It's not a big place but they have a friendly and knowledgeable staff that are ready to answer any question and I have never left without exactly what I needed. For example we ran out of our prescription food for our tough guy with a very sensitive stomach and they gave us samples of everything on hand they thought would be mild enough for him just to be sure we had options (he's picky too) to get us through our visit. AND they recommended we talk to our vet about a water additive they carry that helps with any future hip and joint issues. We told to our vet about their recommendation and they said both of our dog breeds can develop those issues and had us put the additive right into their routine. Plus they even have super cute funny I love my pet items but for humans like the pictures I'll include here. Some are staples they carry often but others are only there for a little while so if you find yourself in Palmyra you're definitely going to want to stop in here!! You'll kick yourself if you don't!!

Italian…read moreGreyhounds are generally timid, sensitive dogs and we rarely board our dog so I was a little nervous about dropping him off for the day. The staff could not have been more accommodating. They figured out which dogs he placed best with and when we picked him up we found him in the grooming area where he could be around staff. He seemed very content there and I have no doubt he was cared for well. In reading other reviews, sure the place does smell like dogs are there but I could care less. What do you care about more...your dog being well cared for or the dog smell? I think it is an unrealistic expectation to hope that a dog boarding facility won't have a dog smell. I highly doubt the dogs mind. Great overall experience and very thankful my husband found this place.

During our first stay, we felt like the staff truly cared for our cats. They patiently answered questions about cat boarding since it was their first time being away from home. They were happy to give me updates on the phone as well which I appreciated. Our specific feeding schedule was easily accommodated as well. In terms of the cat boarding area, I liked how there were windows, that it was full of sun, and that the cat condos are pretty spacious. I felt like they were a lot of nooks for our cats to explore and feel safe in in a new environment. My cats have always come back home in great condition - happy, clean and with no signs of being in "fear" mode (shivering, jumpy etc) Some other things I liked about the business are that it is a small business and not a chain, prices are transparent and fair (comparable to other places in the area), situated close to Monticello Animal Hospital (our vet). Reservations, check in and check out have been very smooth. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for cat boarding!

I took my dog here to get his nails trimmed, and heard that they do walk-in appointments... literally walked in around 1pm today and was able to be out of there within less than 10 minutes! SUPER impressed by the professionalism, kindness, and promptness of the team here! Will definitely be coming back. The nails were 20 bucks but the quick timing made it so worth it & the nail job was great, completely cut down equally amongst the paws. Also the parking is EASY as there is a huge lot right out front, and if you get hungry there are NUMEROUS stores around as options as well as a quick 5 min walk to the downtown mall.

I have been spending money on a treat for my dog twice a week for about 6 months. The cashiers at…read morethe shop are sweet, but the owner is really unpleasant and has been nasty a few times before. Today was the final straw when she refused to help me (I wanted to see if my dog would tolerate a scarf over her head and wanted to use one of her coats--not to put on the whole thing, just a ribbed section over her head. There was no risk of damaging her merchandise.) When I expressed my displeasure she tried to back pedal and make alternative suggestions, but I have had enough of her passive aggressive behavior toward me and my (very well behaved) dog. I will not be visiting any more. This makes me sad because I'd rather support a small business than the big guys.

My dog is an italian greyhound. She is a Velcro dog and needs human companionship regularly. They provide human playtime for her so she doesn't get lonely. They did this. Knowing she doesn't board well, and with the $$ I was paying, I asked to receive updates (daily) on her care. I had to email often to remind them about this. They emailed me 2x with pics. Overall, not what I wanted. Luna is a high maintenance dog, and changes such as boarding cause her high stress. She was pretty hoarse upon her return and had lost significant weight. She ate every meal but her pacing and anxiety didn't help. I don't have anything negative to say about this business, but for the care of my pets, I won't board them again because my dog just doesn't do well, even though my cats do enjoy their time away.
