Came on a slow Saturday afternoon but loved the atmosphere and warm, welcoming vibes. The service was fast and very friendly. Thanks for being a cool new regular place of mine. Best craft lager I've ever had.

Very solid craft brewery in the Quad Cities. I went after a day of biking and was ready for a good brew. Brought in excellent Pad Thai from Lemongrass Cafe in Moline (see picture). ESB was very good and paired nicely with the Pad Thai. Maybe it's the Sichuan peppercorn. I wanted to try a few other offerings but was too tired after a day of cycling. When I asked for a beer menu the bartender, who was great, pointed to the chalkboard. Problem with chalkboard menus is that they don't include descriptions. Easy enough to pull up on a phone. But not that difficult to make available to serious beer drinkers, too.

Fantastic brewery in Rock Island. We live in Kansas City and we're traveling to Michigan for vacation but made a 1.5 hour detour just to drink here. The beer is fantastic, the music is grinding, the decor is ill, and the people are super kind. Their can artwork is insanely cool. There are a lot of really cool breweries in Kansas City, but I'm going to say this place bests them all. Definitely stop by if you have the chance. Whether you like death metal music or not, this place is top tier. You've gotta gooooooo!

Tasty beer and cool old school heavy metal ambience. I would recommend it as a good place to chill.

There have been a couple times where it felt a little slower, but nothing too bad. The food is definitely the best part though. My favorite thing there is the pork nachos, they're honestly really good and I would go back just for those. The portion is big and the flavor is really good, so it's easy to share but also hard not to eat all of it. Overall I'd say it's a solid place to go, especially if you're looking for something casual with good food. I'd definitely come back again.

We made the 10 minute drive to downtown Davenport and found the place with easy parking right across the street. This a neat spot near the Mississippi River and in an old brick building. The restaurant was rustic industrial and very clean and pleasing. We were greeted and took a seat near the window where we could view the river area. Our server was quite attentive. I ordered the smoked Gouda burger and cheese curds and my wife ordered the chicken strip basket. Our food arrived in a quick manner. The burger was awesome. The Gouda cheese was creamy and the burger and grilled onions were hot and fresh. The cheese curds were hot and fresh and came with a side of house made ranch dressing. My wife enjoyed the chicken strips that appeared hand breaded and she really liked the hush puppies (yes, we time time for the hush puppies). This was a pleasant change from the other meals we had on this trip. If your are in the area, give it a try. The photo of my meal almost didn't happen because I was enjoying it so much.

Walked in through the back and sat wherever--booths, tables, bar, all open. Tons of beer options. I had the Mississippi Blonde--light and tasty. We split the pretzel loaf and smoked Mississippi Gold wings. You can get regular wings, but why would you? The smoked ones were amazing. Should've gotten 12 (you can do half smoked, half regular if you're into bad decisions). Could get loud with a big group, but great vibe overall. Would definitely come back for drinks--and more wings.

Bent River has a couple locations, with the other one in Moline. Probably the choices are better at that, but this one is better for live music and events. The prices are pretty comparable to other craft breweries it seems. A lot of times it's busy. It's especially busy on weekends and when there's live music. There's a large draft selection. It's about $7 a pint. Pretty good for local beers, so we got a few of these. Best of these last time here was the Q.C Haze, a hazy IPA. It's a strong ABV at 7.1%. There's also a pretty okay food selection. It's about $8 for shareable appetizers. The Chips And Salsa are good with anything to be honest. Great brewery that's also a restaurant where they also cook everything. It has many items as far as beer and food. The food is mostly limited to food trucks, but there's stuff like brisket and pretzels.

We were barely seated when they began taking drink orders--super efficient and friendly service right from the start. I tried the Cherry Bomb Blonde beer and really enjoyed it--light and flavorful. The servers worked as a team and got everyone's orders in quickly, which is impressive for a group our size. We started with the pretzel bites and beer cheese, which were a definite 10/10--warm, soft, and perfectly paired with the cheese. We also shared a hamburger pizza, and really appreciated the thin crust and how the hamburger was broken up into small pieces. The sauce was sweet, and we would've loved just a little more of it (or maybe some on the side for dipping). We're not from the area, but if we were, this would definitely be a regular spot. I've included pictures of the BLT pizza and the jalapeño pineapple pizza that others in our group ordered--both got great reviews too. Overall, fast and friendly service, especially impressive for a large group, and the food was delicious. Highly recommend!
