I have eaten here a handful of times over the years. Every time I do, I remember how good the food is and wonder why I don't eat here more often. It looks like a typical sports bar/restaurant. What sets it apart is the quality of the food. With our most recent visit, we went at an off-peak time between lunch and dinner. The place was relatively empty. Service was timely. For an appetizer, we had fried pickles. These looked like they were cut, battered, and fried in-house and were good. For my entree, I had the Zombie Invasion Burger. They advertise it as possibly the best burger on the planet. I don't know if I would endorse it being the best on the planet, but it's definitely one of the better burgers I have had. It's a gourmet-type burger, pairing sweet with some zing. The fries were standouts as well. They weren't particularly fancy, but they were well seasoned (just salt and pepper) and based on the quality, I am guessing they were cut in-house and fried to order. My wife had a Mediterranean salad, which she liked. I did not try any of it, but I have had a salad there before (Plantation Salad) and thought it was pretty darned good. We arrived on a Thursday around 5:45 PM with a party of 12. Despite already hosting a large group, the staff immediately started putting tables together for us without hesitation. We were barely seated when they began taking drink orders--super efficient and friendly service right from the start. I tried the Cherry Bomb Blonde beer and really enjoyed it--light and flavorful. The servers worked as a team and got everyone's orders in quickly, which is impressive for a group our size. We started with the pretzel bites and beer cheese, which were a definite 10/10--warm, soft, and perfectly paired with the cheese. We also shared a hamburger pizza, and really appreciated the thin crust and how the hamburger was broken up into small pieces. The sauce was sweet, and we would've loved just a little more of it (or maybe some on the side for dipping). We're not from the area, but if we were, this would definitely be a regular spot. I found a hair in my food and not only that I'm pretty sure I saw rat droppings in the women's bathroom behind the toilet. The guy was very rude about the food getting replaced, so service was bad. Don't go here unless you want to purposely pay for a bad experience. read more

It took 30 minutes for our appetizer to come out. our server never came over too tell us that it was going to be a while FOR NACHOS!!! we finally got our food, and everything was cold, soggy and unbelievably unappetizing. We were beyond happy to find this gem for a late dinner on a Thursday night. The menu was interesting and once we walked in, the staff was amazing too! They were so friendly and genuinely happy to serve us. Our sever, Dash, was very kind and attentive. The restaurant was supinely busy for a late Thursday night. We sat at a table near the bar and they had lots of tvs on. We started with cheese curds that were accompanied by the best raspberry dipping sauce we've ever had. This was our first time having a sweet sauce with curds- phenomenal! For entrees I had the vegetarian Portobello sandwich and my Husband had the 4 Cheese Bacon Mac and Cheese Burger. We both loved our burgers! I tried a drink special of caramel vodka and cream soda and my husband had a yummy blue drink. When I first moved to the Quad Cities I was super excited that there was a burger place less than a quarter mile from my place. I went in and was even more so excited when I found out the food wasn't half bad! However... The third time I went in was on December 23rd. I had just picked my daughter up and we were driving home. It was snowy, cold, late, and nothing was open, so I told her about Treehouse and we decided to stop. We walked in and the only people inside at 10PM were the owner, another guy who I guess was his friend, his friend's college aged son, and a server. I asked if they were open and the owner insisted they were and showed us a table. The server came over, was nice enough asked us for drink orders (2 waters) and left. At this time the owner came over and I realized he wasn't sober. He asked if I wanted a beer. I declined, but he hounded me. So I agreed just to have him leave me alone. Then he asked my *SEVENTEEN YEAR-OLD* daughter if she wanted one. She declined, three times before he wandered off. We ordered a pizza and was told it would take 20 mins by the owner and he'd watch over it personally. Over the next 30 minutes he would call me over to him, have me sing with him and his friend, brag about the outdoor domes, ask if we wanted to go sit out in them. Insist that I give him my phone number so that he can call me and talk to me about renting one. Then insist that I take his number instead since he was too