I am very happy she finally has her own place to groom as we have followed her to some "not so great places" where she was grooming....mostly places that were not clean. We have a white standard poodle who is eight now and have been to many groomers in the Charlottesville area as well as even taking our poodle out of town to be groomed. This means that many groomers are not willing to take him on since he can't stand on his own. But he's used to being groomed and the groomer where I used to live always told me that he was sweet and well-behaved. Samantha was just wonderful with him today. I was very nervous because of terrible experiences with other groomers in the area that I had tried. But Samantha was very patient and listened attentively to all my concerns. She was ready to take him when I walked in and he was ready to go at the exact time she told me he would be ready. Pricing was in line with what other's have charged. The staff could not have been more accommodating. They figured out which dogs he placed best with and when we picked him up we found him in the grooming area where he could be around staff. He seemed very content there and I have no doubt he was cared for well. In reading other reviews, sure the place does smell like dogs are there but I could care less. What do you care about more...your dog being well cared for or the dog smell? I think it is an unrealistic expectation to hope that a dog boarding facility won't have a dog smell. I highly doubt the dogs mind. Great overall experience and very thankful my husband found this place.

We have our three dogs groomed here every quarter and love the outcome and price. They remember what we like having done on our dogs and are quick to recommend any changes due to the weather. The groomers and front staff really seem to enjoy their jobs and working with the dogs. Even when they appear busy, they still manage to have our three dogs ready within 3-4 hours after drop off and always call 30 mins before they are ready, allowing us the perfect amount of time to drive out there to pick them up! They also allow us to tip their workers via credit/debit, saving us a trip to the ATM!

Overall, not what I wanted. Luna is a high maintenance dog, and changes such as boarding cause her high stress. She was pretty hoarse upon her return and had lost significant weight. She ate every meal but her pacing and anxiety didn't help. I don't have anything negative to say about this business, but for the care of my pets, I won't board them again because my dog just doesn't do well, even though my cats do enjoy their time away.

Since our pup had spent his entire life living in a kennel (and didn't know about grass, cars, walks, toys, peanut butter--anything!), we had our work cut out for us. And we're first-time dog owners, to boot. Tricia was recommended to us after I posted on a community Reddit page. She promised to be our one-stop shop for dog help, and she's more than lived up to her promise. Not only did she help us potty-train our one-year-old pup and teach him basic commands, but she's helped us with everything from figuring out doggy daycare, grooming, pet supplies, etc. We see her once a week at our house or at a public place and also answers tons of questions from us via text/email in between sessions. Not only is Tricia great with our pup (he ADORES her), but she's great with us, too. She's super professional and prompt, and is helping us gain confidence as new dog owners.
