am taking (until the once-a-month shot my neurologist has just prescribed for me takes effect), is causing my extreme nausea and pain. She has prescribed Prilosec and as she said what she thought is causing my problem it immediately made sense to me. And her young assistant and office staff are just as attentive and helpful as Dr. Nasir.

He gave us both a Z pack and I didn't want to start until the symptoms were more evident, today at 10am it was unbearable and I am so glad we had the Z with us. It is the firs time that we both come down with something at the same time and being disappointed would have contributed to feeling even more miserable but that was not the case thanks to the wonderful staff. Facility is clean and they really moved fast to minimize the wait and suffering. Dr. Conger's diagnosis was on point because my fever is gradually going down and I am hoping that by mid week I will be out of the water. Thank you all for the job well done Duke

Told her it was kidney pain she told me to eat more fiber and chia seeds- it was such a horrible and pointless visit they shouldnt have gotten any money. I was taking at home antibiotics (natural ones- like oil of oregano) i told her that would affect the test results, they came back that i dont have a uti but literally a few days later i stopped taking it and im back to worse again. But actually its just 'constipation' I know my body and thats not it the gas lighting in the medical system is crazy.

(You will be paying out of pocket!) You don't need an appointment, but can make one if you want. I got a mean splinter almost right through my toe and knew I couldn't get it out myself. Doctor Tope and the Nurses/office staff were all very friendly and accommodating. They even asked if I wanted to take the splinter home as a keepsake, ha! The doc said that there was no way I could have removed it myself, as he had to make an incision, which made me feel much better about going to urgent care over a splinter. (My dignity is still intact!) My wait time was only about 15 minutes (due to my own paperwork). They were able to get me generic prescriptions, which was very much appreciated, and were very knowledgeable with wound care and took the time to answer any questions. We all hate getting sick, so I won't say that I had a blast at Tremont. I will say, however, that for an urgent care, they are probably the best in Raleigh.

I only waited for about 15 minutes to be seen, and left feeling extremely cared for. Dr. Tope took time to answer my questions and never showed impatience or scorn about anything I said or asked (which frequently happens to me with most doctors). The nurses were friendly and explained everything to me and made me feel at ease with shots, etc. They don't take insurance, but you can pay with an HSA or flex-spending card (there is one exception that I don't remember so I would call first to find out if they take your card). Very happy with this place- it's the only Urgent Care I'll use from here on out!

Lack of Care: I felt that the staff at FastMed did not prioritize my care and were more concerned with casual conversations. High Cost and Inappropriate Prescription: I was charged $50 for a PA visit and received a prescription for a brand-name medication that was not covered by insurance, costing $425. I looked up the prescription and it comes in generic. But the PA was not concerned about updating the medication to the generic. Patient's Condition: I was very sick with a fever and needed medication immediately. Pharmacy Contact: I even provided the PA with the contact information for their pharmacy (Walgreens, 6 Forks Rd., phone number 919-787-1155) and asked them to call directly. PA's Incompetence: The PA failed to read the patient's notes, causing a delay in treatment despite my urgent condition. Medical Experience: I had trouble getting critical medicine and reaching the "PA's" office. Appointment Policy: Most medical facilities have a policy where if someone is more than 15 minutes late for an appointment, they have to reschedule 24 hours in advance or pay a fee. The policy should go both ways. Recommended Doctor: I hugely recommend Capital Family Medicine and Dr. Short.

I completed the paperwork and didn't have to sit again as the insurance approval came through and they took me to exam room. The timing, once registered, to being shown to exam room and between the person coming in to take my information on the laptop and the PA to begin her diagnosis, was as to be expected. A good click. The wait to go for x ray was short enough after a conversation with the PA. Then I sat for 2+ hours in pain, after several positions and xrays, while they waited for a radiologist to read my x rays. Although, every 15 to 20 minutes, someone poked their head in the door to see if I was okay, that wait was too long. By the time I was back in my car, it was 1 o'clock. I only chose that location as it was the closest when the injury happened. I live 30 min from there. Luckily, there is no fracture. Everyone was nice, friendly, and acknowledging my wait, but still. Saw 2 other patients as I left.

With Covid19 running rampid throughout the country, this is the last place I want to be. However, after being sent to the hospital by the urgent care doctor, and seeing a practically empty E.R. parking lot, and waiting room, I was relieved. As I walked in, I was greeted like I had just entered a store. The lady at the front desk, got me checked in before I could sit down. And as I went to sit down, I got called to the back. Everyone was very nice, and hospitable. The phlebotomists is one of the people I dread seeing the most (for obvious reasons). However, Mrs. B was very gentle, fast, and somehow has managed the craft of sticking me undetectably with that ginormous ( ; needle. I honestly could not feel the needle entering my hypersensitive skin. The nurses, and Dr. Salisbury (Please forgive me if I misspelled his name) were uber-nice, helpful, and explanatory. They kept the mood light, and fun which kept me from being nervous, and anxious. They all worked together seamlessly, and rather quickly to figure out why I was having abdominal pain. I was checked in, and discharged within two-in-a half hours. It was the best ER visit I'd ever experienced.