drunk to work his phone. For the next 20 minutes after that he tried to get my, again, *SEVENTEEN YEAR-OLD* daughter to drink two more times. He kept insisting I drink more. I told him I don't like drinking if I'm going to be driving, especially on snowy days, so I'm done with the one. Finally our pizza came out. It was burnt to a crisp. We both ate about a slice and a half of what was salvageable. When I asked for the bill he said, "eh no charge.." then I saw the server who I could tell had just been denied pay with that, after running around for him all night. I asked the server to bill me what he thought was fair, and I paid him more in tips. When I was driving home, I noticed that there was a beer in my coat pocket. If I had got in an accident, pulled over, or worse. My life as I know it would be over. All we wanted was a bite to eat, all the owner wanted was to get everyone as drunk and irresponsible as he was. Visited on a Friday night. Was very busy but we were sat rather quickly. No staff wearing masks which was disappointing but ultimately not a deal breaker for us. My daughter & I were sat at a small table so close to another table that she could barely sit down. I slid the table over so she had room then I was uncomfortable but it worked. I ordered a salted caramel martini which was absolutely delicious but took about 15 mins to arrive. We decided to order an appetizer and went with the bacon cheese fries. They were amazing. The bacon jam on them was phenomenal. My daughter and I were a bit overwhelmed by the extensive menu & decided to order burgers. She got the mac n cheese burger which she loved. I got the Hawaiian burger which was just okay... the Hawaiian sauce advertised was just basic BBQ. We both ordered medium burgers. Hers was perfect. Mine was super red and bloody, but I powered thru since the waitress was no where to be found. Overall a nice place which I would go to again but would not order a burger. Okay, we visited Iowa for a Michigan/Iowa game and won. We decided to stay in Bettendorf. This place was amazing. The food the atmosphere. We ate there Friday and Saturday. The Accelerator salad and the Zombie Invasion burger with Anna on Friday and the Tuscan Chicken BLT and the same Zombie burger with Chicken with Kane on Saturday night was even better and Friday was amazing. The Sangria is yummy and the Loaded Bloody Marie is a meal within its self. If your ever in the area stop. The manager is a very nice guy as well. read more

Of course I wanted to give it a try and it quickly became my parents & I's go to spot. Their menu is absolutely huge, ranging from pizza's to salads to sandwiches and burgers. You want something, they most definitely have it! I always order a "build your own salad" with pickle fries as an appetizer. Our first time here was a great one. We were greeted at the door and given a table very fast. The outside seating has a great ambience while the inside has a different feel but still a good one. The manager and server where very attentive and polite. Now the food; amazing. They told us that they made everything when ordered and it's fresh and they were not kidding. From making the reservation for the igloo setting at night, to changing it the same day because I didn't account for daylight savings time, to our entire visit - everyone had excellent customer service and were very personable! I want to call out Caleb for his wonderful attitude while accommodating and serving us. Brian is also a great host of his fine establishment. It's good seeing the owner get involved and taking pride for what he has built. The food and ambience are excellent here! On Christmas Eve we called the Treehouse Pub about the hours of operation. We were politely told that the restaurant would close at 5pm. Since it was 4:45pm we thought we were out of luck. I hung up the phone. Immediately I received a phone call asking if we could come right away and if we did, they would feed us. When we arrived, the owner asked if we were the ones who called on the phone. At this point it was three minutes to closing. I told the owner that we were and if was too late to get something to eat. He said he was happy to feed us, and had us sit at the table of our choice. The restaurant was busy. His employees wanted to go home on time for the holidays. The owner personally took our order. The food was excellent; both the nachos and the pizza were outstanding. Every time I'm in the Treehouse Pub; I'm impressed with the employees and the management. There is a wonderful, personal touch the owner exhibits. He cares about his customers. He is proud of his food. He is proud of his establishment. He is proud of the ambience. Every time I go to this restaurant I am impressed. It would be hard to beat the service or the food. read more
